Hi all,
Ive flashed the UK Gingerbread ROM. However, when I've got headphones plugged in, my Connected Music Player will randomly start playing. This happens also when I unplug the headphones as well. I am using PowerAmp and am forced to add CMP to the Task Killer's auto end list.
If anyone can help that would be great.
(I've also did full reflash, wipe etc...maybe something wrong with ROM.)
thx!

I've tried 2 custom rom syndicate frozen and midnight and I'm running into this problem where I would reboot my phone or turn off the bluetooth after that my phone would ask me to resync and pair. Why is this happening? Is there a fix for this at all. This never happens on stock rom.

If this has already been addressed I apologize. The stock music app won't recognize all my mp3s.I installed PowerAmp and it found them no problem. I really like the Samsung app but need a way to force it to find all my music. Help.

Restarting the phone would do the job..

Yeah, tried restarting, tried clearing media storage, even tried those media scan apps. Nothing works. Oh well, just keep using PowerAmp.

I know the music player and video player also use dlna like example you can connect to wifi and stream music and videos from another device via dlna
This is nuts, it takes the equivalent of two hours screen time... And I don't even use it!
So the only way to disable it is by purchasing titanium backup?

Strangely the same thing just popped up for me. I've had the phone a week and never noticed dlna when looking at my battery stats. Today the phone appeared to be using more battery and dlna was the top offender for battery usage.
The app will not stop, I've cleared data and cache, tried to force stop and it just won't. I'm really not sure what is using it.
I added a lockscreen widget for the quick remote app yesterday night. I've removed that to see if it was causing dlna to run more, it doesn't seem like it should but who knows.

I wasn't either, but just today it started. I finally got the DLNA process to stop, going to watch closely and see if it kicks back on again.
Hi,
Fresh new owner of the phone, I'm also concerned by the "bug" (if it can be called a bug) of the stuttering notification sound.
I did a quick fix of it, just by modifying the sound file and adding a blank in the begining of the sound.
You can find attached a modified "notification" sound that fix the stuttering for me.
To use it, copy the file in any place of the phone (I put it in root of sdcard) and then select it in notification sound menu, hit the quaver symbol in upper right corner and find it in the "Xperia" artist name, sound name should be "Notification_mod".
Enjoy
With the attachment.
Thanks, I use my own mp3 notifications, but just added a 'blank' to the beginning as you recommended and voila no stutter, lol

I just cut and appended less than a second of blank audio to the beginning of my chosen notification mp3 file.
I used an old version of sony soundforge i had on my desktop, but should be lots of free audio editing software available i imagine?

one thing though: the file you posted isn't silent at the start - it's like an echo in reverse. i thought it was a bug - like the phone was doing something weird playing two notifications...
anyway i made my own and it works great cheers man
Just tried it out, great idea thanks.
