Anything that has high graphics and sound, why would you want to drain battery?

I am guessing he wants to drain the battery so he can recalibrate the battery.
Turn everything on?

Turn up your brightness. Leave the screen on. Play music. Turn on Google maps with GPS on.
Your battery will go down faster than Tara Reid on an average Tuesday.

Any streaming video does a good job as well.
i leave my phone plugged in and even when its 100% i leave it plugged in while i use it all the time... until I have to go outside.. that way the phone is always 100% when i go out... just wondering is it safe or does it hurt the phone or battery

You're fine.
In time, doing this will damage your battery. It will stop keeping charge for long periods of time.

@ coupe - Can you elaborate or provide your sources?

Ok, so a couple of weeks ago I installed a Sense rom that had gingerbread, it had a few problems main one being that the phone would randomly reboot and then it would vibrate 4 times and not power up again until I did a battery pull .. so I then installed CM7 thinking that would fix the problem, but it still does it whenever I try watching a movie.. can someone please help me fix that it gets very annoying

flash a different kernal.
And just to make sure, are you wiping EVERYTHING before flashing? cache, dalvik, and data.
which kernel is good with Cm7? ?

Sav-gen and Tiamat are good for cm7

What's the best cache cleaning app on xda or the market because I've used cache mate, and a few others and they are always leaving between 10-15 mb uncleaned. Do they all miss a app or two or is there one out there that will completely clear the cache so I don't have to manually.

I recommend "Quick App Manager" very thorough and you could program it to clear cache automatically.

I use cache cleaner NG and it seems to get the job done for me, I have it set to auto clean every 12 hours and it even cleans the cache off of my SD

MyBackupPro. Definitely the best.

I use 1 tap cleaner. I believe it does the job. Don't need to be rooted either. Plus you can clear your defaults and history with it. You could also try zd box which also has cache cleaner among a lot of other useful tools.

I tried a few of the ones yaw mentioned and personally I think cache cleaner ng worked the best...

Am certain its not just WiFi, it's also data connection. That seem to be with most 3.5 sense roms i've seen..am guessing it has something to do with saving battery life...

Ugh still having that problem. Battery is only at 50% and wifi was off when I turned my screen on

Am lost.. it's obvious that when your phone is ON battery is been used..all sense 3.5 Roms have the same issues, when your not using any data or WiFi it disconnects after a while, say 10min, in terms of helping save battery..but if your using your connection I think it should be ok.. if not just restart your phone.
