I have just installed milana cookies home screen, and unstatisfied with it, i decided to uninstall just after i installed it. obviosly this required a soft restart, after it HTC Sense will not load, i cannot access my the home screen as the message 'htc sense is loading is always there, after s while, it says 'htc sense failed to launch, tap here to retry, if i do nothing happens, i can open the Windows menu, that's it
any ideas?

I have had similar problem once before and the solution was to re-install everything. XDA_UC though came quite handy in that regard as it installed everything by itself and you don't have to do much.
Thanks to both of you, this is very annoying as I now have to re-install everything. After a while of searching, it turns out the easiest way to solve this issue is by hard reseting the phone.
dude, sometimes all files of cht are not uninstalled properly...simple way is to try reinstalling the cht ...it will remove cht completely........i hope i am not late

Thank you for that, I had tried though. When I tried to uninstall, HTC Sense did not load, so I had to re-install and then do a factory reset. It turned out fine, as all of my files are on the Micro SD anyway

I used to have the TF3D(With tha panel installer) cab installed on my Xperia and it worked fine.
I decided to give Manila HD cab a shot sence people were saying it was working faster.
I did a hard reset and installed the manila HD cab by itje, installed the panelinstaller but when I choose to start TF3D it keeps loading...
I've searched the forum but I can't find the answear.
I wonder if I'm supposed to install the cabs in a certain order for it to work...
Anyone who can help???

I was told just quit by clicking "panel" key, and re-select this panel. I haven't tried it, so let me know if it works.
I did try that...it didn't work. I did a soft reset as well but no luck...
I installed the Manila HD cab on my storage card by the way. I don't know if that can be the problem because I did the same thing on my TF3D and it worked fine...

I'm trying to install .cab files on my HD2 and none of them are working....
Have tried Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5, Co0kie's home tab 1.7 and CHTEditor 1.7
This started happening after I uninstalled Co0kie's home tab 1.5 so that I could install the latest verison.

I take it you're running the cabs from your mobile phone
is there an error message?
it could be that uninstalling CHT it left behind/deleted/corrupted some manila files and is having this effect
a hard reset would most likely fix this issue.
Just saying "xxxxx was not installed succesfully" for every .cab I try.
Have no idea how to fix it...

Mine does that sometimes, but when I soft reset, it works fine. I'm sure you tried this already, but just wanted to let you know your not alone..
Yeah thanks for the response man, I have tried to keep soft resetting and restarting.
Might just end up upgrading my ROM since I've been planning on for a while.
i had this happen from time to time as well when i was installing stuff. i always just hard reset to clear it since its just a weird problem and difficult to troubleshoot

Everytime I had this error it was a corrupted cab file, often happening when downloading them with opera mobile on the phone.

* I can see the labeled programs from the HTC sense but they cannot be activated.
* Whenever I reboot my HD2 it is giving me this error : Open of EnglishUS failed.
and it takes a very long time to boot up.
*Htc Sense is working (but very slowly).
I used a program called: Clear Temp I am suspicious that the problem started after this.

Put HSPL, Radio and flesh it to another ROM..(suggest ya ENERGY!)
Or do the hard reset if u dont want to ROM fleshing thing..

swype will be something to do with the failed language problem google it thats what i did

Before I post my question for help I would like to say I sincerely appreciate any help I can get
I've read the forums but can't find the answer to my problem so I hope you guys can help me out.
A few hours ago I installed dutty's task manager but it worked a bit too well. After a reboot Sense did not start.
I still have the Start Menu, the Phone and Contacts buttons and when I go to \Windows and click "Manilla", Sense is back when I close Explorer.
However, when I reboot my device, Sense is again not started and I have to move to \Windows etc again to get it running.
What I've tried:
- Soft reboot, several times
- Hard reboot (removing battery)
- copying the 'Manilla' file to \Windows\Startup
but that all doesn't seem to work. There's also a 'Manilla'-shortcut but when i click it, it does nothing.
How can I get Sense to run from the get go when I restart my device again?

Yes I did, that did not help the situation however. I still only get a nice background without Sense and Sense still only starts when I click the 'Manilla' file. Not when I reboot my HD2.
Settings->Personal->Today->Items->tick HTC Sense?

Hello kinda new to the HTC world. But wanted to ask for a lil help on my issue. I installed DINIK Anastasia - Clock - Tab 2.0 im using a stock rom. Now htc sense wont load up any idea? did a soft reset took out the battery uninstalled DINIK Anastasia - Clock - Tab 2.0 and soft reset again still no luck. i was just being a noob and downloading wat ever nice file i see and installing it with out reading the requierments =( sorry ....ty in advance for the help
The easiest answer is just to hard reset your device. Sure, it wipes everything out on your phone and reverts it back to how it was when you first turned it on, but it's an easy fix for when you break something major.

I don't know of any reason why that cab wouldn't be comptible with your phone, or wouldn't uninstall properly. Does it still show up in your remove programs list?

Nope it does not show on the program list , i uninstalled then did a soft reset but still my contacts still show that the cab is still installed on my phone. How do i revert my phone back to factory settings?

lol I'm not entirely sure what that means...but as long as you got it working one way or another it's all good
