hi every one
finally I could get android into my Hd2 thanks to serjio76. this is after Ive tried 2 different issues with failure. now the question is that all android issues are installed and loaded from SD card which make the system some what slower than WM 6.5. can any one develop and android which install and work directly from main memory of phone itself but not SD card. for example by bootloader installation method. that would be the perfect android for my openion
for all developers please help me with this problem

Any of them threads are from the "NAND" development. You really should read before you open a full new thread.

to make things clear... you can run winmo 6.5 which comes initially with your HD2 and put android on your SD card and load it from there, or you replace winmo with MAGldr and flash an android NAND to your HD2. Also, you can flash WM7 now to your HD2 with MAGldr... and and and...
Seems like you haven't looked around at all... so start reading!

If we don't understand then how can we help? From what you've written, it seems to me that you have Android on SD card but you want to remove Windows and have Android on your phone instead (not the SD).
Is this correct?
If it is then you have had your answer.

If this is not correct then you need to explain again, as we obviously don't understand.
I've a Huawei Ideos X5 (U8800) U8800V100R001C00B135SP01.
I've downloaded the U8800_Android 2.3 V100R001C00B526G001(Normal) update to Gingerbread.
I've unzipped it, formatted my sd card and copied the 'dload' map to the root of the sd card.
I have put the card in my mobile and start update with power + volume up AND down.
After 5 seconds (first step) it said Update failed.
What do I wrong?
I think that's for u8800 not pro one

Now about the GB(normal) i´ve troubles with that Shi* from huawei, because comes with several bugs. I advise you to use the Aurora Ics, research here in the forum. you will see that it is much faster and more fluid than the GB and support is much higher than the huawei.

yes!
Becouse i dont like to install beta versions from brands.
I tried the normal version but after a while began the bugs already reported by other users.
At this point I decided to stop using the official roms and I love that the DZO. It is sad a company be overridden by a user or more. Honestly Huawei is good for nothing in terms of support

If you can see the bootloader then you should install the original WM ROM either via Active sync/USB or over the sd card, follow link post #1 and go to point 3.

If you still have white lines..........then it seams to be a HW problem......

A buzzing sound followed by that? Must have been a hardware failure, there really isn't any other explanation. Does the same behaviour (striped screen) happen when in the bootloader? Have you considered that your phone may not be turning on simply because you've run it out of battery?

If it doesn't turn on nor bootloader I fear your phone has a major HW problem.
From your description it leads only to that conclusion.
I don't know where you live, as I'm currently in China and enough shops which can check the phone......I got also the touchscreen of my HD2 replaced.
Sorry no better idea how to get your HD2 back to life.

What is HW problem ?
From reading the thread posts, it seems you are having a MOBO (motherboard/mainboard) failure. And HW=Hardware as in physical pieces of the device. You might wanna try buying a mobo from somewhere ( i get my stuff from ebay) and try replacing the mobo. A main board averages around 50 bucks. Or you could buy my HD2 from me lol

Hello to all!!
I have this issue, for ever now. I think that it is not aurora's problem, because I have this one in almost every release, so I have come to think that it is either my sd's problem, or because I do not use any kernel. With DZO,s aurora, do you use any kernel? Or if you have any other suggestion, please help me..
Thank you.

Ok, I did second time the external. This time was even worst. 0.9!!! write and 7 read.
The internal was 7.0 MB/s write and 16.4 read, so I think that it is ok and the problem is at my external sd card, right?

I think I have the same problem you have with my Nexus S.
It doesn't completely not recognize my SIM card because I can make calls, but it can't draw my contacts from my SIM card
and it doesn't seem to draw some other information from my SIM card that makes it so that I can't have mobile data.
Flashing to another ROM has fixed this, so for now, I can conclude that it's just Slimkat.
You might get help faster if there is more info on the problem.
Good luck with your problem
