Hey guys is this possible? If so, how? Any instructions? Like is there a way of when you turn your phone on you get some screen where you can select which OS you want to run? Thanks.

Hi I'd like to know is it possible run a Windows phone 7 software on HTC hd2 ? And if it is possible then how much space it takes on a memory card, and is this software like just a program wich you can to run or it's going to reinstall default software?
Why don't you first try search?

Put it inside system/customize/resource via adb or create a cwm zip if you are using cwm.

will try thnx
tried and doesnt work also tried with terminal nothing
Haven't checked the source, mobile currently, but it's probably a boot anim for a device with a lower screen resolution. Scale 'em up to 800*480 or find some others.
Hi
Newbie here... I've searched for this Q & A but ' haven't found anyone with this exact problem...
I've just bought an used but barely used HTC HD2 with WM6.5 from a friend of mine.
I wanted to have both Android and WM, so i did install RAFDROID HD 4.2 on my sd. Everything went smooth on the installation, but now i wanted that Android as my default OS. Every time i turn on my HD2, it loads automatically WM. Tried to install [APP] RunDroid-dual boot to Android [SD] or WM6, and even when i select Android as default, it will load WM first...
Anyone can help me?
Thanks
António

Can you help me, giving me a tip on how i do that? (it is mandatory that i maintain WM intact on the phone memory)
well if you want nand android than your WM will be gone.
but you can always reflash it back to WM later.
if you do not want WM to be gone you should maybe try a different bootloader

Right, you should try a different boot loader
try this: multiboot: http://www.mediafire.com/?nssn9v0ijoy3thv
You can install more than 1 android build on SD card.

Are you for real?
Yeah I bought it from ebay and I didn't see the part where it said no operating system as I was more interested in the savings I was getting.
Yes, you can install all compatible os' onto your phone
Eg. Android, Windows mobile, Windows Phone 7.
Just follow the guides, but they all basically start with - Hold down the [Vol_Down] button, and turn on the phone. You will see a multi-colour screen, then just flash either a windows mobile os, or magldr/clk then install wp7/android.

Hi, I've not tried windows on my phone yet but I'm tempted too. What is the best / most popular rom?
I guess then can be booted from SD cards like I currently do with american android?
Thanks
Umm, first of all, Windows "Phone" 7 cannot be booted from sd card.
And the best ROM is "Back to the Future" (like we haven any others :/ )
Thanks. How do you go about running it then if not from sd?

It must be run from the NAND memory. However, you will need to have an sd-card pre-installed.
Cheers mate, is that simple enough to do?

I didn't really use any guides when I installed my B2TF ROM and upgraded it to Mango.
But from the title, I can tell that this thread should help you out:
[Install Guide] Back to the Future [XBmod-Yuki] [7720 ready]
And you're welcome
just be advised that it has lots of gaps, no multitouc, no wifi thetering, and there seems to be no dev around to help, so if your not in love with wp7, stay with android
That said WP7 is lovely to use and very fast.
You will need to call Microsoft to get an activation code to use any of the online services. They seem quite happy to give out the codes just have a read of the WP7 forum for details.
hello everybody ! I have a big problem ! my hd2 is running with WP7.5 mango & i need to switch it to Android ! ? any help plz ?

I run a NAND cLK android.. I found this easier than MAGLDR... I'm not too sure the difference but I suggest downloading the HD toolkit... it has both in the one app... and is easy to use on windows
