I'm rooted correctly and have the newest TWRP recovery installed. I've successfully flashed the update for a newer recovery than the stock one when you first put a custom recovery and I flashed an update for the radio on my d800.
I haven't tried flashing any stock roms only new 4.4.1 or.2 Roms. My question is did I miss a step, do i need to flash something else like the latest OTA then wipe again and go for AOSP. I'm by no means new to flashing.
When i try to flash it this is what I get

Nvm. I switched recovery. Used the unofficial CWR and even though it holds up on clearing the cache it installed beautifully.

about a week ago when 4.4 roms surfaced for mako, i wanted to try one out. when i did it failed, so i read that you had to either update TWRP or use CWM. so i tried to update TWRP with goo, and goo is down i guess, so someone posted a flashable zip of the newest TWRP(2.6.3.2) and CWM(6.0.4.4) so i got them both, and flashed the TWRP, and it flashed the 4.4 roms. and i used my nandroid to go back to 4.3(Carbon ROM) and now it fails when i try to flash a new nightly (i facrtory resetted) and it failed on my backup too, so i flashed CWM, and rebooted and it fails on everything too. (new nightly, and a copuple of roms i had been meaning to try) and i just fastbooted the official image from teamw.in website (2.6.3.3) and its failing on nightlies, but restored my backup.
what can i do to make it flash again?
should i downgrade to TWRP 2.6.3.0, i think that is where i was and it would flash, I THINK. lol.
please help.

Sounds like a problem with your recovery to me, but please don't use all caps, it's difficult to read properly

Was previously rooted running a flashed rom (firekat deodexed v7), but had to restore, when trying to update to newer version of this rom, wouldn't update. So i restored to stock 4.4 kitkat ank4 and then did the upgrade thru tmobile to lollipop. I then rooted again with cf root and flashed recovery with flashify, everything went smooth. Tried flashing new rom and it will not flash any rom. (tried beanstalk 5.0050-20150414-trltetmo, cmremix_trltetmo-5.0.2.v6.0.zi0,959, cm-12.1-2015050 and cm-12-20141220-unofficial-trltetmo, darthstalker_note4-v1 and some others. Did full wipe, cache, dalvik, etc, .
Have then restored to stock n910t-cod6 lollipop. Cf root and flashify twrp. Did backup and also restore from backup will also not work, just goes into bootloop.
Also did a full restore/wipe from settings on phone.
When flashing, keep getting error "unable to open zip file" - error flashing zip 'external_sd/beanstalk-5.0050-20150414-trltetmo.zip"

I officially upgraded to 3.0.2, unlocked and rooted my phone.
It was fine for the first few times I flashed multiple ROMs. But ever since I flashed Exodus, I keep having issues switching to different ROM.
A week ago, I flashed "Switch to OOS3_H2OSMMv7" zip and was able to flash Resurrection Remix, but today when I tried switching to CM13 or PA it gets stuck at flashing the ROM zip. I tried flashing the firmware zip again and flash the ROM, but to no avail. It won't flash any ROMs now, just stuck at recovery while flashing the zip.
I have a working fastboot and recovery mode though, so I'm trying to avoid flashing the entire factory image but that seems to be only option left. Does anyone have any clue as to why this is happening and how I can fix it?
Edit: Resurrection Remix gets installed fine, CM13 and PA still giving me issues.
Edit: I downloaded the latest version of CM13 and it works. Earlier I was using June 30 build which seems to have issues with the new firmware. I'll try out the new PA build to see if it fixes that too.
What error does your recovery gives?
Do you have Data Backup?

It does not show any error as it just looping while installing the zip. I have to force shut down the phone to exit it.

Yes, I am able to access my phone in both ADB and in fastboot modes.
After flashing Custom ROM, Wipe data, cache, d-cache and then reboot.
If still doesnt work try flashing another custom ROM. You can use adb-sideload to flash another zip in recovery mod.
Phone is Lenovo A6000, not plus. I installed multiple TWRPs, 3.1.0 and 2.9 something.
I even installed CWM, still couldn't boot to the recovery.
Now, I know how to flash with fastboot, and I know how to boot. Booting doesn't work at all, it says "booting" and never finishes.
Flashing says "okay" and I reboot, do a reboot to recovery, and I get put into bootloader/fastboot.
Any help? I just bought the phone today, no one messed with it.
Edit: Nevermind. CWM installed. How do I install TWRP, so it works? Also, forgot to mention that the phone has the latest stock rom, 4.4.4.
Edit#2: While trying to install "TWRP-3.1.0-Lenovo-A6000.img",
I got an error.
"Can't open /tmp/update.zip (bad)"

Edit#3: Same error with multiple TWRP images.
First of all the twrp 3.1.0 is meant for nougat roms. Since you are flashing that recovery on KitKat rom which it won't support. So first try updating phone to stock lollipop. Then flash twrp 2.8. then take a complete backup(most important) and save it on SD card. After that flash any rom you want. If you are flashing marshmallow or nougat rom then after flashing rom flash 3.1.0 twrp.
I have long ago (10 minutes after last edit) fixed the problem already by flashing stock firmware through some weird software, and then started updating to latest lollipop firmware, and then installed TWRP 3.1 and then installed RR android version 7.1.2. Since the dev ended the support I wanted to revert back to pure OOS, so I downlaoded the newest 5.1.5 zip and followed the instructions using the newest blu_spark twrp recovery but right after pressing the "flash" button I kept getting error 7, so I download the zip from a mirror link and I have also tried the newest version of codeworkx twrp, still error 7. Then I tried flashing the original stock recovery in order to flash the zip but it instantly threw me back to the zip selection menu, flashing the zip via adb sideload kept quitting at exactly 47%. At this point I was pretty frustrated, I flashed twrp codeworkx again and wiped EVERYTHING, which includes the system, data, cache, dalvik partitions and then I also did a format on the data partition, the point was that now I would have a clean phone only running twrp and I thought I could easily flash the newest zip now without any problems, NOPE, still error 7!!! Now I am stuck here, the stock recovery doesnt let me flash anything and I've tried 4 different versions of twrp recoverys and every single one gives me the same error, I even dug up an older version of OOS, I think it which I had running for a few weeks without any probles so I knew that the zip was not corrupted but same error
Now I had given up and wanted to restore the backup I did just in case anything goes wrong, well, restoring the backup fails when it tries to restore the data partition, so I unchecked everything except system, system image and recovery but it didnt work, now I am sitting here with my phone telling me that there's no OS installed. any advice?

Flashing newest oos doesn't always work l have had this sometime l have had to go back 3 oos versions then flash them in order to flash the latest release.
