Any suggestions?
Anything that has high graphics and sound, why would you want to drain battery?

I am guessing he wants to drain the battery so he can recalibrate the battery.
Turn everything on?

Turn up your brightness. Leave the screen on. Play music. Turn on Google maps with GPS on.
Your battery will go down faster than Tara Reid on an average Tuesday.

i leave my phone plugged in and even when its 100% i leave it plugged in while i use it all the time... until I have to go outside.. that way the phone is always 100% when i go out... just wondering is it safe or does it hurt the phone or battery

You're fine.
In time, doing this will damage your battery. It will stop keeping charge for long periods of time.

turn off your data when phones on in use
it's the battery used by your radios
I'm currently running Affinity, but I seem to be having this problem on all sense 3.5 roms. My wifi sleep is set to never yet if my screen is off for awhile it turns off

Am certain its not just WiFi, it's also data connection. That seem to be with most 3.5 sense roms i've seen..am guessing it has something to do with saving battery life...

Ugh still having that problem. Battery is only at 50% and wifi was off when I turned my screen on

Am lost.. it's obvious that when your phone is ON battery is been used..all sense 3.5 Roms have the same issues, when your not using any data or WiFi it disconnects after a while, say 10min, in terms of helping save battery..but if your using your connection I think it should be ok.. if not just restart your phone.

searching and reading can show you everything you need to know.
Only thing ive disabled is google play apps auto update.
My brightness is always at max and disabling auto updates helped me out greatly. You really don't need latest updated apps to run. Just go home and update them manually while charging.
My phone goes through over 12 hours on a single charge. But then I am not a heavy user. Just facebook, web browsing, emails when I am not on ky desks. Maybe 1 hour of phone conversation daily.

Use a power manager app. I'm using GO Power Manager, but there are many.

Get better battery stats app and figure out where you wake locks are. Then work on reducing them.

Just curious if 2.5-3% drain an hour is the norm. This is with location off, sync off, Wi-Fi most of the time, auto brightness.
Sent from my LG-D800 using xda app-developers app
Depends on phone configuration and check if you have a wake lock.

Also depends what you're doing, just sat on the home screen will use much less power than streaming music.
6 hours screen a per charge seems to be the normal.

I don't even get 3% drain with 6 hours of 'sleep' time with location/sync/wifi on.
You're asking about drain, as in if you're not using the phone?
Yeah, that is not even using the phone. I greenify everything save alarm app and textra
