Are you using the newest .340, bootloader, radio file, and kernel?
Also seems like you don't wipe cache, data, devlik or battery when installing a new ROM. If you do, do you factory reset once the custom ROM boots?

Dear friends,
I have a gt-i9505, and yesterday I installed CM11, cleaned the caches etc ... But forgot to install GAPPS, when did this I forgot to clear the caches.
After the phone restarts, it was with a strange operation in two minutes the screen crashed him with the yellowish image and with horizontal black stripes.
I removed the battery to restart it, but after that did not see more image on my screen.
The phone truns on, touch buttons lights on, makes sound and vibrates but nothing on the screen.
He rings when I call him!
I am in doubt whether my screen is broken or can be a problem I have not cleaned the caches after installing GAPPS
How can I clean the caches using ODIN for example, without having to use the phone screen?

Ok, I installed the origianl firmware through ODIN, but still no display.
My challenge is how to get the samsung warranty having rooted the phone and no screen to try to restore binary Conter etc..
Please i need urgent help. Water spilled on My Galaxy A5 A500H, i immediately turn it off and kept it in a warm place to dry. Now whenever i put on the phone it takes about 30 minutes to boot up and is very slow and laggy during use. I've flashed lollipop again with odin but the problem persist. I even wiped cache and did factory reset to no avail. please I'd there any other thing i can do?

Dude I don't know if that will help but I suggest you throw your phone in a bowl with rice so that , the remaining water gets absorbed by the rice... this may help.
Thanks dude. i later flashed a 4.4.4 rom on the phone. now it boots normally and don't lag only problem is it reboots itself soon after starting and keeps doing that till the battery runs down. Please any suggestions?

Does it boot normaly? Like you go to the menu? And when exactly does it reboot? Do you do anything in particular and causes the phone to restart?
Yes, it boots normally and fast too. But during the initial phone setup (selecting language, setting up wifi, accepting Google terms etc), the phone will reboot. and when it starts again and i attempt setting it up it ew pious againg. I even try not touching it to see if it will remain on, but it still reboots.
I don't know if i download a different 4.4.4 stock rom ( I'm currently using Uzbekistan release 4.4.4 rom) and flash it, maybe it will resolve the issue?

Hello, so I got an s4 GT-I9505 that had a cracked screen so I fixed it.
Phone booted as it should and worked fine for few minutes, then things started to crash (statusbar, touch wiz home), it starts to lag and behave very weird so I decided to do factory reset - same stuff happened.
So I flashed CM12 everything works fine besides the fact I dont have sound.
So I flashed back to stock using odin and pit file, it boots to stock sometimes it has sound and sometimes it doesn't, also it crashes like it used to after few minutes and reboots to bootloop.
I flashed CM12 again so I can use the phone somehow, but whenever I go into the AudioFx app it crashes so do other apps that need sound either crash or lag.
What is the issue? I'd love to stick to stock rom but I cant use it as it keeps crashing.
How do I fix this problem it's important for me to have this phone working.
Did you do full wipe before flashing?and is the screen original or chinese?
Try a custom stock rom.

I don't really know, got it on ebay for 50 pounds. And I did a full wipe using the stock recovery.
Possible loose connection somewhere?
Flash twrp and then wipe all..make wipe data/factory reset,wipe cache,wipe system,wipe dalvik cache and wipe data.all these from advanced wipe.then turn off phone and put it in dowload mode.then flash stock rom using odin.this is the cleanest way to flash rom.maybe in system is something from cm and messes up with stock.as for the sound it may be from the screen.some chinese screens make phones lag,even not boot up.
I forgot to add that I get sound at the boot animation but after that no sound at all
I have installed costum rom F14 on the 4.4.2 android version. It makes the modified boot noise and the sound works for for a few minutes, only sometimes but.

. For the past few days my phone has been crashing and turning off randomly, when the phone is off the charger. The screen just goes black and Shuts down. When I try to reboot the phone it will get upto the boot animation and then freeze and shutdown again. I have to connect my phone to a charger and then reboot, only then does it fully boot up. My battery is 100% btw.
What I have done so far is:
1) flashed the latest build of exodus
2) cleared dalvik and cache
3) flashed an earlier build (25/07) without flashing XPOSED and SUPERSU. However problem still present.
Can someone help please and tell me what other steps I can take. My phones important to me at the moment as I'm away in Turkey for an internship. It's a really strange problem I can't figure out what to do. Thanks alot
Did you try to go bacm for stock oneplus OS? Try to do a full recovery via the tool it will wipe root twrp back to stock. It may help.
Does it happens with other roms?
hi, i solved the problem by flashing stock oxygen. i tried flashing oxyslim and cyanogen however both of them still had the same problem. Anybody have a idea of why this might have happened? it was completely random, and if it was the kernel then it would have been solved when i flashed the other roms...strange

It could be that te ROMs u DL were corrupted. This happens, thats why is always good yo verify HASH from your dl ROM and HASH from the developers topic

Hope someone can help. I had an issue with an app the other day which I think caused my phone to overheat.
Since then I have had a major issue with the phone freezing. I tried to install stock through odin which was fine but the phone freezes during the boot logo sequence, and the stock Rom won't load.
The phone freezes in the Rom, recovery and when booting.
I have managed to install lineage Rom as this doesn't take long to install or boot up. So I have the Rom running for anything from 10secs to about 40secs then it freezes and eventually reboots.
I have had red messages come up saying cannot mount or demount data and system when factory resetting when in recovery.
Is it a faulty part inside or does anyone have any ideas on what I can Do?

Bro post in s7 edge help section, this is for news, guides etc. Btw you can try smartswitch emergency recovery, put your serial no. and model no. there. If it fails too then reflash stock rom with normal CSC and repartition ticked in options, it will delete all data, so back it up before. If it still freezes and reboots after fresh stock rom install, then there is surely something wrong with your phone.
