problem when after installing any kernal? - Fascinate General

MY music player tends to have static now and makes some noise when i play any music... no matter what player i use... i have DL09

Use set cpu to bump up your minimum clock speed to at least 200Mhz, should fix your issue...

Issue with voodoo

While using my 3.5mm jack to play pandora and I have voodoo installed my notifications and call ringtone are very quiet compared to music and navigation volumes. Is there any way to raise notification volumes or is this how voodoo is coded?

What ROM are you running? I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess CM7?
Actually no. Srf1.2

Yeah, it's called going to settings and manually raising the volume in sounds.
Nice try. All volumes are maxed out. The issue is either with voodoo not raising notification volumes to match music and navigation volumes or its in the kernel when you plug in the 3.5mm

Also next time you should look at my post count. I've had this phone before you were wetting the bed.

I did confirm that while voodoo is on it boost music volume twice as much more than notification volume. So how do I get notification volume to equal music volume?

Lol, I've had my epic before I joined xda. What a sad thing to point out on your behalf, very low of you. Back on topic, no issues here using voodoo app instead of the built in kernel voodoo. Stock kernel of course.
Voodoo only boosts music volume, there's no way to boost notification/system volumes through the voodoo driver (currently). However, I was under the impression that music is paused when a notification is played on our phones and headphones are inserted (except on CM7, thank goodness). Is that not happening for you?
It does but issue is I stream pandora and I can't tell if its a notification or if pandora is buffering. Because the notification volumes and other volumes are half of what voodoo boost the music volume to.

Connected Music Player Randomly Starting

Hi all,
Ive flashed the UK Gingerbread ROM. However, when I've got headphones plugged in, my Connected Music Player will randomly start playing. This happens also when I unplug the headphones as well. I am using PowerAmp and am forced to add CMP to the Task Killer's auto end list.
If anyone can help that would be great.
(I've also did full reflash, wipe etc...maybe something wrong with ROM.)
thx!

are usually two crossed arrows indicating that the random is active.

IceColdSandwich 8.6 tearing during music playback.

Hey guys, I recently flashed my DHD with the 8.6 release. I've noticed some tearing in the music playback.
I've tried clearing the cache, and using other music players but the problem still exists.
The songs often tear at the same point during playback i.e. each song tears/buzzes at the same point every time it's played.
Any ideas?

Had this also, someone suggested here deleting all stock music apps (dsp manager and music players) and installing 3rd party player like AMP, havent tried it so no guarantees
Are you using the CFS kernel? This is a problem with it. Flash BFS kernel.
Sent from my Desire HD using xda premium
Ah yes, seems like there are problems with that kernel. Could you point me to a reliable source for the BFS kernel?

This is the link to all IceColdSandwich kernels from the second post of the thread. It's sorted by date, so the latest is on top. I don't know what the BFS TUNmodule and noDeathRay kernels are because I don't use the ROM. Read the last few pages of the thread and find out.

What rom are you using..a lot of them come with that feature built in. It's when I install a different player than the one provided I lose that functionality.
Nvm I notice it only works with Pandora not the stock music player.

Use another music playing app like mixzing
