theres a few things that could so to speak "upset" your device.
you need to make sure you hd2 have installed hspl 2.08.
have the newest radio 2.15.xx.xx(im not sure it can affect the GO GO GO! thing, but its best to be safe)
have at least MAGLR 1.11 installed (I have 1.12 that was released with WP7)
have properly gave your phone a hard reset.
I'm sure there are more things that can affect it, but i can't think of any really, im just throwin' ideas out there and hope it helps.

Do this
Hi, mdj rooms are buged many problems... touch screen blocked boot.. laging format sd card with panasonic sd formater... then instal another nand rom... I sugest rafroid... and you might whant to reset magdlr...

[Q] !!HELP!! STUCK ON ANDROID LOGO AFTER gogogo! on magldr

hey guys ive seen a few thread similar to mine but they seem to just different enough, that i cant use the same solution posted.
I used Magldr to run android rom on my hd2 and after the go go go! screen in went to the android logo... then turns off ... then loads again then turns off ... so annoying
I did the whole process over again from scratch but the same thing happened.
Im sure i am missing something but i cant seem to figure out what it is.
I did the following steps
1) falsh HSPL 2.08
2) flash Task 29 with 2.15 radio
3) Paste "initrd.gz" and "zImage" to root sd
4) after reboot i went to "BOOT AD SD"
5) booted rom from CWM
6) everything went good ... got past go go go! then is just stopped at the android logo

however i figured my earlier problem now im running into something else
i didn't use the "initrd.gz" and "zImage" from CWM
NEW problem
After rebooting with CWM android boots up then turns off and then it boots up from nand and turns off again ... this will keep on looping until i take battery out
I re flashed Magldr but it did the same thing ... im going to reflash HSPL then try again ... but i followed all the direction from the following thread and dont see where i went wrong

thanks ... kinda to hose who helped...
I used CWM 1.0 instead and everything worked fine...i also used the the Jaws-MIUI rom

hi need help
can not install the Clockwork Mod Recovery On The HD2 when i restart on the MAGLDR only on 2.Boot AD NAND what do need help!!!!!!!!!!!
cant reboot form BOOT AD SD only on Boot AD NAND need help?????
on the AD SD Boot Dir set to the root ( >.< in the menu) which one i select it have <,> AAlic*1,dcim,mydoc*1,WMDRM,TRANSF*1,XDA_UC,GAMELOFT,MULTIM*1.APP,PROGRA*1??????
hope this not way off i am still totaly new at this but , just went trhough something similar with a bad nand install and kept rebooting to quietly brillant, not sure where i found my answer now but hold down the power button after you boot to get to default main magdlr screen where you will be able to make the changes you need then maybe reflash your rom
If it keeps looping over HTC white screen and the 1234 GOGOGO MAGLDR screen then take out your battery and push the battery pins back. They could be loose.
This also happened to me, my i only option and solution was: press hard-reset button on backside so it wont be stuck on the andriod logo and go back to the store and be really nice to the salesman so he would send it back to htc.
I'm currently having issues resulting in this same issue. I've tried mutiple different Roms aswell as using some SD roms in the hopes that I would fine a build suitable for my phone but I always end up getting bad results.
My previous NAND Rom worked fine for all of about 5 hours before I started getting freezes, restarting and constant boot loops along with massive battery drains.
Currently running the below ROM and so far, it's been the most reliable (going almost 12hrs without a hitch) but this morning I found it sat on the little blue android man screen. Had to do a battery pull and switched the phone back on, only to end up on the same screen again. I've left the phone for a fair period of time between each battery pull (probably around 30mins) but still get the same thing.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=967353
Any idea's on how to fix this? Ideally I'd like to keep the same build I have now as its a really nice build... I just can't seem to get anything running properly.
Seem to have got it working again. Did a battery pull but left the battery out for a good 20mins before putting it in. Booted up first time and it seems to be working fine now.

need help, bricked htc hd2

my htc hd2 is bricked, the screen is stuck at the white tmobile screen.
However, i can get to the red, green, blue, and white screen.
i read a comment on a old thread, there was a way to fix it, but they didn't post the comment. So is there a way to fix my hd2?
more details on how it might be bricked.
i left my phone uncharged causing it freeze, so i reset it.
that when i took out the battery and ever since
when i try trying it on, it stood in the white tmobile screen.

First off your HD2 is not bricked. If it wax bricked it would not so much as turn on.To save your HD2 do one of these two things.
Download the official update from T-Mobile.com. Look behind your battery to find your IMEI number to enter. Next make sure your HD2 is good and charged I know this is hard as it will not boot but just let it charge for a good while as you do not want the battery to die during either method of flashing. Now while the phone is off hold the volume down button down and press the power button but keep holding the volume down button down. When the phone is in bootloader(multicolor screen) connect your phone to the computer via USB and wait for Serial in the white bar of the bootloader screen to change to USB and for your computer to show it recognizes your phone then right click on the update package and click run as administrator and run the update utility. This should flash the stock ROM but if you have MAGLDR you will loose it and if you have HSPL you might lose it.
Now the secound option you have is to right click on the update package and click on view or explore wich ever one you see and find the RUU_signed.nbh file and rename it to leoimg.nbh or LEOIMG.nbh as it is not case sensitive. Then take a 500MB to 4GB SD card that is formated with Fat 32 and place it into a USB SD card reader and plug it into a USB port on your computer. If you are not sure about the format. Go to "My Computer" and find the card reader, it will be a removable drive or a mass storage device (make sure to make a back up copy of the intior contents of the SD card first as it will wipe the card clean)and right click on it and click format and then Fat 32. Copy the leoimg.nbh file to the root of the SD card. After coping it to the SD card place the card in your phone and put it into bootloader the same as mentioned above but keep the volume down button held down until you see searching on the phone screen and then let the volume down button go. You will have to press the power button to comfirm it. This should flash your phone to complete stock as it will remove MAGLDR, CWM, and HSPL if you have it on your phone.
There is other options to but I highly suggest going back to stock and then starting back over again as to me it just simplifies things some. Also seeing as you have a T-Mobile HD2 do not flash a radio that looks like any of these 2.04.50.xx, 2.05.50.xx, or any radio like this 2.xx.51.xx as any of these radios will brick a T-Mobile HD2.

Yes you can reflash a Andriod ROM if you go back to stock but you would have to flash HSPL 2.08 again, flash MAGLDR 1.13 again, and CWM if you want to use it.
If you just want to flash another Andriod ROM just turn your HD2 off and then turn it back on button keep the power button down until the main menu of MAGLDR comes up (that is if you already have MAGLDR on your HD2) and then follow the instructions from the Andriod ROM on how to flash it using MAGLDR or CWM if you have it.
If you do not have HSPL and MAGLDR on your HD2 uou will have to flash both to hour HD2 befor you can flash a Andriod ROM. To flash these do this but your HD2 into bootloader (muticolor screen) and connect it to your computer via USB cable and wait to see USB in the white bar of the bootloader screen and that your computer recognizes your HD2 then flash wichever one you are wanting to flash. You will have to do this for every individual thing you want to flash. You also need to flash HSPL 2.08 first then MAGLDR 1.13 and then CWM if you want it.

No you have to have MAGLDR to install Android. Try installing Clock Work Mod (CWM) and use it to install your Andriod ROM. Just do a search for Clock Work Mod for HTC HD2. Then read and follow the instructions in the ROM thread to use CWM to flash it.
i have a few problems when trying to install any rom using magldr.
First, whenever i boot up to the magldr screen, sometime it will freeze and i have to take out my battery.
Second, When installing a rom, it gets stuck at "the booting android from nand 123456 go go go" screen.
What could be wrong with my magldr, i already tried to re-installing it and it still acts up.

Take your SD card out of your HD2 and then boot it up and see if you still have the problem. If it is gone you need to back up your SD card and do a full wipe of it and reformat it using your computer and a SD card reader. Format it Fat 32.

Run a task 29 on your HD2 then reclash MAGLDR and see if this helps it should, unless you have some bad boot sectors.
damn, i also tried that too, but it still freezes on me. i think i have a bad boot sector, how do i fix this?

Well you can not fix bad boot sectors persay witbout replacing the NAND memory chip which acrually requires the replacment of the intior mainboard of your HD2. Because you can not just replce the chip cause of the wah the mainboard is made. Wht you can do is use a JTAG device and some special software to go in and mark those sectors as bad so the phone will no longer try to use those sectors.

Bricked Phone - Did android NAND kill it?

My phone has been running an Android NAND for a couple of months, and the other day it just froze and then on rebooting i get a plain white screen.
I can get to the bootloader and so far nothing flashes to it
HSPL - Critical Error
SD-CARD flash - red numbers or just continual loading
USB flash - sits at 0% then gets error
so what killed my phone?
and is there ANY way i can get it working again, if not...i will throw it in the bin or perhaps smash it up with a hammer and post a youtube video here...im that annoyed! I wouldnt mind if i continually flashed roms, but i didnt...flashed on Android NAND and now its dead.
Find yourself a standard Winmobile rom and radio for the HD2 (if yours is a TMOUS device make sure you choose the correct radio and rom type for this device) and flash them to your device. With a bit of luck your device should then boot up.
If you then wish to go down the Android route again then read and follow all the instructions on here to do so. Don't forget to make sure your battery is fully charged before you attempt the reflash.
Good luck, hope it goes well.

Do you still have the Andriod ROM on your HD2? If so boot into MAGLDR by turning the HD2 off and then pressing andbolding down the power button. Then use the volume up and down keys to scoll through the menu and find recovery and press the send button to select.
If you nolonger have the Andriod ROM then I suggest running a Task 29 on your HD2 then try to flash the official ROM to your HD2. If you are still having trouble getting it to flash do not get discuraged just keep tring to get it to flash, heck trythe USB method for awhile then try the SD card method for awhile. For some unknown reason to me a lot of people here on XDA have been having trouble getting their HD2 to flash a ROM. But all of them just kept trying and eventually got it to flash a ROM. Best of luck.

Did you run a Task 29 on your HD2 as I mentioned in my previous post? I beleive this will help you out. Also if you still have MAGLDR on your HD2 you can try to reflash the Andriod ROM. If you no longer have MAGLDR on your HD2 then you can reflash HSPL 2.08 and reflash MAGLDR by usinig the bootloader and the try flashing the Adriod ROM. Just make sure the white bar of the bootloader screen says USB and not Serial before you try to flash anything.
T-Mac, I have this problem. It's not something as simple as with MAGLDR or CWM. You can't even get a bootscreen let alone flash anything from HSPL (everything sticks at %0) lol.
Dude, your best bet is to try go flash a custom WinMo ROM. I used one of Artemis' ROM's. It had a .nbh file so I renamed it to LEOIMG.nbh and put on my SD card (512-4GB max) and then boot to HSPL and it'll allow you to flash the ROM.
It'll flash correctly but once it reboots it'll go back to the white screen. After that, it'll be able to charge when off so let it charge overnight while off, then in the morning try unplug the USB from the phone then pull battery and put it back in then try boot. It worked like 3 times for me so you might aswell try it.
I personally think it's a problem with MAGLDR and maybe it becomes corrupt or something.
hi
im gonna try this now, but i have a small problem...it did flash HSPL and now it is on 2.08.000 and it wont flash back
its one nightmare after another.
made a little progress, when trying to flash stock rom from sd it just sits on loading.... no error but doesnt do anything else.
Try this turn your HD2 off and remove the battery for a couple of minutes and then put the battery back in. I do not know if the HD2 has a reset like this or not. But a lot of electronicsreset certain things when all power is disconnected. This may not help but what can it hurt. Best of luck.

Stuck on "Go Go Go"

Hey guys, I've managed to install MAGLDR on my HD2, and I have tried to install CWM.
First I tried v1.3 and everything went OK till i got stuck on the "Go Go Go" screen.
Then I tried v1.2 using my SD card, but i still end up with the same problem.
The thing is I don't have any ROM installed on my HD2 so I can't do anything more !
Would greatly appreciate your help =)
do you use MAGLDR 1.13?
did you try and reinstall your ROM?
Do you use a compatible radio?
Yep I'm on 1.13
I can't do much more, my HD2 won't even boot into the bootloader ! I'm basically stuck on MAGLDR with no ROM and no ability to install back a standard windows ROM

I followed the steps carefully, so it should be OK but how can I be sure ?
Make sure your battery pins aren't loose. Push them back with your finger and try again.
Sent from my HTC Vision using XDA App
Tried about everything I could hardware-wise without tearing it apart... unfortunately the battery pins don't change anything.
Quite a few members seem to be facing the same problem recently: no access to the bootloader, stuck on MALDR... wonder what's the problem.
The only thing I can do is run WP7 on it, which is not very usable.
i made this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=945427
maybe it helps?
Thanks yz.hd but I can't get to the bootloader (volume down + power only brings me to MAGLDR), nor CWM...
It's not possible to only be able to get to MAGLDR and not bootloader I don't think. Just hold down the volume button and then power on while still holding down the power button and see what happens. I had a problem like that where my HD2 would get stuck at "1234" and then stopped and rebooted. The battery pins where the cause.
Sent from my HTC Vision using XDA App
I've tried loads of times, the combo volume down + power really doesn't bring anything up, no matter which way I put it... a complete mystery !
So you've tried to install CWM? Did it work or not? Are you able to go to the USB flasher in Magldr? And install it again, try to see if the AD Recovery works?
Yep, I tried again, the USB flasher works perfectly fine, CWM installs perfectly. But when I go to Ad recovery, it still stays on "Go Go Go!".
Same thing if i install CWM via my SD card
Try formatting SD card (you will lose your data). Try again.
How long does it hang?
If that doesn't work, try to install a DAF rom, and see what happens.
you probably don't have the 'copy to sd' folder in the root of your sd?

What do you mean by a DAF Rom ? One that is directly bootable from MAGLDR ? I have tried a WP7 rom which works ok. But I still can't install a bootloader to bring it back to WP 6.5 and start the process all over again to install CWM...
@DKxda: is it necessary to have a folder ? I copied the two files directly in the root of my SD.
DAF rom is a rom that doesn't use CWM to run (directly from magldr).
Nope I'm still stuck on Go Go Go if I want to install a DAF Android ROM (no problem with WP7 ROMs though)...
Sorry mate, I'm out of options you could try (well, install CLK, but you need the bootloader for that...)
Hope someone else will help you fix this!
Edit: When does it get stuck at go go go? Immediately at boot or after selecting Boot AD Nand?
You can try to ask it in the Magldr Thread, cause it seems like a Magldr problem to me...

Well, since yesterday I'm getting a similar issue!
Stuck at go go go or just after on the boot screen which is completely messed I get the top 1/4 screen ok, the rest is bad lines, then the bottom half is dark.
Yesterday I tried installing a CM7 build for my HD2... stuck at Android logo...
So I reflashed CWM Recovery 400Mb partition ok, restored my last backup and rebooted... Now I have this issue all the time!
Tried my many backups, reflashing CWM Recovery a couple of times, factory reset from CWM or MAGLDR...
Nothing will do!
Is my HD2 dead or what????

[Q] HTC HD2 bricked, can load bootloader cant install any ROM

HI everyone,
This is the first time for me posting a thread here...thanks in advance.
Well I have a HTC HD2 that is a friends of mines. He was trying to change the radio so it could work in another country and managed to brick the phone. He got tired of trying to fix the phone so he gave it to me. I have tried fixing it with a tool kit I downloaded in another thread here. I managed to get it to boot butt it wouldn't get past T-Mobile screen...I kept on messing with it trying to install a ROM and different radios but non will work and wont turn on anymore but still is able to be recognize but PC(not mobile media center) and the last thing I did was task29. It stopped at 99%...still can load bootloader 3 colors but having a harder time getting the phone recognize by PC. Can anyone help me before I get into a deeper hole? If your need any more detail please ask me...btw the phone is running SPL- 3.03 HSPL in boot loader.

your friend shouldnt have flashed the radio without proper info !!
radio is the only thing which bricks the device !!!
dont worry we'll try to sort something out !!
firstly start with flashing a proper radio !!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=611787
download the radio 2.15.50.14 from this thread and flash it !!
NOTE : if you cant flash radio from ur pc, via nbh installer or the toolkit, you can flash it from a memory card !!
just format a normal memory card, put the radio on the card, rename the radio file to LEOIMG.nbh and get to the bootloader screen !!
follow the instructions from there and flash the radio !!
secondly if you want android or wp7-7.5 on ur device !! hspl 3.03 wont work !!
so install hspl 2.08 for that !!
for winmo6.5 3.03 is ok !!
do a task 29 once and flash any rom or magldr(for android or wp7-7.5)!!
good luck .....
thanks for quick reply
I am trying to do what you instructed me.
Didn't work
I tried it on the PC and it sadly stopped @ 96%, now it wont turn on volume down+power. Battery was charged and i didn't turn off. It displayed error 262. as soon as I can I will try it on sd card. Thanks though.
I was not able to install the radio but did in fact get to task29 successfully and MAGLDR Version-1.13. Now my phone is stuck in the Stick together screen. Can anyone help me from here what should I do. thanks I will be waiting for a responce.
Do you still need help cos its really easy to unbrick your phone and I say this because once I flashed 5 different roms in 2 hours or less and my phone wouldn't even turn on and when it did it would get stuck on the tmObile splash screen and restart but I fixed it and now I'm running the best Rom out there lol... reply to this thread and I'll tell you what to do

Ireally don't know what to do. MY friend said he took it to an Asian Guy...I noticed that the battery S/N does not match the phone...can this have an effect...I haven't been able to flash any ROMS successfully not even the debranded stock. I flashed several phones and installed many different custom firmwares but this phone has been a real challenge...I'm over 2 weeks in...Thanks for the help thus far you guys are the best...
leoimg.nbh won't start to install
Hi everyone,
I have a severe problem with my HTC HD2 after installing a NAND version of android which did not work very well, than wanting to reinstall winmob 6.5 (vodafone) it startet "loading" the leoimg.nbh from the SD-card, but than stayed in this status neverending. So I interrupted (was that the mistake?? :-( }. Now I'm able to start MAGLDR 1.13, am also able to install another NAND version, but with every version I get the message: problem with android.xxx and so on.
I can start the bootloader modus (SPL-2.08.HSPL 8G XE), also connect by USB, but if I try to reload any leoimg.nbh from SD card - it does nothing, just stays in the bootloader modus.
Did I destroy any hardware by interrupting the non functioning "loading"?
Please help, if you can, what I could do now to get a functioning NAND android again!
Many thanks in advance!!!
freak just try the task 29 and u might return everything to normal condition
and for future never interrupt the installation process as u can brick ur device
for the main topic, i can say that ur device is fully bricked and the only way is taking it to the service center or try flashing directly into the hardware, but thats dangerous and requires professional skills

Please tell me what to do..

First of all; This steps can solve your problem. But first of all(don't forget to check 2.08.HSL) try to use "Task29" and if it is success, load Radio ROM 2.15.50.14, and load original Winmo 6.5 ROM (Tmous or EU which phone do you use).
If you are stuck somewhere, then;
Download an original ROM for your HTC device from HTC webside.
- Format your SD card like FAT32 primary.
- Take "RUU_signed.nbh" from an original ROM and copy it to your SD card.
- Rename to "leoimg.nbh"
- Reset your device while pressing the volume down button.
Radio ROM 2.15.50.14;
Radio ROM 2.15.50.14
HD2 Toolkit 4.2.0.1; ( contains task 29, magldr and recovery and also HSPL)
HD2 Toolkit 4.2.0.1
it's revived!

After several attempts to switch on the phone it finally turned on so I immediately installed stock ROM and it didn't get stuck on 0%.. it worked!!
Do you think I should perform a task 29 now or I can just proceed with installing a new radio and then installing a new ROM?
Thanks again mate!
Apparently I need to install SPL 2.08 before trying to install HSPL and then run android.. anyone know where I can find it?
Nevermind figured everything out Thanks anyway

If you want to change your ROM with one another like Android NAND ROM or Windows 6.5 ROM, then use this procedures.
For NAND Android ROM; You must flollow this sequence;
first check your device if it is 2.08.HSPL, and format your sdcard ext3 or ext4 and 1gb (which one you must use is pointed out by your Android chief). Copy new Android ROM into your sdcard's FAT32 section. insert it into your HTC device.
1. do task29
2. instal radio rom 2.15.50.14
3. install magldr 1.13
4. do recovery 5.0.2.6
5. do clear cache and dalvik cache.
6. Choose your android ROM .zip file on sdcard, load and enjoy...
For Windows 6.5 Follow this sequence;
first check your device if it is 2.08.HSPL, Format your sdcard like FAT 32 primary partition. insert it into your HTC device.
1. do Task29
2. Install Radio ROM 2.15.50.14
3. Run LeoCustomRUU.exe like "Run as Administrator" which Windows 6.5 rom you chose to use.
Radio ROM 2.15.50.14;
Radio ROM 2.15.50.14
HD2 Toolkit 4.2.0.1; ( contains task 29, magldr and recovery and also HSPL)
HD2 Toolkit 4.2.0.1

Are you booting into bootloader and connecting the device to your computer so you can get the HTC Sync connection. Just boot into bootloader by holding the volume down button down and poewering on your device. Connect it to your computer via USB and when you see Serial in the white bar of boo5tloader change to USB you have the HTC Sync connection and can flash your device.
I face a very odd problem with my HD2 EU. After years of 2 different versions of Android on nand I decided to reset it to stock(Vol down+power with leoimg.nbh in root of a FAT32 formatted microsd). When I get in bootloader mode there seem to be 2 instances of bootloader. The first 3 colour screen with all the right wordings lasts a second or two then I get a second 3 colour screen with the same wordings. With my Verbatim 8Gb class4 microsd formatted FAT32 and leoimg.nbh (obtained from the original RUU_Leo_HTC_ITA_1.66.408.1_Radio_15.32.50.07U_2.07.51.22_2_Signed_LEO_Ship.exe) in the root directory, the device does not recognize the file and it's not possible to restore the phone to stock, but I can only get into usb connection.
Being able to get in usb mode with the various versions of HSPL (1-2-3-4) I can still change the bootloader. With the HD2 Android toolkit 4.2.0.1 I can install cLK, Magldr, do a Task29 and repartition.
When I use the RUU installer I can install the RUU_signed.nbh that I used to get the leoimg.nbh BUT when I do it, and it does finish gracefully, on the screen that states the currently installed image THE INDICATION OF SUCH AN IMAGE IS BLANK whilst the name of the image to install is the one I am flashing. If I reflash the same image AGAIN (so I know what's on the device) the info of the installed image is never displayed. So after trying the various bootloaders HSPL and SPL and getting the same result you are my only resort.
Has anybody experienced such a problem? It is as if the the bootloader goes through a script that then starts a second "identical" bootloader (I understand that I may seem crazy) that is not capable of recognizing a leoimg.nbh. All my buttons are still working so it's definitely not a button problem. Therefore in a nutshell the question is: if I can't get the device to recognize a leoimg.nbh is there any other way to make it do so, given that I can communicate via usb without problems ?
