I just installed android 2.2 on my phone and everything so far is working great except for the phone calls.
When I am talking to someone they sound like a robot.....How can I fix this?

Try a different radio, you need 2.08.# or higher. I'm personally using 2.12.# and it works fine, albiet the calls are a bit quiet but quality is fine
dude you did even bother to read anything and it shows , you just ask the question that has been answered 1000 times over ....

Quick question, I have downloaded the froyo android for the hd2 and it runs really well. My sound and everything else runs fine. The problem i'm having is making phone calls. When i make a phone call, the person on the other end sounds really cluttered and scratchy and i can't make out anything they are saying. I'm posting this in hopes that someone can provide me with a solution to this problem. If there is something i need to do internally or something i need to download i'd appreciate any help. Thanks in advance.
Robot voice calling. Upgrade the radio to 2.12 and switch to a new ROM.

I got raider's HD2ONE 1.2 CM6.1.1 for CWR rom running on this girl's HD2 i'm trying to impress but have only one problem now, and it's a big one. everything is working fine except for making calls, it will make funny noises when dialing and also cant hear the person on the other line. i've heard something about having the right radio but cant seem to find the thread. please someone help.

maybe anyone can help me, since i installed android. Its been a long time btw but i got some problems when i get calls or want to call someone. Sometimes everything works quite well. But sometimes, when i pick up or the other persons picks ups, after a few seconds the call interrupts with wired sounds.
I dont know why, got somebody else similiar problems? or does anybody know a solution to fix this issue?

Yeah sounds a bit like a robot voice^^ its also a loud scratching noise.
I forgott to post my specs
its a hd2 eu version
I tried to update radio version to 2.15.50.14 wasn't sure that i used the latest version.
slim ics 4.2 with mount2sd
Don't know much about the issue. Try fixing permissions.
If that does not work Google robot voice!!

The radio is the latest version. Flash it.
And disable dial tones of your rom. they should be in settings somewhere

Yeah i updated it yesterday. I'll see wether the problem is still remaining. Dial tones are off. This is the first thing i did. Hate those sounds
But my question is, did somebody else got those problems? I searched forum and found only one thread, but there was also no solution for it.

Okay, i googled "robot voice" didnt know that this problem was called like that. Like i wrote ill wait wether the problem with the new radio rom is still remaining. I have to wait a few days and chech it.

Firstly poloche thank very much for the WP7.8 Nokia v2 rom. Been using it for a while and i'm generally quite like it, in fact I love it.
I'm having a problem with my phone, Omnia 7, but im not sure its the rom.
The issue is that my phone has a good connection. Data works fine however, sometimes calls dont come through despite having a good signal.
i.e. data is working fine... but people who call me the call goes to voicemail and when i try to make an outgoing call its just dead silent and shows that it is trying to connect...
I tried restarting when this phenomenon occurred once and that didnt work. I took the battery out and restarted and that seemed to do the trick...
But this is just an anecdotal example...
I dont know if this is my network O2 Germany or the rom....
I'd really appreciate help on this. I love the rom. it looks great... just my phone is being a bit funny...

I know there are plenty programs that can record calls, but I was never lucky to find any that would work properly on my Defy.
I'm running Quarx's CM11. Is there any that you know it works properly with it?
I need this as I'm having a problem with a bank. They are harassing me via telephone, and I'm in the edge of suing them for the original problem itself, and this too. So having the calls recorded would be quite useful as proofs.

I wasn't using it 'cause I tried it a couple years ago with CM7, and didn't quite work =/ Actually it lagged the phone badly.
But this time, works flawlessly. And it's not intrusive at all as other free programs, which pops dialogues, notifications.. This one is discrete.
