Keep usb connected. Tahke out battery. Keep your thumb on the volume down button and put battery in. It may start its self, but if not push power button. Whait until you see the tri colour screen. On the white screen at the bottom it should come up with usb. OK now flash your rom.
Russ
the same proplem ???????
and i open nand 1.12 and select usb flasher and try to install rom
faild and say cannot find usb and i change usb the same prop
OK i see you are trying to flash WP7. When you put in Magldr 112 it shows a menu at the end with various options. Did you tab it down to numer 5 usb? and you have to push the phone button for it to intall usb...usb As once you see this, then its time to install LEO7
Go back and pull battery again as before and install magldr again.
i know this steps as u see i do this many time i go from android to w7 and go back to android and i want to go back w7
this prop is new
search for a stock hd2 rom on the stickies, dw the zip file, extract it, ull end up with an .exe file, using 7zip or winrar, locate that .exe file and treat it like a normal zip file, open it (yeah sounds wierd to open a .exe file with a program but believe it will work) ull se a blank folder and a bunch of files... locate the .nbh file inside it and copy it to a fat32 formated SD with this name: LEOIMG.NBH, instert microSD, enter boot loader (press vol dwn + power), if u've done it right, it will not enter to bootloader instead will load the nbh file and will promp u to press power button to update, do it and voila! Remember THIS METHOD WILL REMOVE HSPL FROM YOUR PHONE! but dont worry after flashing this, just hspl it again with cotulla's tool, reinstall desired Radio and then flash magdlr and wp7 as usual...
Calm down,
Do all from start,
Flash HSPL 2.08
Flash radio 2.15.50.*
Flash Magdlr 1.12
In MAGDLR menu go to USB flasher
Then flash WP7
Should work fine
plz lock at this prop
i guess i understand u and from where i can find this rom
can u add link for me
will i do all steps but before i go can u tell me what is
just hspl it again with cotulla's tool
and from where i can find cotulla's tool
Magldr IS Cotulla's tool...
now i complet the w 6.5 go back
and spl is 1.42.0000
but the same prop stell
i cant use apl or radio
Go to this thread and follow instructions: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=609477
Russ
thank u but stil the prop ????????????????????
any help plzzzzz
On a side note please title your topics descriptively. Putting "help please" is not descriptive of the topic "subject"
ok my proplem is :
1- i cannot install asl 2.8
2- i cannot mglder 1.12 or 1.11
3- i cannot upgrade radio
4-i cannot use hpsl 2 or 3
5- all this prop has one link the program cannot find my device on bootloader however the device found by computer
note:i remove the asl from phone and install the basic rom 6.5 but this prop founded before i remove it

do you have HardSPL 2.08 ??? because in magldr thread it is written as required
1. Wrong section -> There's a Magldr topic, search for it.
2. First read, then act?
Have you installed a rom yet? Does the phone boot to Magldr? A little more info is useful..
Booting into bootloader via: turn on the phone, hold volume down key while booting
Booting into Magldr: turn on the phone and keep the power button pressed down untill Magldr comes up.
Not sure...
Its possilbe that i didn´t update it to 2.08. I think i have got 1.42 but im not sure. If I only could connect my phone to my laptop...

Can you get to 3 color screen where it writes hspl version etc. ?? if yes try to install HSPL 2.08 and then the magldr
I have got 1.42. (i think that the problem! Im able to get in the boot loader but not to MAGLDR . I dont hava a NAND version of andird on my phone but i have got a Windows moble rom on it. Is there a possiblity to bot the WM throgh the bootloader that would be all i need!
im able to get in the bootloader (3 colourd screen) but how should I be able to install a new HSPL without a connection to my Mobile device center?
Do it within this way:
1. Make sure you have HSPL 2.08 installed
2. Install TASK29. If you need it search for this.
3. Install "RUU_Leo_S_HTC_WWE_3.14.405.2_Radio_15.42.50.11U_2.15.50.14_LEO_S_Ship.exe" on your device. Do some settings within Windows and SHUTDOWN!!!
4. Press VOL-Down and press POWER ON until you will see the flash boot screen.
5. Now install MAGLDR 1.13 (v. 250MB Edition)
6. IF THIS FAILS - install Windows AGAIN and after all install MAGLDR 1.13 WITHOUT Task29.
Yesterday I have done a complete reset. Installed my O2 firmware and replaced my original bootblock. After all I have had the same problem that MAGLDR won't install on this device. I have tried it with 1.12 and 1.13. NOTHING, device boot until the WHITE HTC logo and nothing more. But ANDROID was installed bevore.
After that procedure I was able to flash MAGLDR 1.13 again.
thanks for your help imm try to do anything you have told me! I flashed HSPL 2.08 and Magldr also started. Thankl so much for your Help. Now i will try to install DiserZ andrid rom!
How is it possible to boot windows with MAGLDR? and how is it possible to remove MAGLDR?
If you want boot WINDOWS ONLY: you don't need MAGLDR.
If you want to delete MAGLDR: just use Task29 ROM.
If you want restore all to default:
1. Download your ORIGINAL ROM from your Provider or HTC.
2. Use 7zip and unpack the EXE file.
3. Search the file "RUU_signed.nbh" and rename it to "leoimg.nbh".
4. Format your SD Card with FAT32 format
5. Copy the "leoimg.nbh" to the SDCARD.
6. Insert Card into your device.
Now search the RESET button right next to the SDCARD slot on the back of your device:
7. Press the RESET button AND VOL-Down and when you see within the display "LOADING..." RELEASE both immediately and follow the instructions on the screen. It might be that you need 2 or 3 times until you got it
!!!! EVERYTHING !!! on your device will be erased after all. If you get an error that you are not able to flash "...bla, bla, bla..." don't cry - just download your OFFICIAL ROM by device serial number on the HTC website.
Unpack this EXE (again), rename the *.nb0 file and just do it again.
I am trying to re-flash WIN6.5 with no luck
1. I installed HSPL2.8 and MAGDLR 1.13 with the hope of trying CWM and loading Android to NAND.
2. I used ClockworkMod Recovery to install zip from SDCard using TyphooN_CM7_v2.8.0-cLK.zip
3. Progress looked like install was completed
4. When re-booting, got message NAND Kernel open failed
I TRIED TO REFLASH MY WIN6.5 from the RED/GREEN/BLUE bootloader menu but now I do not get a valid connection via USB
The Bootloader screen shows 'USB' at the bottom and when I click the Custom_RUU.exe I used to load my Custom Win6.5 ROM I get the first screen showing the update button etc. but when I press update, the progress bar appears on the PC and my HD2 but no update actually occurs
FINALLY AFTER A FEW MINUTES I GET A 'RECOVERY SCREEN' and update failed message.
CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP???? I will gladly 'Donate' some beer money
when you turn on your phone hold the red power button until the magldr screen pops up then go to flash to usb then download the stock rom for win 6.5 it should be in the win6.5 development threads on XDA the rom should be a .exe file, run the file once u establish a usb connection with the computer. if you can't get on the magldr screen, try going to the boot screen ( the one with the color stripes) and re-flash your magldr or the hspl4. as long as you can get into the magldr boot screen then you should be able to flash android or winmo. hope that helps.

This couldn't be more wrong lol. You can't flash WinMo ROM's from MAGLDR, only WP7 and Android.
Anyway why don't you just try flash a different Android ROM? Even one that has a daf and not a .zip that you have through CWM.
If you do want to go back to stock though, download your stock ROM from the HTC site or T-mobile depending on which phone you have (T-mobile say t-mobile at the top and has red and green call/end buttons). Then once you've downloaded it, rename the file to .zip (should be .exe by default) then using WinRar open the file and look for a file that ends with '.nbh' in WinRar. Once you've found that file just extract it to wherever you want and rename it to 'LEOIMG.nbh'. Once you've done that, place it on the root of your SD card, then POP your SD card back in to your HD2, boot to HSPL (tri colour) and you'll come to a screen which will allow you to flash the ROM from SD and you're done.
PS. you need a 4GB or smaller SD card to flash it.
Good luck.

WOW!! for a newbie, u sure know how to go for d big guns ...Anyway according to your post, i tk it u downloaded the "TyphooN_CM7_v2.8.0-cLK.zip" file ryt?...Well in [cLK/MAGLDR]TyphooN CyanogenMod 7 RC2+ v2.8.4's thread, it tells you there are two ways to install this particular build...I'm guessing u tried installing the "TyphooN_CM7_v2.8.0-cLK.zip" thru MAGLDR-CWM instead of following Charmacas's cLk tutorial.
So in d spirit of learning, Start d whole process again (Task 29, etc), go back to the build's thread (link above), choose which method is most comfortable 2 u ( i recommend MAGLDR) and re-download the latest & APPROPRIATE build for the process or just download from the links below....
MAGLDR Method.
cLK Method.
Nw abt reflashing WinMO, U've got HSPL installed so u r good...Just perform a Task 29 (dis wipes ur phone clean, leaving ur HSPL & radio intact) from the bootloader screen...Should usb fail? unplug n try another usb port on your pc...Then simply flash ur desired WinMo ROM.
This my friend is what happens when dev's instructions are not followed...Do read, understand n be more careful nxt time...Donate to the devs if i helped u.
All done !

Is there anyone willing to help me about instaling NAND android ?
Specific this one
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=18313782
.
I have HSPL4 and thats everything i know. If there is anyone willing to help me step by step i would apreciate it cause i fail everytime I try. Thanks
The steps are on the first post of that page:
MAGLDR Install Manual:
•Download archive with the MAGLDR loader and Recovery from here than unpack its content.
•Connect PDA in bootloader mode ("mattress") and run LeoAdvancedRUU.exe from MAGLDR folder
•Wait for PDA reboot and clamp a key "Power". Connect PDA with cable to PC
•Install the driver if the PC doesn't see a PDA connected (download from here)
•Wait for PDA reboot and get to the MAGLDR menu . Choose point “USB Flasher” by arrows and press the call button "Green button"
•Run DAF.exe from MAGLDR_Recovery folder
•Wait for PDA reboot and get to the MAGLDR menu . Choose point “AD Recovery” by arrows and press the call button "Green button"
•Choose point "Install zip from sdcard" by arrows and next "Choose zip from sdcard", choose our archive with firmware (the firmware should be thrown preliminary on a sdcard) and press a call button "Green button"
•After the installation finishes get to the menu again. Press a key "Back" and choose point "Reboot system now".
•The PDA will reboot and the Android will be started. The first start a bit longer then usual
If you've already installed Magldr and recovery, then all you have to do is get the .zip for your Android build onto your SD card and then follow the rest of the steps above to install zip from sdcard.
It's a remarkably easy process.
I enter boot mode pressing down when powering ? will there be any problem cause i have HSPL4. Friend told me its not possible to do with HSPL4
I did the thing with advanced leo ruu and now its stuck on white HTC screen on power on :S

Reflashing factory ROM won't change HSPL. A quick search shows that you need to go back to stock SPL, then up to HSPL 2.08
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=611433
4) Uninstallation
Only way to remove the HSPL is to flash an original SPL from SD card.
- Take any "RUU_signed.nbh" from a ship ROM and copy it to SD card.
- Rename it to "leoimg.nbh"
- Reset the device while pressing the volume down button.
That thread is actually a good place to post your problem, since it's still quite active and SPL/HSPL are in the way of you getting things flashed correctly.
It's possible to flash HPL 2.08 without uninstalling 3.03.
I've already tried it without any problem
Do u have skype msn or any familirar stuff ? I would like to have u online when I try to do that ?
Sorry, I don't have any hands-on experience with what you need to do. I only know the concept. :\
I'm trying reinstall WM6.5 on my HTC HD2 from MAGLDR V1.13.
I've downloaded the stock rom from HTC website and im trying run the installer but it fails it cant seem to pick up my phone as a USB connection.
I tried the bootloader way but it always get stuck at the installation part at 0%.
what am i? doing wrong, its driving me mad..
SPL version is SPL-2.08.0000
Make sure you’ve got more than 50% power on the device.
• Unplug USB cable
• Power Off device.
• Press and hold volume down button and press power button to start again.
• You will be presented with a tricolor splash screen.
• Connect USB cable to PC
• On the Tricolor splash screen you see “serial”; change to “usb”, if not unplug and plug the cable back in.
• As Administrator Run the WM6.5 ROM Update and follow instructions, your device should now be flashed with WM6.5.

I'd suggest task 29 to wipe the phone completly. Then make sure you have the correct stock rom for your phone. EG if you bought a EURO o2 HD2 then you need to have the o2 3.14 stock rom. Extract the .nbh file from the .exe.
Use SD Formatter to format your SD card, this will wipe all windows 7 partitions.
Then copy .nbh file and place it on the sd card, then boot into boot loader (tri colour screen) and follow on screen instructions. A grey screen should appear at this point.
This will remove Hard spl and restore WM 6.5 and also restore the first of the two splash screens and the radio back to factory settings and will also restore your warrently as well.

No but it is all over XDA. I think you'll find it someware on the WM 6.5 thread. If that doesn't work your nand will be stuffed but it has allways worked for me!

Yes, even i suggest you the "flash via micro sd card" method becoz it works in worst cases. and follow all the steps sequencely. good luck
Task29 gives an error 290 and doesn't complete.
Im getting frustrated... What can i do next
task 29 now wipes my phone but everytime i flash a new rom is crashes at 9% or 10% and then i get the error 290.
i downloaded the stock rom for my phone... argggh what can be done?
thanks

cannot believe i messed it up.......
know where i can send it for repair? will HTC cover it under warranty? will they be suspicious?
anyone? do i need to ring my phone contract people or go directly to HTC?
Thanks
Depends how old it is. It may need to go directly to HTC to get it fixed.
I read somewhere that error [290]: Invalid Command - the ROM Update Utility has encountered communication errors during the update process.
Try changing the usb cable/connect directly to usb port (not usb hub) if you still want to use usb for flashing.
I always use the sdcard method when there's a problem flashing via usb. Rename RUU_signed.nbh (extract from stock rom exe package) to LEOIMG.nbh and copy the file to sdcard (sdcard MUST be formatted as FAT32 - use HP format tool). Put sdcard into the phone and boot into bootloader mode ... see if it works ...

and over SD every try hang with "Errormessage 18003 and Radio_V2 - Fail
LEOIMG.nbh - FAIL
Update Terminate
UPDATE FAIL
You didn't brick it man. Just flash CLK or MAGLDR.
I tried DFT_LEO_MAGLDR113_DAF and it gone 100% but after it I got the Error [270] File is Corrupt over USB.
Try to install MAGLDR over HD2 Toolkit, but hang on 0 %
Try to install CLW over HD2 Toolkit, it gone 100% but after it I got the Error [270] File is Corrupt
Try to install MAGLDR over SD with renameing magdlr.nbh to leoimg.nbh
Update Success but still white screen.. try to open phone with holding power key to enter magdlr menu no sucess - still white screen
You didn't brick you phone. The only serious brick is when you turn on the phone and it vibrates about three of four times. If that's not the problem, i'm sure that you just did someting wrong.
What i suggest is to read the steps in the link very well:

Be aware of the following things;
1. Flash hspl 2, when u use vista: richt click on 'Run as administrator'!! and continue to the screen (make sure phone is connected with a good cable)
2. Flash radio, also run as administrator
3. Make sure you use task 29, Hold volume down and press power button. Wait till you see USB. Then you can flash task 29
4. Use MAGLDR, use volume down and press power button. Flash it (don't forget run as administrator or else you get an error!!
5. Flash CWM via usb flasher (Use the right partition size)
6. Clean SD card with panasonic sd-formatter.
7. Put rom on sdcard and install rom via CWM.
Goodluck!

First things first- wrong forum. You have higher chances of getting help in the Q&A section.
Coming to your issue, check if you have a proper USB cable. Most of your error seems to be related to corrupt images, USB cable could be the culprit.
Next, use a different port and reinstall WMDC/ ADB drivers (install them first)
Finally, redownload task29, magldr or cLK images just in case. Use a SD Card that is less than 8GB in size, formatting it in windows with default cluster size.
As long as you are able to get your phone to boot to the tricolour screen, you have not bricked it.

trying it on other computer with a good cable.maybe it's your laptop has something wrong.
try the goldcard method (you cannot generate it for free anymore, but you can google for a good one searching the CID for your sd, try several sd until you will find an sd with a know CID and a goldcard image ready to download for your CID) [try with sandisk/kingstone 2gb, goldcard is not supported with SDHC like 16gb one], and flash from sd in bootloader the nbh image extracted from wwe RUU (you will find *.nbh image under temp folders when you run *RUU*.exe)
maybe with goldcard you can force radio flashing
also try mtty and some tasks (like 2a if i remember well) that try to repair your bad blocks
if you can't solve with these 2 method, sell it on ebay and buy a new one for the same price
The official roms can be extracted with winrar, extract it and copy RUU_signed.nbh to the root of your sd card. Insert the sd and boot it holding volume down and when entered bootloader press volume up. Now it should put it back to WinMo. Then Flash HSPL and Magldr.

Task29 ve HSPL 3 araçlarını tekrar indir. Belki sorun onlardadır.
Download Task29 and HSPL 3 again, the problem may belong them.
