I got raider's HD2ONE 1.2 CM6.1.1 for CWR rom running on this girl's HD2 i'm trying to impress but have only one problem now, and it's a big one. everything is working fine except for making calls, it will make funny noises when dialing and also cant hear the person on the other line. i've heard something about having the right radio but cant seem to find the thread. please someone help.

ok i get this issue everytime i install a new hero rom on my MT3G.
i will be trying to call someone and it will start ringing but then the audio gets cut off, orr it will complete the call and the audio gets cut off during the call. point is Audio gets cut off and i am unable to make proper calls. and sometimes my phone will even reboot when this happens.
i dont have this issue on the stock rom or cyanogens roms. So i know it has to do with the hero roms and not me or my phone.
I really love the hero roms but this problem makes it impossible for me to enjoy them.
someone please help me out.
*Edit: i had posted a thread about this a while back and found a hero rom that didnt give me this problem, JACxHEROSki-v1.7r2, but when i ventured on to other hero roms the problem occured once more.
Im swearing off Hero Roms until someone can figure out this problem, or until i start having Hero withdrawals lol

I just installed android 2.2 on my phone and everything so far is working great except for the phone calls.
When I am talking to someone they sound like a robot.....How can I fix this?

Try a different radio, you need 2.08.# or higher. I'm personally using 2.12.# and it works fine, albiet the calls are a bit quiet but quality is fine
dude you did even bother to read anything and it shows , you just ask the question that has been answered 1000 times over ....
Quick question, I have downloaded the froyo android for the hd2 and it runs really well. My sound and everything else runs fine. The problem i'm having is making phone calls. When i make a phone call, the person on the other end sounds really cluttered and scratchy and i can't make out anything they are saying. I'm posting this in hopes that someone can provide me with a solution to this problem. If there is something i need to do internally or something i need to download i'd appreciate any help. Thanks in advance.
Robot voice calling. Upgrade the radio to 2.12 and switch to a new ROM.

I have the mattc Leo sense build. I ran clrcd or w/e its called lol! I have audo on my speak and such. But when I make phone calls people can hear me, BUT I can only hear a outline of their voice. It's barely understandable. I have this problem my first attempt of android on the hd2, but I really wanna use this. Everything is great for this, but if I have to, I close the rom to make a call! but any fix would be greatly appreciated, I did some searching but found nothing. Thanx in advance

Have you tried flashing a different radio? Most of the time, your radio is the cause

I recently upgraded to ava froyo9 and it is a really nice rom beside one thing... very rarely when I make calls or when someone calls me I cant hear them. They can hear me fine, I just cant hear them. I tried to do some searching for this issue but could only find threads related to the phone having no sound at all.
Anyone know what the issue might be? When I upgraded to ava I did a device wipe, so it was a clean install.
