my weather has stopped updating

I have never had any problems with weather updates on my homescreen until today! My homescreen has stopped displaying a min and max temperature and weather animation and only indicates my current location(rochdale). Is this just a temporary glitch or is there any fix for this. Anyone experienced this?

Same here in Orlando, Florida. The only way I can get my local weather is to drag the widget to the bottom left (Press and hold until you can move it, and then to the "edit" button), and then enter and select my actual city. The funny thing is if I click on where the sun would be I can get to the weather screen, and if I scroll to other cities, they all show correctly. Hmmmm

Lol very weird, my friend text me and said is my weather widget working because his isn't. We both have the Desire HD. I thought it was just a problem with our area's weather because when I click the widget and scroll to another location, it comes up with the clouds and sun, but for me and my friends location, nothing.

I think there's a bug in the widget. I'm assuming that everyone here is using the (current) location and seeing the problem with that. I've got two other locations on the weather list and viewing them the weather displays normally. Adding my location manually also shows the weather normally. If the service was down it would be affecting all locations instead of just the (current) version.
If this is a bug that means that both the HTC Weather and the HTC News widget have issues... how can they have introduced so many bugs between the last Sense UI phone and the DHD?!

Problem for me is that I can do "current location" and it shows my city and temp....but if I try doing it manually, my city can't be located!

[Q] how to install a single home screen app with 2 different names?

hello,
i wanted to have two different homescreen setup for my x10 . so i wanted to install the same version of my homescreen app twice but off-course with different name , so that i can switch to other setup when i wish.
so how can we do this? what needs to be changed in the apk file?
AND PLS I DO KNOW I GET MANY HOMESCREENS OPTIONS IN HOME APP. AND I JUST WANT THIS HOMESCREEN REPLACEMENT APP (DONT WANT ANY OTHER HOME APP)
i am trying to change the name of the free version of adw .

You have to change the package name in the source. As adw is open source you can do it, but it's a big work

[Q] Problem in Home widget

Dear Frnds
When i install any application which enable to creat home widget (Like Sense analog clock)
after some days this clock not shown in my home widget but it is still instaled in my phone
this is solve when i reinstall this ....

Do you move the app to the sd card..? Widgets work only when they are in the internal memory..

Any widgets which show carrier name ?

Are there any widgets which show the carrier name ? ( Normally on the stock lock screen there is something that says if you have service or no service ) , now using widget locker so widget locker doesnt show that ...

I'm pretty sure you can set your Carrier name on lockscreen using widgetlocker, been here and did it.
Just dig in options.

Check out the app called Phono in the Market. Perhaps that will do what you are looking for
