1.Additional Note: It has been brought to our attention that some users flash TEST ROMs and ask support for third party apps. This UNOFFICIAL ROM is still under development and you can't expect support from it. If you can't afford to have a buggy phone, this is not for you. By flashing this TEST ROM, it means you are willing to take the risks, solve any bugs encountered yourself and report problems to this forum.
2.Ensure your HD is unlocked and have flashed latest HSPL/USPL required before flashing this ROM
HOW TO REPORT A PROBLEM:
1. INDICATE ROM VERSION
2. DEVICE AGE
3. SOFTWARE INSTALLED (STATE THE SEQUENCE)
4. STATE THE PROBLEM
5. HOW TO ARRIVE AT THE PROBLEM (SCREEN SHOTS WOULD HELP)
6. IF SOLUTION IS FOUND, PLEASE SHARE

Certainly bigE,
Glad to you see you here as well man!!!! The good old Trinity days
Flashmore,
Just tested your rom very quickly, it's fast and stable so far and just few minor issues:
1. Start > Settings > Input is not available. You can activate it by deleting "Redirect" under HKLM > ControlPanel > Input
2. Connection Setup opens and shuts down - so I can't set it up.
Another thing, do you know if we can increase the number of 'shortcuts' in the home screen from 9 to 20?
i'm using ur rom right now and i think that thus far it's quite stable, (for the 45 mins i've been testing it)but it seems to be quite slow (dont know y)...i'll provide some more feedback later. thanks alot

I just realised why its a little slow.
Added a link to PagePool Changer on the first page, increase to desired limit, please note V2.2b is set to 26MB.
Uploading new ROM with increased PP, for those who already downloaded it is very easy to use the PagePool Changer tool.
Here's a cab fix for Connection Setup for those who have already downloaded.
EDIT: ROM fix update in first post.
ATTN:
Pre-release testers wanted, PM me for more info.

Flash, thank you man very very nice ROM, applied your cab and everything is ok, fast and stable.
Flashmore,
You moved from Blackstone to Leo ;o)
One question, which BT stack is in your ROM? MS or Widcomm?
As stated in your signature, I got an HD2 ROM addiction. But to make me keeping you as my doctor, it is gonna be tough as XannyTech's ROM are really addictive too because of their speed.
Thank you for your hard work.

2 - Have u added a manila doc tab in u new v2.2?

Flashmore, I have been using your HD roms, and has been loving as they are stable and fast. Looks like you have done it again for the HD2!
I have tried a handful of HD2 ROMS (WM6.5.x series) since the availability of SSPL and now HardSPL, and had experienced system freezes and even device auto-hardsetting.
I have started using your rom since v1.1, and now v2.2, and I have yet to experience any freezes or auto-hardsetting of my HD2. The auto-hardreset issue was really getting on my nerve and I became very paranoid about the hard-reset issue.
I have a suggestion though. It is possible for you to make set the band to default to Auto instead of the default GSM (2G)?
Anyway, keep up the great work, and I look forward to new updates from you!

Hi guys,
after a fresh reboot I always have between 50-55% cpu usage. How can I optimize this.
I used a ROM from Energy a few weeks ago and there I have only 42-47%.
I use WiMo 6.5 und built 21903. Also I use CHT 1.8.5
What can I do? New driver? New Built version?
Whta can you do?Ehmmm...using the "SEARCH" button would be the first thing to do.
Anyway i will post here for you some links that i find with 3 minutse of work:
These are for Memory request in this thread:

When I search on XDA, I always see that manny users flash their HD2 with a custom WM rom. (for maximum battery performance)
I've installed on my own HD2 also Android, and the only thing I have done is:
- Install HASPL3
- Replace the original Radio to 2.08
- Disabled the sense in homescreen WM (my original Rom is 1.66)
- Installed Core Droid V0.7
Every thing works great in this build.
When my phone is in suspend mode, my HD2 uses only 5mA.

[Sarcasm]Wow! Thank you for contributing to the development of Android for the HD2![/Sarcasm]
Yeah, I know updating to most recent official update is really android friendly and you don't need to mess with hspl or anything, just drag and drop. Give it a few cycles and it's not that bad.although personally I have nrgz sencity cause I like the l look of the rom..

Hi
Is there a ROM Upgrade (ANDROID 2.1 or 2.2) for HTC TOUCH HD?
I know there are some files like haret.exe but i like to do it with this
program: rom update utility
( you can search it on google images)
I have upgrade my HTC TOUCH HD to htc touch hd with sense
and now i like to do that but than with android!
Is that possible????
Thanks a lot
and so sorry for my english !!
no, currently there is no complete stand alone nand android rom for the blackstone since it is not yet stable and many features are not working (like bluetooth or 3.5mm). but afaik it is being worked on so there might actually one day be a full android rom for the nand instead of the sd card.
Moved thread to android section

Hey,
I'm sry about my question (and my english, just got "school-english-skills" from Germany, a few years ago ), tried to do the search but found nothing I'm able to understand...
A good friend of mine has a HTC HD Touch (Blackstone?) and wants to flash a "stable" Android Version on it. I'm able to flash the HTC Magic, Wildfire, Desire & co. but I'm not able to understand what I've got to to, wich files I need and what I should do with that.
Could anyone help me ? Linked files that I need and a short instruction would be very very great !
(Please do me a favour and don't say something like "use search" and so on, I need to understand what I have to do with wich files )
Many thanks in advance
There is no flashable android rom for Blackstone yet
exactly. as of now, there is no android rom for the internal flash (nand) to replace the current windows mobile os. but there are still ways to get android working alongside winmo, by simply putting it on the sd card.
basically, what you need is a rom, haret and ts-calibration+startup.txt.
for the rom itself, there are dozens of different roms around this very forum section. look for the most recent ones and compare them by the features needed. some of them hardly have any support for the blackstone hardware, when it comes to camera, sound, BT, 3.5mm jack, calling... and are purely for fun and apps, some others are more suitable for everyday use. make sure to read a few posts of user feedback to get what you want.
most roms come with their own haret package (the winmo program to boot android), which, like the rom itself, needs to be extracted to the sd card root.
ts-calibration is the file needed to store the touch screen calibration, so you don't have to align it yourself, which can be tricky in android.
startup.txt stores the boot commands, which can be altered to your needs, have a look at a few of them and pick the best one (which seems difficult at first, but you can search any command in there to find out what it means). some come with overclocking or different values which can speed up or slow down the device, it set wrong.
and, to sum it all up, here is a tutorial thread describing the whole installation (well, copy) process:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=959831
it is not completely up to date, but you can use the same tutorial, the same haret, ts-calibration and startup for other, newer roms, like blazn 2.2.2 or whatever you want.
