CyanogenMod 7 Video Preview - HTC Aria General

Awesome video preview of the upcoming CyanogenMod 7 (Gingerbread) running on a MyTouch 4G...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EGDWH6lvpLg

Looks good, I'm looking forward to trying the nightlies out.

Looks fun! I dig the notification bar, even though he says it still needs some work.

At the moment, I'm satisfied with the Gingerbread theme, but I *totally* want that Screen off/Screen on animation, omg.

very nice. Good share bro. Looking forward to testing this bad-boy out when they get to Aria

Can't wait for CM7 on Aria. Hope the little thing can handle it...at least long enough for us to get hold of that HTC Inspire 4G this summer!

Dont worry it will
Signatures are fancy.

Looks good.

Can't wait for it. Once the first build is done will it take long to port the other devices or do they have to make a new build per device?
Sent from my Liberty using XDA App

The team is working on a whole bunch of devices, thats why it takes awhile. Once all the main things work on each device they support, they release the nightlies. Nightlies are coming next week.

What's are the improvements in cm7?

I'd like to know as well. Apart from the different theme and added effects, what are the functionality improvements?
Sent from my Liberty using XDA App

I'm excited! Can't wait for a test-drive! The video makes it seem very functional and stable, but I'm sure it's not like that for all devices.

http://www.differencebetween.com/difference-between-android-2-2-froyo-and-android-2-3-gingerbread/
The considerable new features of Gingerbread are new UI themes, redesigned keyboards, new copy and paste functionality, improved power management, better application management, new download manager, NFC (Near Field Communication), support for VoIP/SIP calls, new Camera application for accessing multiple cameras and supports extra large screens.

First Gingerbread details

According to this article (http://phandroid.com/2010/10/18/exclusive-first-android-gingerbread-details/) there is an early build of Gingebread in the wild. If this is true, I believe a leaked rom won't be long away.
That image could be anything, not a great article.
aww I was hoping for some serious overhaul of the UI but it looks to be essentially froyo. Loving the hardware acceleration bit though.

My toughts exactly. I bet this explains the rumors of Gingerbread not being the tablet optimized 3.0 OS version we were waiting for. It will be a cleaned up version of Froyo with hardware accerlation. Which sure isn't bad but I'm afraid a lot of users will end up being dissappointed.
Of course the picture can be fake but the source seems pretty solid.
Unless they fix some of the big issues in their current "features", they will have a max exodus to WP7
wow nice article the author is just taking wild pot shots to things that will be on gingerbread.

WP7 will be a damn train wreck. The Kin's production was haulted a month end because it sold only a few thousand devices. They should probably just call it what it really is, Windows Mobile 6.6
Enjoy your decade old technology with a mediocre gui slapped on top. It's the Microsoft way.
As for Gingerbread, I hope there are alot of behind-the-scene updates. Gui updates can wait if you're cranking things up under the hood like they did in Froyo.
I think that the article has some truth.
It mentions that the Android Green is going to be much more prominent throughout the OS which I think is correct. The new Market has much more green and in the latest Gmail app, when an email is deleted the undo bar that appears is the same green as the green used in the Market.
All this talk of there being a totally brand new UI (like WP7) is wrong. There is nothing wrong with the look of the homescreens so that it why the blurry image looks pretty similar to Froyo. The UI is going to be refreshed which means the UI is going to be consistent throughout the entire OS and apps created by Google.
From what I have seen, the new UI is going to be similar to the current Gallery app and the Android Green is going to be much more prominent throughout the OS. At I/O, a music app was shown which had the same UI as the Gallery app. The latest Car Home app also has the look of the current Gallery app.

Nothing wrong with this at all. I always wondered after Eclair why Google didn't make more of the OS elements look more like the genie widget or the gallery with the 3Dish grey look. Now if they can get a decent media player and have studios continue to give Android respect and porting good games to our OS I think I'll just keep my eye off that shiny new Dell Venue Pro

I just wish they fix the damn stock dialer to dial by name. Dialer One works but is aggravating trying to bounce back and forth.
Honestly the only 2 things I replace right off the bat is the dialer and Launcher Pro. Everything else is stock... and its great.

He's hardly trolling. Google need to change more than just invisible behind-the-scenes stuff, although adding Flash support was a fairly big deal. Android needs better support for large screens, a much better media/music player (Gapless support is way overdue if nothing else).
I'm perfectly happy with my N1 with 2.2, but Android can't stay still, most of the changes since 1.5 have been background things, tweaking and quite incremental. Hopefully 3.0 has something really good in it to justify my waiting for a decent Android tablet.

That's what I'm sayin. We just need a good music player, like the one in the youtube link a few posts above, and more quality apps. I must admit I was pretty excited about WP7, but I'm in the air bc I'd be losing flash for a few months, as well as all the cool *cliche* customizations. If Gingerbread is as good as expected I'm saying.

I would say the biggest task is to finally fix the really long list of bugs and annoyances in current version android/google apps. THEN they should tackle the GUI.

I am 100% with you on that.
I really like how MS thought outside the box for WP7/Zune.

thoughts/excitment about ICS?

Just wondering what you fellow G2/DZ owners think about the upcoming android release "Ice cream sandwich". what features or changes are you excited about? do you reckon cyanogen team will migrate to it for our devices? and can our devices even effeciently run it?
i for one am always excited about any improvements to android, seeing it come so far has been incredible and i hope it continues to expand and prosper while still maintaining the performance and complexity weve come to adore as modders/hax0rs.

I'm assuming you've seen the engadget video of the leaked software? I know it's just a visual eyecandy thing but I'm actually looking forward to the screen rotation animations, for one. The lockscreen looks like it is similar to a MIUI circle lockscreen where you can unlock to different app shortcuts. Just looking forward to something new in general I guess, heh. If it was running on a Nexus S, I'm 100% it will work just fine for us, too.
i think that engadget video cant be faker, cmon a lucky guy from ebay?? hahaha yeah right reminds me of the iphone prototypes found in a bar a while ago
i think its just a very nice cooked ROM, also compare it to the leaked pictures and it doesnt look the same
about ICS taken from cyanogen i think it is gonna be ported by the team as theyve been doing with every previous version of android, so expect CM8! also i think were not gonna have any problems running it on our G2s since AOSP are not that heavy and i think ICS is not gonna be that heavy either, at least not like a sense ROM
As stated above. I'm mainly looking forward to rotation animation and speed increases.
As far as I'm concerned each new stock version has had a similar speed to the previous modded version. So I'm not expecting much in the way of speed..... yet.
Here's hoping there's plenty new toys.

Doubt it. On my 5th android handset from 3 manufacturers and resigned to the fact that I need custom roms to get the latest/fastest software.
Sent from my HTC Vision using xda premium
Frankly, it looks horrendous - especially from a user experience point of view. As a longtime fan of Android, it boggles my mind that the software is so half-baked.
I'm not exactly blown out of the water by it. It looks like they took some of the Honeycomb design language and ported it over as a skin ontop of Gingerbread. I really hope that its more than that, but we'll have to see. 2.2 to 2.3 was a lot of polish and cleaning up with some new UI elements, so I hope 4.0 is a big leap.
I hope that we see performance gains, new features, and more stability/usability. I liked what they did in Honeycomb from a UI and smoothness PoV, but I'm not sure how that will translate to the smaller screen. The big test will be how it performs and looks on the next Nexus device, as that is the benchmark or platform example of what they want it to look like. I don't think the vision of ICS is complete when its running on a Nexus S.

I disagree, but I don't think anybody can judge until we officially see them demonstrate it.
If that leak was real, it's basically some honeycomb elements and a bluish neon theme. Not really a huge stretch from what we have currently. And face it, Android still isn't as user friendly as it could be. ICS needs to be huge if they want to stay ahead of WP7 and compete with iOS.

I agree with that. They really need to knock it out of the park. Not necessarily with features (they already have a ton of features) but with user experience and consistency/reliability. iOS and WP7 knock it out of the park on user experience whether you care to admit it or not. If Android can smooth out a lot of the rough edges and issues I'm sure it'll give a huge boost to sales.
The problem is that high end Androids still lag. Now I'm willing to place a lot of blame on oems, but Android is still too power and resource hungry. That NEEDS to be addressed here.

Funny...my g2 lasts twice as long on battery as my lender iphone 4, though I'm all for power and battery improvements who knows what android can achieve.
As for top end androids lagging, I'm assuming your referring to stock devices. In which bloatware can be blamed for 99% of that lag. For a one year old device my g2 blows every one of my friends devices out of the water, especially when everyone is out somewhere and we need to 'google' something, my wp7 friends never find the right info, and the iphone guys/gurls usually never get to the search fast enough lol. THIS is what I believe sets us apart, the speed in which I can fire a google search, check google maps, etc leaves all my non google friends gawking at how easy my droid is.
I'm hoping for a little bit of user experience improvement, but mostly if they can squeeze out even more performance and power saving, it'll truly set us apart from the competition.
Edit: IMO

To be honest, I don't like the way Android development is going. I mean, phones keep getting more and more powerful, we have dual-core CPUs and lots of RAM, but the OS doesn't really feel faster and the user experience is more or less the same.
What I'd like to see in ICS is a smoother feeling, especially faster launching apps and making better use of the hardware (the second one is difficult with all the diferent phones out there).
Also, some more UI customization would be welcome. For example, changing the battery icon (or the whole status bar icon set) without root or cooking a custom rom, or making my own tabs in the app drawer.

I also agree, the way I see it the more powerful they get the more battery hungry they will be, though I could be wrong. Cm7 runs pretty damn smooth at 800mhz stock speed so I mean it is possible to optimize the os for a single core. But I mean looking back from donut to ginger, the os does feel not only bigger but also runs smoother in my opinion. But again it could be because the hardware has improved so much as well.
Given the fact the iphone 4s specs were just announced, and don't really wow anyone, I'm hoping oct 11th and ICS blow everything out of the water. Google is most definetly capable of showing some innovation, so my fingers are crossed that ICS is everything we want! Would also prove perfect timing to make even more gain in the mobile os department. They also need to keep up the sick advertising on tv, lord knows the commercials make my iphail pals jealous!
Sent from my HTC Vision using xda premium
i'm with the people saying that they hope ICS brings with it better performance and nicer User Experience. rooting really barely helps. don't get me wrong its fun having all these choices and flashing roms and whatnot. but none of them really make the phone work like it should. i still have lag. i still have crashes. full wipes do nothing. yea it runs AMAZING for a day. maybe a week on a really good rom. and then things start lagging. it's getting harder and harder to defend. "no you don't get it, with android you get choice and iphone sucks" ... as my friend's iphone works perfectly pretty much 100% of the time. blah. come on ICS. wow me. please!

What makes these ICS roms so cool?

I haven't really tried them out much yet. I installed AOKP for a little bit the other day, but didn't know enough about ti to leave it on as my daily driver for work. SO I am wondering what do these roms have that make them cool? I like the way the 5 icons look in the dock at the bottom of the screen, but I can get that with GoLauncher.
Not hating on these roms at all. I love what the devs are doing. I just want to know what difference I get going with an ICS rom over something like MikG 3.0 or tommys classic?
Thanks

I have done that, but I also know these roms aren't all their yet. Just wondering what cool new features they have and which ones they might be missing compared to the actual ICS
I'm not always an early adopter, and I don't automatically subscribe to newer=better.
That said, I just really love the new UI for ICS. I've always had to theme my roms to get rid of green and replace with blue (I hate green).
It's also the first real revamp of the UI in a LONG time. I like how the menu options shoot up the middle of screen, instead of 6 blocks across the bottom.
I like how there's finally scrollable Widgets (namely, finally, for the email), but also browser, calendar.
The quickmenu in browser is a really cool feature, as is the way browser handles tabs.
I really like the way gallery is handled, and the layout for sharing options after a pic is taken.
Notifications sweep away much easier/smoother than I've ever seen on GB. Also, long press of home for task switching is handled nicer than previously, I think.
I just really like it. Yes, there are features not working yet, but I do think it really is an improvement over earlier versions. On AOKP, I'm getting pretty poor battery life (but it's a great ROM), On drews p6 I got fantastic battery life.
Oh, I like the rotation animation, too. I'm sure there's lots more I'm not thinking of.

Not sold on ICS... yet.
I'm a flashaholic. My wife and I both have EVO 4G's, and I'm constantly flashing different ROMs on our phones. I've tried a couple ICS roms, even though there are still some bugs yet to be worked out. I'm not really impressed. I've found that I prefer ROMs that are more easily theme friendly. I think the new ICS blue is gonna get old fast. My wife prefers MikG 3.0, while I'm currently swagged out with Swagged Out Stock (Swag=ON). That said, when CM9 is available, I'll flash and play around with it. I'm also looking forward to checking out Chrome and a few other apps only available for ICS.
Why do you think CM9 will be worth? Hell, it may never even come to Evo (if you haven't noticed, CM has dropped support for Evo). The devs working on 4.0 now are light years beyond CM. Try it , you'll see.

Hey,
Ics is android 4.0 which is the latest and greatest! All the android 4.0 roms you will find right now are all AOSP roms, and later on when HTC releases it there will be the Sense android 4.0 roms! The difference is its just the latest and has extra eye candy and a few better features!
I hope I helped If I did please hit the thanks button,

As far as I've heard from inside source is that cm9 is close to ready for evo. Its missing some drivers that they are having to write themselves due to lack of support from HTC and qualcom. I know for a fact that a close buddy of mine is running cm9 that he compiled himself from cm tree only thing is hes had to hack the kernel for now. So it will be coming eventually.
cool to hear. I'll obviously keep my eye out (always am lol). Thanks for heads up. AOKP so far has been pretty amazing, though.
sent from AOKP heaven
Battery life is my favorite part so far. Going a full day and at the end of the night having 50% left is ridiculous. I use to be lucky having battery left by lunch! AOKP by the way. Tried to post the screenshot but either the upload doesn't work on the app or I don't have enough posts.
First, its task manager is awsome, you have to now end tasks or they will keep going its nice in some ways but lame if you get tomany running,
second, scrollable widgets and the ablity to resize them.\
and thats all i got
The big things that I'm loving about ICS are;
Scollable widgets (I used to stick to sense because of the great widgets, but these are comparable).
Re-sizable widgets (I know this is available with different launcher replacements, but it's nice to have "out of the box").
Battery life, getting almost 24 hours on AOKP.
Swiping away notifications (again, available on different ROMs).
The overall look is fresh, I prefer the blue over the typical green.
The things I'm not a fan of;
No 4g (though I hardly ever used it anyway because it just KILLS my battery).
No video recording.
Random force closes (these are few and far between, much less than other ROMs I've been on, but they still happen).
Not being able to long press to add an app or widget to a screen (I know this is available through NOVA launcher, just talking about out of the box here).
Not sure if I'm sold on the new app drawer layout.
Bottom line is, since I flashed ICS (Evervolv first, now AOKP) to try it out, it's become my daily driver. The features match up with what I'm looking for, and what's currently missing will surely be fixed soon enough thanks to the awesome dev's working on it. As always, it boils down to what you want and what you can live without.

I think thats what it was, for me at least. I couldn't wait to hop on board the ICS train. I was flashing everytime someone released a new alpha!
It eventually died down for me, and now I am settled back down nicely with CM7..
So far the only ICS that has impressed me was 4.0.3 sense 4.0. Other than that I can't seem to see what all the hype is. Aosp ICS in my opinion(yes my opinion) is its plain and poorly colored. Maybe I don't want a turquois blue UI. Idk. Just MY opinion as I know everyone has their own ideas thoughts and feelings. Don't get me wrong I do like some of the features(some which evo4g may not see) but in time I believe it will get better. Everything starts from bottom. GB was the same way when it surfaced for our evos. Well see what the future brings!

Why install Cyanogenmod?

Okey, so Cyanogenmod is coming to our wonderful TF and people are hyping about this. I'm just wondering why. So we get an equalizer and themes support, hoopla. And we're minus the Polaris Office which Asus provides as a free extra, which is a long and big minus.
So why install it?
(I'm not a troll, I'm just curious because don't see any reason for all the hype.)
Cyanogenmod is 100% open source. Once Cyanogenmod has a working TF101 build that means that others can build on top of it, and when Asus drops support we can use the cyanogenmod made code to keep our devices up to date. CM roms are also feature rich and offer constant updates. If you're willing to give up (or just pay for) Polaris then you'll see how much smoother AOSP roms are.
Polaris Office. recovery installable .zip is in Tjemes and apps section, its extracted from main ics build.

Is someone able to be a bit more specific about what a 'feature rich' CM9 brings beyond what the stock ROM has?
And what do we lose functionally besides the applications Asus has added?
A list of important differences would be very informative.
CM9 includes an entire list of performance tweaks and options such as reboot to recovery, my CM9 on my phone also uses the volume keys when screen is off to skip tracks without having to wake the device and press a button on the screen..just for a small example.

i should say, im fairly eager as well to try out CM, but as far as i understand, its not as mature as the stock OS itself. ive read poor support for the camera, wifi and bluetooth, which in its own right is a CM-killer for me. but perhaps that is not the case now?
i love being in control of my phone/tablet and that's why i want to get away from stock roms that are always trying to unroot and lock the phone or tablet, that is not the meaning of open source and Android to me.
anyhow, id love someone knowledgeable on CM to debunk the issues with camera, wifi and bluetooth. id love to know what to expect in terms of stability, play store support and such, so that we could all have a clear understanding of what CM is and what it can do, how it differs, etc.
Thanks in advance,
Im hoping the lack of official support has been due to cm getting new build machines, cm said they,ll be up and running in a few days

And what do we lose functionally besides the applications Asus has added?
A list of important differences would be very informative.

Responsive, boot up time is quicker more customization's. For example taking away the names under the apps so its just the app itself.. if we had a built in LED set the LED blink frequency time or intervals and some even change its color and assign it to email, battery ect. Battery life is way long but its very quick. Bounce back affect when you hit the sides,Glow, change window transitions, like have the homescreen change in card stack form, flip, boxed, fade, spin ect or just have a constant home screen switching (no end) just starts over. Change the weight of the transition from light to heavy so it feels like light as a feather or heavy when switching screens. Erasing the Google search bar , change how notifications behave. Change the sound pitch. Hide status bar or the dock screen so its just your wallpaper and apps.. assign swipe animations like sliding your finger up or down you can make the status bar appear or dock dispel. Different lock screens, lock screen gestures.Make the static wallpaper not move with transitions (which gives a speedy feel to everything). Force Live wallpapers to not move with each screen swipe.. it feels like its more stable and less stuttering when using a LWP.That's just a quick list off the top of my head. Plus alot of changes under the hood. They also support theme's depending on the launcher they include.
You can get most of this separate by getting another launcher but its not built into the package. Its not bonded to your transformer. With CM its all there ready to use. Its done very subtle that it looks like it meant for it since its a tweaked version of the ones you can get in the Market. Some people dont like CM since its not as flashy. That's why most get a CM based ROM with added stuff. I love the CM9.. Right now there on there 2nd nightly build. I would wait till they announce an RC version or stable. Currently, dock support is glitchy and its missing features since its there 2nd nightly build. Nighties are like Beta builds. Not a daily driver..

Development on CM9, Megatron (CM9 based) and AOKP are all done more real time and ongoing than anything from Asus. They provide better stability, can be developed to accept the Asus stock apps, and introduce new features to your tablet. Nearly all of the added features can be purchased apps instead of integrated for free though. I'd rather donate to one dev doing awesome things than have 1000 apps from different mediocre devs. It's less work for you to optimize and get every ounce of ability out of your tablet. Even with the 201, 101 and 300 all being out and pretty much awesome still even through the first two are "aging", we still get better attention. Maybe not all those thoughts go together.
In my opinion though, my tablet runs smoother on Megatron than it did stock. I have Guevor and Ricardopv working hard from each end supporting this tablet in a way that Asus isn't. I use Kingsoft Office Suite (free and full-functioning) with cloud support for office needs. I play my games, Facebook, Twitter and anything else I can think of pretty much with this thing and don't have to worry about the random reboots at all.
To each their own though. If you don't think you need it, that's cool. I probably didn't need it. I wanted it though. When CM hits a device, even AOKP now, it brings out developers that will usually support a device until it is truly dead. Support a dev and try their wares. Donate.

Well done HTC, very well done...

So I sat there last night, excited as a schoolboy on Xmas eve, waiting for the first fixed GE edition ROM to be uploaded, and there it was, before my very eyes....
Downloaded, installed and setup in the blink of an eye, Vanilla Android goodness...
24 hours later in back on Sense 4.2.2, and here's MY moral of the story, HTC have made such a good job of Sense 5 and how it runs on the One, that vanilla feels boring, plain, underpowered and undertooled.
Again I say well done HTC, first time I have ever missed using a manufacturers software.

I will have to agree with you except I didn't run the ge version. I had the nexus 4 before and never rooted the thing. I feel that Samsung and HTC are doing a great job with their stock roms now that flashing stock android just feels plain.

Right there with you but only because I had a couple of random reboots and tethering is broken, but I'm sure these issues will be ironed out when we get a real rom from a shipped device.
It was supposed to read "im back on Sense on 4.2.2"
Basically if I had brought the GE version and was sat next to a friend with the Sense 5 version, I would feel a little let down with my purchase. Im so happy we have such great devs and community here because I was seriously considering selling my non-GE and buying the GE, now i have basically had it for 24 hours, I won't be bothering.
If the ir blaster worked in aosp I would be using it over sense, I bought this phone for the hardware, completely planning on flashing an aosp Rom as soon as there was one I liked. To be honest though, I did kind of fall head over heels for sense after I got it themed a little but I still have all intentions to flash stock android on it when everything works right. I will miss my BlinkFeed and my sense widgets. Lol

It's funny. I keep reading blog and forum posts calling this this thing a failure and bashing HTC and Samsung for this Google Edition stuff and the way they are handling it.
Maybe I'll come off as an apologist, but seriously... really? I've owned both the S4 and the One. I prefer the one, but they are both great phones, (Even with Touchwiz the S4 is a good machine).
I always find myself in the same boat... take a stock current version Sense (Or Touchwiz) Rom and debloat and desense it as much as possible. I always try and get the AOSP lockscreen, MMS, and Email working (I hate the manufacturer apps usually). At the end of the day I try really really really hard to get an AOSP experience on the manufacturers frameworks for stability.
Yesterday I installed the GPe leak that bigxie released...and blamo...here is exactly what I've been going for. The quick setting error and tethering will be fixed...hell the leak just leaked yesterday.
This is the opposite of a failure in my eyes. This is exactly what I wanted.
Thanks HTC and Google.
Agreed with OP. I installed the GE rom last night and it feels boring and lacking now that I've used sense 5. I used to love running aosp roms but I found myself missing tethering, the IR blaster, the camera, blinkfeed... the list goes on. Sense 5 is really polished and highly funtional and the aosp camera doesn't even come close, aside from photosphere. The main benefits for me to run aosp roms in the past have been for speed and battery life, but that is no longer necessary as Android Revolution with sense 5 perfoms every bit as good, if not better.

Not baked in like it is with Sense. You can get 3rd party IR apps I have read and they will work.

The GE ROM does have the cool 4.2.2 lockscreen widget capability. Hopefully that feature comes to the Sense 5 4.2.2 ROMs. So far, 2.17 and 2.19 based firmwares don't have it enabled yet.
I downloaded the GE straight away it's very nice however I would replace with a stable pacman rom in a heartbeat.
Am going to stick with the GE for a bit though but of all the things I miss it Blinkfeed that stands out.

There will always be 1 reason for me personally why I can't use sense and that is issues it has with LCD Density (DPI), it just doesnt work right and I can't stand default densities on phones they look too big for me lol.
Overall I have to agree. I do love the smoothness and look of the GE Rom but the camera falls well short of what is capable of on Sense. A couple of things that still baffle me about vanilla android is the lack of an option to have the battery percentage built into stock as well as no drop down volume adjustment option. Sure I can use the volume rockers but it should be standard on the drop down menu. I believe we have reached a point where the manufacturer skins are just more functional than we like to give them credit for.

Actually ViperOne just got it in their new update. There is a bug where if someone calls you you have to input your password to answer. I actually don't mind cuz then no prying eyes can see who's calling or answer on my behalf

Yeah that password bug is a show stopper for me personally. TrickDroid also has has an AOSP lockscreen option with the same bug. It will be nice if/when Sense ROMs support lockscreen widgets natively so the AOSP-like lockscreen works properly.
I can haz lockscreen widgets. (With no phone call bug.)

That is..... AWWEESSOOOMEEE. i find the widgets look so much better than the AOSP widgets
I agree with the statement of the OP... sense for me is (since sense 4) the best integration with android that a Smartphone could have, thats why i leave SGS3 and change it for the HOX, and why i selected the one, GE give us the opportunity to probe that pure stock android is somewhat overrated, but do not misunderstand me, I like the pure android, I even using it right now and I gonna use it for a good time; it has its own advantages, but eventually I know I gonna return to sense...
