Is a battery/charging fix in the works? - HD2 Windows Phone 7 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting an

Wondering if anyone knows.
I've heard that a new MAGLDR would fix battery issues, but I wasn't sure if it would help extend battery life, or if it would just fix charging issues.
Anyone with inside knowledge know ?

[Q] Battery Percentage Reporting Issue

So it seems like I have a defective battery but I wanted to ask if anyone else has experienced similar issues that may lead me to believe that this could be a software issue.
After unplugging my phone from a full charge it takes approximately 2 hours for the battery to report anything other than 100%. And when it does change it drops all the way to 80%. Nothing in between just a sharp drop. Sometimes I even see the battery gain new life and the percentage increases.
I am using the extended control widget to monitor my battery, but even the battery panelin the settings menu reports the same. I have played around a bit with temp rooting my phone, but these issues pre-date my first attempts, so I'm fairly sure that isn't the cause.
So before I call HTC or T-Mobile to get a new battery, has anyone else had the same issues with their G2?
I don't think its a defective battery. I, and I think almost everyone here, have same the issue.

System reports wrong battery technology. FIX?

Android reports that I have Li-Ion battery when OnePlus 2 has Li-Po battery. This problem has been with me for quite some time. I've changed ROMs and kernels, reseted the whole phone from TWRP but issue remains. I remember many months ago I did one of those battery calibrations with root. Question remains how do I fix this. I think it's relevant because it probably affects how my phone handles the battery and might use wrong voltage safe limits and or something similar. Anybody else had the problem?

Overheating LG G2 D802

Hello, I have a problem with my phone for a while, it overheats a lot, and the battery is empty in 1 hour, I noticed that I have also since a problem with the WIFi (no longer works) I replaced the battery , changed rom, always the same, someone would have a solution.
If not how to disable the reception in wifi (hardware) I think my phone is still looking for network and this could explain the overheating and fast emptying of the battery
Thank you for your comments and solutions
Nobody has any suggestions to make to me?
I have faced the same issue before. It seems that it was caused by overheating. There is no way for me to fix the problem. There was a post talking about the overheating issue which caused broken wifi.
You may have a look on the link below. It gives some solutions for repairing the wifi but they don't work for me. Hope it will help you.

The drainage of battery is caused by the wifi keeping switching on and off, which also causing overheat. If the solutions don't work for you, the only way is replacing the motherboard.
