All,
This is my first post here so I apologize ahead of time if I didn’t place in the correct forum.
Currently I have a Droid X that I have rooted, and I am currently using the Rubix focused 1.9.5 (Unthemed) ROM. Prior to installing the ROM I was able to use my VPN connection, and since installing the ROM I am unable to do so. I also used the most recent Apex ROM with the same outcome.
I am connecting to a CISCO ASA, I am using the tun.ko module and OpenVPN installer and OpenVPN settings, with Get-a-Robot VPN to connect.
BusyBox is installed by default in these ROMS – correct?
I am wondering what I am doing wrong, please provide assistance.
Many thanks in advance!!

Hi
Does anyone know whether Nexus One support connecting to PPTP VPN or not?
Thanks.
Yes it supports PPTP.
Yup, in Settings you'll find VPN config. It supports PPTP and various flavours of IPSec, along with Cisco VPN concentrators with Cyanogen's Bacon mod.
It would be interesting if someone got OpenVPN working with Android. I know there's a port for the client but it only works the Community edition and not the Access Server

in principle OpenVPN IS already working on Android.
Check-out TunnelDroid (search for the app in the market, in the market description is a link to the related websites).
It apparantely works on the DROID etc... but what we need for Nexus One is the right tun.ko module for the kernel.... the DROID tun.ko doesn't work on Nexus....
...
I have openvpn working on my n1. Openvpn is embedded into Cyanogen mod already. Download tunneldroid from the market and follow the instructions in the readme file found on the tunneldroid website.
Hi Guys,
if possible could someone compile a tun.ko compatible with the desire HD?
would i need to be running a particular kernel or should the module work with some OC\UV kernels out there?
Cheers for your help guys
Mark

[Q] VPN can not work? Nook Color [ROM][CM7.2-RC0] MiRaGe - KANG Update 02012012

This problem happened on my NC too...
Any solutions?
I am here on a VPN server with that ROM. I know that many people need a specific VPN, but DroidVPN is working for me.
My vpn requires cisco anyconnect - never did get it working.
hi everybody !
I need a working EAP-SIM auth on wifi. So i modified wpa_supplicant.conf, like described here but it doesn't work. I found that the problem seems to be that the version of wpa_supplicant (0.6.x) in many Roms doesn't support EAP-SIM (I'm on Cyanogenmod 7.2). I would like to know if its possible to upgrade wpa_supplicant to 0.8 or patch it. If it's not possible is there a rom out there where wpa_supplicant v0.8 is implemented. It seems to work with freemobile stock rom S5360XXLK3_S5360FRELI1_S5360XXLK3_HOME, but i'd like to stay on AOSP Rom's.
Sorry for my bad english.
