Can this magldr be installed with magldr 1.11?
As the title says, I want to know if this is possible.
I still cannot access the bootloader with the volume down reset. Always starts in Magldr 1.11 menu.
Need to be flash wm rom before flasg the magldr?
Is this magldr build fix thx mac address issue?

that's weird, it loads HSPL before MAGLDR, so holding vol down and powering on should get you to HSPL, it does for me, maybe you're not holding voldn button before reset?

you can flash magldr over previous version I think, but will lose your ROM so back it up first.
hope the phone off while charging bug is fixed

Try various combination... as in first the vol down button then power or vice versa... or download a enter bootloader .exe from XDA ... and run it inn the usb mode...

Hi
Newbie here... I've searched for this Q & A but ' haven't found anyone with this exact problem...
I've just bought an used but barely used HTC HD2 with WM6.5 from a friend of mine.
I wanted to have both Android and WM, so i did install RAFDROID HD 4.2 on my sd. Everything went smooth on the installation, but now i wanted that Android as my default OS. Every time i turn on my HD2, it loads automatically WM. Tried to install [APP] RunDroid-dual boot to Android [SD] or WM6, and even when i select Android as default, it will load WM first...
Anyone can help me?
Thanks
António

Can you help me, giving me a tip on how i do that? (it is mandatory that i maintain WM intact on the phone memory)
well if you want nand android than your WM will be gone.
but you can always reflash it back to WM later.
if you do not want WM to be gone you should maybe try a different bootloader

Right, you should try a different boot loader
try this: multiboot: http://www.mediafire.com/?nssn9v0ijoy3thv
You can install more than 1 android build on SD card.

Hi,
My question is primarily:
Does anyone know when this app will work for us MAGLDR users?
There is no doubting that this is a great little program. But like myself and many other MAGLDR users who have tried to use it,it does screw up our CWM recovery.
So,any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
I doubt that it ever will. RM or any other Android app has no control over the mag menu, because the phone is more or less 'booted' into mag, and boots into Android from there. It's different booting from Android straight to bootloader or a recovery. Plus, even if it is somehow possible, it would take quite a bit of work, and development on the HD2 has slowed down a bit since the HD2 is an aging device and other hot Android phones are being released now, devs are already starting to flee to the new dual-core Android devices and Android tablets.
It'll probly remain clk only to use RM. I'm considering switching to clk because of this.

I'm seeing more and more people saying this.
I've just got used to MAGLDR after a lot of trial and error.
What happens when you want to load a new ROM and there is no CLK option?
Or RM does not support a certain ROM you want to use?
Once you have clockwork on clk, I'm pretty sure you can use any CWM rom, as long as you convert its connection protocol from rmnet to ppp if necessary.
If RM doesn't support the rom you want, you can still d/l it to your sd card and flash it via cwm.
I'm just too lazy atm to switch to clk, and I've grown accustomed to mag and some of its features. If I switch, I won't have mag tetris lol

Ditto.
And Tetris is a MAJOR consideration.
In your opinion what is the best NAND Android OS for a HTC HD2
that is light on the battery? If you can provide the reason why and
what the build lacks.
Thanks
Depends on ur requirements but you can try this if you are looking for a very stable one with no frills, the battery is great too :-
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=905060
I tried it two days ago and everything works on it just like a native Android device, though it does not have sense on it so u have to use some stuff like ADW launcher etc from market place

Hold down the power button. In the future search before posting and if you still have to post then at least do it in a related thread rather than an old and random best ROM thread.
Personally, for me, the most normal - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2208626
Hello best friend. You've need "toolkit 4.2.0.1 HD2" and you've download this (free) program about 15 a 20 MB and run these onto your Windows 7 PC or laptop. Bootloader *phone off and press volume down and start up phone with volume down*. You will see a 4 colorscreen "red/green/blue and white" and into white screen says "SERIAL" wenn not connected with datacable and "USB" wenn connected datacable between HTC HD2 and PC. It's very important to use this datacable or you cannot upload other roms because mostly uploads are going via datacable.

Hello all, I have been running android on my hd2 for almost a year now with close to 0 problems, I love it! I am currently running cm7 and it boots from nand. That's all I know about what I am running, I am getting a little bored and would like a new rom (stock as possible) that is running sense 3.5. I need help, I am afraid to try something new, I am afraid to screw everything up. Also, is there a rom from the sensation XE that can be ported to HD2? Thanks and please help

if you use mgldr flash 230 CRW for EU and 330 for tmob
wipe data and dalvik catch
make secound ext3 or ext 4 partition on sdcard
copy crw zip to sdcard fat partition and flash it
follow instructions
reboot phone after ROM flashing end
wait 15- 20 min for first boot

For the first question ... you can't screw nothing unless you install wrong radio.
You can try this stock 3.5 sense - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1316632.
For the second question ... the XE and the Pyramid are very simmilar and that is the reason for no seperate section for XE. If you want Sensation Rom try - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1075703

Hi guys!
I bought my HD2 a view month ago with android already installed (v. 2.3.6).
Everything worked very smoothly.
BUT two days ago I restarted my phone and since then it "sticks" at the HD2 boot screen and won't boot into the OS.
Any ideas what it could be and how to fix this?
thanks,
mrspyda
Do you have magldr or can you get into recovery by holding the home button?

If the task29 doesn't work, make sure you're using the correct CWM partition size, even ones which are too big can cause problems sometimes. Sticking to the one recommended tends to be the best idea, it takes literally 3 minutes to flash a new partition size anyway. If you have bad blocks you may want to have a slightly higher size, but other than that sticking to the recommended size is best.
first task29, then flash radio, MAG or CLK, new ROM
