2nd led on the evo hidden - Android Software Development

I installed the miui rom last night and discovered a second LED opposite the normal one. Any devs aware of this? I think it's pretty interesting that there is another LED on the EVO that is not being used.

On the front of the phone? Check out wimax notifier...it uses this led for text message notifications.

I've been using Wimax notifier for some time, I just wish you can get those LED's to work when receiving email.

On the miui rom it works with emails also.

[Q] MMS wont auto retreive

I moved to a HTC EVO from a Palm Pre. Love it.
The only problem is when a MMS comes in, I have to hit "DOWNLOAD" to view the pic while on the Pre it would automatically show up.
I have AUTO RETRIEVE checked and Im on the stock android app.
Anyone know how to have it auto retrieve for real?
Thanks
Same problem

[Q] Quick Reply

Anyone know of a way to turn off the 'Quick Reply' dialog that opens for incoming sms? I use Handcent, so I never use it.

Powerbar on notification bar

Try power control plus. Works well until a rom comes out with them
This should be on the second version of Obsidian, 2.0.2, that should be coming out sometime soon.

Power control plus is EXACTLY what I wanted. Best 2$ spent on market. Thank you so much. For real.

If you're talking about the led on top of the phone no I haven't. I'm using gosms and Gmail and I haven't had any problems. What is happening with yours?
My light does not work either on handcent or gmail
