Hello, I have my evo running on Fresh 3.5. Everything works great except I can't update the Baseband nor the PRI. I've tried Clockwork and the Fresh Updater with different methods; Boot into recovery, tried to get RA to boot into recovery and a bunch more. Anyone have any suggestions on updating the radios and PRI? Thank you.

Has anyone had issues with getting into recovery after loading the new skyraider 3.3 sense rom?
No issues here, loaded 3.3 yesterday along with Kings BFS#5 Kernel. Just rebooted into Recovery and kicked off a nandroid backup.
most problems with 3.3 are related to not having the correct radio installed,
please be sure you are running the right "baseband" under "settings/about phone/software info"
should be 2.15.xx.xx.xx
mine is 2.15.00.07.28 and everything is working just fine
Hey thanks I got 2.05 so i need to move up where can i find the new radio?
I updated to 3.3 a few days ago when it was relased. After that recovery worked fine, however I updated to the newest (2.5.0.5) ClockWorkMod Recovery and never could get into recovery with that version. I had to reinstall a old version of the recovery. I think the newest Clockwork has the issues. Is it possible you updated to the newest CW at time of SR 3.3?
I had some trouble last time I tried CM7 and reverted to stock. Am gonna try it again but am wondering which recovery to flash?
There were multiple versions of clockwork and there was even an alternate recovery. The problem is some older update.zip files don't work with the clockwork 3 recovery.
Now, considering all factors, which is the best recovery to flash?
I'd recommend the 2.5.1.8 recovery, as it works with new and old (Edify and Amend) .zip files.
Hope it helps

After having no issues with flashing ROM's, radios etc for over 6 months i've recently encountered a problem. When trying to update to CM7.0.3 from CM7.0.1 i had a system cannot mount error and was unable to flash any new ROM as a result. To try to fix this i formatted system and restored to a CM7 ROM and everything seemed fine. From here i can flash a ROM but when booting the new ROM it does not include gapps (even when selected to install from clockwork) and the system cannot mount error occurs again.
In short, everything seems to work fine currently but as soon as i flash a new ROM i get a system cannot mount error. The same thing happened with a CM nightly and so im thinking it is not just an isolated problem with a specific build.
Any help would be much appreciated. On a side note, on the restored ROM im currently using i have a LordMod Kernel installed, not sure if this would effect anything as when the problem was first encountered i did not.
Thanks.
Restore to a working ROM using your backups.
Boot into bootloader and then into fastboot.
Download ClockworkMod Recovery 3.0.2.8 from HERE
Unzip and run install-recovery-windows.bat. This will flash the latest recovery for you.
Now try again.
Yeh that worked perfectly, thanks alot.
I'm rooted correctly and have the newest TWRP recovery installed. I've successfully flashed the update for a newer recovery than the stock one when you first put a custom recovery and I flashed an update for the radio on my d800.
I haven't tried flashing any stock roms only new 4.4.1 or.2 Roms. My question is did I miss a step, do i need to flash something else like the latest OTA then wipe again and go for AOSP. I'm by no means new to flashing.
When i try to flash it this is what I get
"error executing updater binary in zip "
Any tips?
Nvm. I switched recovery. Used the unofficial CWR and even though it holds up on clearing the cache it installed beautifully.
i was running triforce rom 5.1 and was going to try sacs 4.4.2. it said that i had to use the new twrp or cwm recovery for 4.4.2. so i cleared all my data as i always do before flashing a new rom. then i flashed the new twrp and rebooted. now it will not reboot into recovery it starts then just reboots again. i tried putting cwm and philz back on with odin but it does the same thing. anyone know what i need to do?
edit: i tried a different version of odin and cwm loaded
