Hello All,
Not only am i new to this forum but a novice on the phone i have just purchased the Samsung GT-i9000, its great and i have no problems with it but i wandered is it possible to get rid of the t-mobile boot screen. My thanks in advance.
Regards David
If you can't use the SEARCH option, I highly doubt that you will be able to change your boot animation.
+ thread started in the wrong section
+ stupid name of the thread itself
t-mobile boot screen
You have Tmobile branded firmware yes you can change it but it means you put unauthorized firmware on and may invalidate your warranty .
To go further you need to read and understand the faqs posted or be happy with a bricked phone .

MOD EDIT
Changed to more suitable attitude & language
Please try and be patient. You may find that no one has answered your query for a number of reasons.
1. They do not know answer
2. Question has been asked many times before and they believe you should search instead of asking query.
Either way, try and respect your fellow members and keep your attitude and language in check

id like to debrand my Samsung Galaxy S II its full of t-mobile junk
so if someone could help me
many thanks matt
Well I don't know what it means, but I'm guessing you want to get rid of T-mobile's applications? You have a few choices ranging from rooting the phone to installing a custom rom, or (my personal fav/recommendation) Cyanogenmod. I don't know of any that won't void your warranty though.
hi thanks for the reply yes it has a tmobile wall paper and tone on start up id like to get rid of
Just flash an open firmware with odin. -> branding gone
... and you realise this is in the wrong forum, right?

Hi all!
First, I apologize if this post is not on the right place. I am new, but I am in a hurry...I am desperate!
I really hope you can help me.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 (GT-I9506). It is purchased in Norway.
I rooted it a while ago and I didn't backup the orig. ROM (loong story... yes, I know it was stupid)
Now I really need to un-root it and get it back to its original state so that it will pass the checkpoint of the service repair shop.
I need a NORDIC ROM (and also a PIT-file) for the I9506, please.
I HAVE searched the XDA site vigorously, but nothing that works for I9506, only 9505.
Please help me to fix my problem, kind sir's
Hello friends,
First, I apologize if I violate any of the forum rules or i don't speak correctly.
Because I have an older experience with phones, their operating systems and their moods, a friend of mine has asked me to fix his S8. Before I acted in any way, I thought to ask here, on the forum, what's going on with this phone and how I should repair it. He told me that the phone needs a new rom . I don't know anything about this phone. I've never had a model like this.
And yes, the screen is very damaged.
So, what do u think guys? What shoud I do ?
Here are 2 pictures of what appears on the screen. I have not managed to upload them directly to the forum
