OK I've looked many places found different answers some do not work and yes I know I can flash all the improved Tom's etc.
Just wondering I rooted with z4root and flashed cwm with Odin then through rom manager and stayed stock otherwise; is there a way to hide or remove cement to get to ota?

Afaik, you'll have to flash the stock recovery and possibly the stock kernel through Odin. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Well I was trying to flash djo5. Well I flashed radio through Odin fine it worked my baseband is dj05. But when trying to flash Tom through cwr it wont mount my SD card unless I quickly pop it out and back UN the it wipes data an cashe then it installs fine I reboot then when it boots up everything fcs I end up having to restore nandroid. This is my first time flashing roms on fascinate as I come from moto devices,d1 and dx I wasn't noon at all with those but now it seems I am with Samsung devices. Any help will be appricated.

have you flashed a DJ05 ROM? Sounds like you haven't. You definitely need to have one if you are going to be using the DJ05 firmware.
I have flashed two roms the in in the instructions for going to dj05 and super clean dj05 both with same results

Would I need to just flash back to stock and try again.??

Works great. Now we wait for counter reset :-D and jkay mod (one in a million chance).
As for reason for failing to flash csc i reported in other thread.
If not flashing stock recovery, trying to keep team epic cwm, while doing it perfectly on international model with his cwm port, got the reply from Chainfire in a pm.
Basically he always packs stock recovery together with cwm in his releases.
Just wish someone releases temp cwm like we had on sgs2. Basically update.zip with spoofed signature.
That would also allow rooting without tripping a counter or flashing prerooted rom.

I am having problems with TWRP when I try to install stock roms
So I am thinking about going to CWM( a auto loki version) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2291956&highlight=cwm
Anyone succesfully flashing roms using CWM?
I've been using it and it works for me , although twrp did too.
Had major issues with twrp..like the UI but it let me down big time when I needed to restore. Had to Odin back to stock. No issues with CWM

complete newbie here, but I just flashed using TWRP and it worked great...
I too am confused as to which CWM to use. Any links for SGH-I337 that has Loki exploit already added and such?

So two diffent versions of cwm. Which one are people using. Isn't it better to have the auto Loki version?

I use ouhds auto Loki recovery by shabbypenguin
Sent from my WANAM'ED AT&T S4
wasn't 2.5.0.3 the only troublesome twrp--"2.5.0.2" works fine???
done some reading on the other cwm--not shabby's--it is linked in several places, requiring a lot of reading. But, came away with the impression it is still not fully auto "lokified" for us. May have come to the "wrong" conclusion though. It was late at night when reading threads. Would have to re-read everything--
OUDHS is currently the only CWM with the "auto-loki" feature. PhilZ touch cwm (AT&T version) has been lokied to allow for install, but it does not "auto-loki". The Loki-Doki script needs to be used if the kernel / ROM being flashed through it hasn't already been lokied.
Motorola device manager says that there are updates available for my razr m. I'm wary to update "OTA" because I dont want to loose root/bootloader.
I'm pretty happy with the stock ROM (still called motoblur?) Is there a stock rooted rom with all the radio updates and security stuff thats the latest version?
The only other android phone I had was a sprint HTC EVO. That phone it seemed would always have a stock rooted ROM based on the newest updates. Is that the case with the RAZR M?
Thanks for the help and any info that can be provided guys.
Love this phone =)

Yeah, take the update, you'll probably need stock recovery to do it, and then re-root or you can just flash one of these: http://batakang.com/ftp/?dir=devs/mhous33/XT907 . The first zip can be flashed in recovery and the other is for RSD. You'll need to root these too, but that's easy enough if you're unlocked.
Okay I have safe strap recovery 4.33 or something like that. Where can I download the stock recovery?
I seem to remember clockwork was able to hot swap recoveries. Would that be a good method for swapping to stock then back to safe strap?
Also, do I just download the OTA in zip form? If so, where can I find it at?
Sorry for all the questions and thanks to everyone helping me with this.

Yes.
For the life of me I can't figure out how to do that. I've nosed around everywhere in safestrap and can't find where to go to flash stock recovery. You have been a lot of help already man thank you.

Could you just fast boot it... fastboot flash recovery "filename"... like you would twrp.... I really have no idea...

Yeah, I haven't found a stock recovery.img that's flashable. Just flash the stock recovery.img in fastboot, exactly the same way you loaded up TWRP.
I took the ota with twrp installed and unlocked BL. It flashed and at the end twrp asked if I wanted to fix root, I selected yes and kept root. I was wary in doing it by reading the forums, afraid I was going to lose root, but it stayed. I'm now using stock ROM with arrrgh kernel and seeder. Its running extremely smooth.

I was cleaning up & deleted it. Fixed.
Where can I find arrggh kernal and seeder?
Okay so because of a previous response on this thread, I took the OTA. I had TWRP, root, and unlocked BL.
After the update, TWRP appears to be gone along with safestrap. I think my bootloader is still unlocked but I'm not sure how to tell.
Can someone please tell me how to get root back and how to get my customer recovery back? I am having such a hard time with this phone getting it to work properly. I remember with my EVO I had it down to a science but I've forgotten a lot of steps and many things have changed since then.
I need like a noob guide I think lol.
To reiterate, got latest OTA. My bootloader is still unlocked as far as I know. Need root and custom recovery back. Thanks XDA.
Next is flashing the arggh kernal and seeder I guess. First things first though.
Should have used voodoo. Now just fastboot cwmr img & flash UPDATESU both on my goodies page. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2327340
You can extract the img out of the zip.
I am rooted on a mdk build. I was previously rooted and had twrp custom recovery. Ran bunch of roms then kinda got tired of messing around and always having to do a full wipe in order to try different roms so I uprooted and went back to stock completely.
It hasn't been a week and I already decided to go back to root and throw on a different rom. I rooted again, but am having a lot of trouble installing twrp and clockwork recoveries.
When I try goomanager I come to the screen to install the recovery and I get a "webpage not available" every time. When I try to do it manually I get a fail message. I just don't understand what I'm doing wrong.
Through clockwork, I install the recovery, and it tells me that it was installed successfully. I try to access it and I get the Verizon error message saying that unauthorized software was found and to shut the phone off and bring it to nearest vzw, Yea Ok!
So I'm lost at this point, anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

Best way out of this.
Install CyanogenMod Installer on your desktop and plug your phone in. It will install cwm and custom rooted phone. As simple as that.
I did the same as you and this I found really easy and fast

Don't use goomamager. Try this. Sorry looked through your first post again.
Download a cwm recovery, go to recovery and flash it through there. If that doesn't work then see if you can find a 'flashable in Odin' ROM that confess with CWM that comes with it. Try that. That will definitely work.

I would have done that but when I try and get in the stock recovery, I get the Verizon error messaging saying unsupported software. I can't get into stock recovery at all.

Odin the stock firmware and start all over. Root, then use rom manager or goo manager to put in the custom recovery. Then get rid of the manager.
