[Q] Could 3G Hotspot in Tattoo which for Hero to access? - Hero, G2 Touch General

Hi all,
I have a 3G mobile access, Hero and Tattoo. And i would like to use the Hero or Tattoo to share the 3G mobile signal as a hotspot for other mobile devices such as Tattoo, Hero, Nexus One, etc.
Tried aNetShare which provide a tethering services and it's only allow wireless access to/from computers such as PC, Mac, Ubuntu.
But other kinds of mobile devices such as Tattoo, Hero, N1 can't find due to it's not a WiFi hotspot.
Could a WiFi hotspot be available in Hero or Tatoo just like hTC Desire, Nexus One?
Thanks.

2x HTC mobile sharing 1 internet connection?

Hello,
I have currently 2 HTC WM6 mobile phones with bluetooth and HSDPA possibilities (NO WIFI possebility!). One HTC mobile phone has a internet connection and i want to share this connection for the other HTC mobile phone (so that i can use 2 phones at the same connection).
Normaly you can setup a internetconnection and connect a Laptop with the INTERNET SHARING option in the HTC Phone. This solution works well with a bluetooth dongle and a laptop, but when i use a normal HTC phone i can't connect to the other HTC phone with bluetooth (PAN) and share this connection.
Is there an application so that i can use 2 HTC phones at the same internetconnection with the Bluetooth solution?

Internet sharing from MAC machine to G1

Hi,
I have a mac mini sharing its internet connection on Ethernet to almost all the wireless devices.
I enable "Internet sharing" on the mac to send out a wireless signal. Basically all the devices with a wifi card could connect to the mac and get internet access. I had a ipod touch, it can access to internet through the mac. I had a white English G1, it also works.
But now, a German HTC dream (DREA110 PVT 32B) can connect to the shared network, it gets IP, no problem, but it can not access to internet, web browsing does not work, PING doesn't work. Interestingly, this German G1 can access to internet through the AP in the library and at my home.
What is the problem with this G1, do you guys have any idea? Thanks in advance.
No idea?
Does anyone else have this problem?
Dealing with this now. We're at a hotel and are sharing the hotspot access we are buying. I'm on a MacBook Pro and can share the signal off of my Brother's macbook via bluetooth. But my cousin can't get on the internet from his G1 through the host mac. They are paired. Any thoughts

Can I use Cradlepoint with HD2 to allow infrastructure wifi connections?

Has anyone connect the HD2 to the Cradlepoint successfully? The HD2 broadcasts only adhoc wifi and I need it to broadcast infrastructure wifi so I can connect my TouchPad to it. The Cradlepoint would allow this on some phones so I'm curious if anyone tried it before I buy it. I'm not interested in rooting my phone with Android for now. Thanks in advance.

[Q] wifi-in wifi-out (sharing wifi on wifi)

Hi all,
I know the thread's title may sound ridiculous, but it's really not.
I'm looking for a way to share my mobile wifi connection (I'm currently using the latest HTC one device) via wifi.
Meaning, I'm connected to a wifi network from my Android device, and I want to share this connection with other laptop/pad/mobile devices via wifi.
So my device acts both as wifi client to a hot-spot infra, and also like a hotspot infra for other devices.
In the past, I did it successfully using my iphone and MyWi app.
I've spent quite some time goggling for a solution, but non of the threads/articles I've read really address this problem, as most of them refer to sharing the mobile data connection rather than the wifi connection.
this is the closest thread I've found (from 2010) and it refers to wifi sharing via USB and not wifi.

the reason I'm looking for such a way is that I have a iPass certificate on my mobile, which enables me to connect freely to iPass wifi hotspots around the world (popular at airports for example) and I want to use this connection with my laptop or my friends mobile devices.
can anyone shed some light on this subject?
Provided that your phone and your laptop are connected to the same WiFi network, ( no internet access to laptop due to VPN or other reasons) you can use a proxy server (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.icecoldapps.proxyserver&hl=en) on android to use Internet on your laptop.

Hi, indeed it is usefull if you are sharing LAN and a lo you need is HTTP access. But if this is not the case.. then you are back to square one..

Some third party tethering app may be able to do it, but the native one will turn off WiFi before it enables WiFi Hotspot. I think it's a hardware limitation. You can use USB tethering and Bluetooth tethering with a WiFi connection.

Use WM device as an Wi-Fi access point, not ad-hoc?

Hi, guys, I have Windows Mobile and Windows Phone devices. I want to share the WM device's internet to the WP device. I've tried the app WMWiFirouter but it creates ad-hoc connection. As far as I know, WP doesn't support ad-hoc. So how to turn my WM device into an Wi-Fi access point?

I think you should try HTC Wi-fi Router app. Search it in Google.

If you are talking about this, it too creates an ad-hoc network

Maybe Windows Mobile can create only ad-hoc connection?
I have set up a wifi network on my HTC Touch Diamond device.
Im trying to connect from my Android Tablet. But it doesnt list any wireless network. By the way I can connect from my laptop computer.
