I used to have an evo and followed this thread to edit my lock screen and notification bar.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=801537
I found the same .xml file referenced in that post but can't find where it says T-Mobile. I also have been searching thru all the other xml's with no luck. I can't tell if the phone is dependent on service for it to display Tmo or not. In airplane mode it says (No Service) which I found in a AndroidManifest.xml. Either way, I cant find what would need edited. Was going to see if some other people could look into this and see what they find. Hope we can find an answer.
Thanks
G
That'll be nice!

Please post questions in Q&A section. Everyone please remember to click the "Report Post" button on the original post to have immediate action taken by the moderators. Also do not post in the thread itself telling the user that he made a mistake or broke a rule as it doesn't contribute to the thread and is unnecessary.
For everyone's information, the Report Post feature is the red triangle in the top-right corner of a post with the "!" inside of it.

How about putting this post in the "General" forum....
Warning!

Not able to thank from XDA app or Tapatalk but if you are on a browser and at XDA-developers.com then at the bottom of the post you want to thank, there is a THANKS QUOTE MULTI-QUOTE QUICK REPLY series of buttons.

Change your view of the site to the XDA 2010 version in the bottom right hand corner of the page. Then, you should see a thanks button next to the quote of posts like this one
i miss the old look of the site...
If you are using the xda app, the easiest way is to hit menu - browser. That will open the current thread in the browser, which has a thank button on the bottom of every post.
Don't forget the donate button. ;-)

Change it at the bottom right to XDA classic, and bam! Old site
I thought I read you had to have like 5 or 10 posts before you could use the thanks button.
Thanks, I see it now.
is this a free rep thread?
After post 1 thread, you will probably see that button.

You've been here for two years and this is your first post..... Congrats =]
P.s. I think this question was answered a while ago.... but at least you searched lmao
But what if I am really a newbie and nothing to share/ask as a thread?
There is no "thanks" button per se, so just start a new thread preferably in the development section saying "thanks" to your favorite dev. You can also do this when you are dis pleased. We sub genniuses like to call this a "no thanks" thread. We kmake these usually on Friday because because it starts with an f, witch is what you should be trying to imply, as in f.u.

If you are on tapatalk or xda app you have to switch to browser view to see it. It is right next to quote multi-quote quick reply buttons at the bottom of someone's post.

Yes, there's a whole section for themes.

No, he's not a hater, he's telling you to follow the rules. Three threads is just obnoxious.
And considering that you didn't give information about what rom you're running, we don't know what themes are compatible. People don't answer if you don't give enough information. If you're running Sense, try the Evo Themes and Apps section. If you're on AOSP, there's a ton in the Android Themes section. You have to pick something that is compatible with your rom.

1) If you were really trying to "get good themes", you should've looked for them yourself. That's why there are sections filled with them.
2) Being "new to this" is not an excuse. There are plenty of people "new to this" that are perfectly capable of finding their own information and following the rules.
3) I have no issues with "noobs", and I don't mind answering questions for people who are just getting started with a rooted Evo.
My issues lie with those that feel they're entitled and everything should be handed to them, or that the rules don't apply to them.
4) They aren't my rules, they're the forum rules. You should've read them when you became a member. Here's a few that you need to keep in mind:
Rule #1: Search before posting.
Rule #3: Post only using a clear subject and message.
Rule #5: Post a message only once.
5) I'll try really hard to remember to not read your posts, as I know that they'll most likely be a request for someone else to search for you. Unfortunately I try to help people out while I'm browsing the forums, so I'm sure I'll come across your posts again. When you have a legitimate question because you couldn't be bothered to read about what you were doing, I'll be happy to keep the answer to myself.
6) Being more specific is a great idea. People can't help you if you don't give them information. And thanks for the compliment, I like to think that I'm smart and it's nice to hear it from someone else. My self-esteem thanks you.

Hello All,
I have been using an old release of the Google Edition Port for my sprint s4. All has been mostly great.
I wanted to flash a mod to show my battery percentage but cant seem to find it.
I have been looking endlessly for a mod to get the CM10.1 battery percentage icon, someone posted it on the Google Port thread, but I cant find it on my own.
Does anyone know?
Thanks

I don't mean to be a jerk or anything, but you should really post this on the google edition thread rather than making a whole new thread for it.
Also, there's a search bar in every thread. Try and search for it in the thread rather than using the general search bar.

Sorry guys
New to the forums. Tried posting on the actual Google edition thread but said I wasn't authorized because Im a new user and it stated that I can only post in q and a section.
Also used the search function on a ton of threads and didn't find what I was looking for. Which lead me here.
