I am not leaving the hero. I just wanted to say thanks to everyone on The hero forum. Thanks especially to the people who didn't abandon the hero after only 8 months it was released :/ thanks to all our old and new devs, thanks to the people wo have contributed a little and the people who sat back and did absolutely nothing but complain the hero is still a kickass phone and always will be. Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for being apart of this wonderful community.

I agree the Hero is a great phone. I love mine and look forward to using it for the foreseeable future. I also agree the Hero CDMA Community and the XDA Community as a whole are great.
OMG, guys! I just got the new iPhone! You guys have got to check this thing out. Did you know you can use it to download apps? HELL YES! ANY APPS YOU WANT (as long as they are steve-approved for market worthiness)! It is AWESOME!

Well guys ive had my hero since launch and she has been great to me for sure but my evo showed up at my door today. I helped alot of you and tons of you helped me for sure. The heroc forum was my favorite so far(ive been in 4 other lol) what a great bunch of guys(talented ones might i add). I just wanted to say thanks and show appreciation to the devs and other users whom i became friends with and or enemies . Well i guess i will be moving to the EVO forum *tear* peace out dude.

So the question then would be WHY? Lol, or is it just personal preference?
I've been past my date for a few months now (upgrade) and have thought of going EVO, but still love my Hero much, lol, as such, I'm hesitant to make the jump.
I wish they made the Hero with a snapdragon processor and a slightly larger screen and all would be good, hahaha. HTC Knight maybe???
What are your thoughts. Your opinion is valued and appreciated!

The HTC Knight is 99% going to be a Sprint-branded, uglier version of the G2/Desire Z (closer to the Desire Z in that it runs Sense, as opposed to nearly stock):

Lol dude I wanted the epic man but my girl got the evo from radioshack she said they were sold out of the epic. Impaler I was gonna be on that boat with you but...... I like the evo a lot lol. Thanks guys take it easy. Ps the evo is freaking nice impaler

I'm in love man it was only 99 bucks at radio shack can't beat that with a bat. Plus its a tad thinner than the evo but both phones are worthy upgrades.

I've been debating for a while now whether to go ahead and get an EVO, but something keeps nagging at me that once I do, they'll announce a new, faster, better phone.
I guess with CES coming up, that will be all the announcements we'll have for the quarter. That'll have to be the time to come to a final decision.

Yeah but for 99 you can't beat it and the evo won't be outdated for a while plus so many devs jumped ship to the evo it probably the hottest forum right now.

Epic has the screen, keyboard, and is blazing fast. Much faster than the evo on 2.1 than the evo is on 2.2

I will be getting my 3vo tomorrow and so, as it is my last day as a proud EVO owner, I would like to say thank you, to this community and all the developers that made my phone amazing. This has been an awesome year and I couldn't be more grateful for all of you guys and your efforts.

Just wanted to show my appreciation to this Community for keeping our phones so updated even when Sprint and HTC decided to give up on it so quickly. I upgraded to an iOS device and couldn't be happier.
