Does anyone know if the microSD and/or USB Flash drives show up as USB drives on PC? Do the standard Android development tools connect-up through the USB and 'just work' like they do for my phone? I assume that the miniUSB plug is the one that connects to your PC since the other are listed as 'Host' on the Notion Ink Tech specs page.
you would connect to computer with the miniusb, the microsd would mount to computer just as it would with a phone. that would be nice if a usb flash drive did to but i'm not sure about that.

Just curious what all can be done with the mini USB connector on the Wizard other than Active Sync and charging.

the device doesn't support usb host so you can't use a drive, or keyboard, etc with the usb
With WM5Storage or CardExportII the miniSD card can be used as USB FLASHDRIVE
my diamond takes very long time to get files from pc via actvesync or disk drive mode. iam facing this problem from the first day i got this phone.sometimes the trasfer even doesn't complete.
can someone help me out with this?
Make sure you're using a USB 2.0 port on your computer. I suggest plugging it directly into a computer port, not into a hub.
Other than that I don't have any suggestions. Do you have problems with other USB devices on your computer? or is it just the diamond?
I am running Vista Ultimate and in "Activesync" it's pretty slow, but "Disk Drive mode" is fast; comparable to a USB flash drive.
I can't find a proof data that Dell Streak support USB _host_

how would you connect usb devices with cable?
So, let's imagine we sucessfully connected Keyboard and Mouse as Bluetooth HID devices.
But, sorry, it's not discover whether does it have USB host (!) or not.
The question is:
-will we have ability to have acess via USB to our USB storages (any, HDDs, DVD/BD drives, Flash drives)
-will we have ability to use USB peripheral devices like (additional) USB video cameras, printers, USB-Ethernet devices, etc (after got drivers for it)?

First it's just a usb cable with the data+ and data- leads swapped (oh, and a hub built into it)
Second, the A500 has the mini-usb, why do you need the full usb to exchange data? The mini works fine, and I can access the full usb as a second removable drive (from the PC, I mean)
its a noob question. i m new to smartphone, so pl guide. how can i connect my yureka to my pc for data/video transfer? my pc does not have bluetooth. can i remove the usb cable (which is connected to the charge) from the charger and connect it to usb port of pc for data transfer? is this usb cable same as OTG? thanks

Yes bro you can use the same USB cable to connect your phone to PC or laptop and transfer the files photos and videos between them. Your yureka will be visible in Computer as media player device or either as a phone depending on the settings you have selected on your phone. settings while connecting to PC. You can always change the mode from notification area visible on the top of your phone which is called status bar. As far as OTG cable is concerned that is a different cable which allows you to connect any flash drive to your phone and allow you to copy paste or read write the content of the flash drive or pendrive on your smartphone.
