I all...in all rom android from nand i've tested,i cannot reboot my leo while is in charging...when i power off it,led power off for a second,then switch on again to notify the charging status but if i want to restart my phone it isnt possiblo:must reset by red button under battery cover or pullout the battery!!!
I've flash 3 roms but for all is the same...your experience please
This issue remains unsolved. You can either press the softreset button or pull out the battery and put it back again.
You should read carefully, the issue was known when it was published.
Id recommend not to turn the phone off while charging.

My Friends HTC Herald won't turn on. I tested the battery with multimeter and it shows that it is charging but none of LED`s are on when it is charging. I have no idea what could have happened. Please help!

If it won't go into bootloader and it won't turn on, then it might be dead, unfortunately.
I want to tell that it turned on one time, but SIM card was not inside so it had to be turned off, but after that it did not turn on.

is your phone back on? this happened to me recently. mine is hard spl'd. i tried pressing different button combinations like the power button and the 2 soft keys and it finally turned on. resurrected!

Me too same PB ...
I have complet out de moter board and i seen noffing be wrong but cant boot or chargin / no LED too / and the battery still OK....

search for "ghost" "key presses", nothing relevant so here we go, hope to get a response on this one or I am going back to another ROM
I am getting really bad ghost key presses with this ROM, I used them with WINMO roms but a fix was released. This suggests the screen driver for Android is not yet stable and needs more DEV or is it just me that is having this problem. Sometimes it is so bad I feel like dropping back to winmo, yes I know it is that bad.
issue 1:
Sometimes all the keys around that key I am pressing fire and not just once, several times, mostly on edges of screen.
Issue two:
Sometimes when I have finished a word I get lots of ghost presses and random characters as if I am running my fingers all over the keyboard.
Could my screen be faulty?

I saw that, however the problem pretty much goes away on winmo ROMS, dont want to go to the bother of removing spl/mag and android to send it for repair if it isnt broken, are you 100% positive my screen is damaged?
Yes dude ...100% sure ...when i had this problem it was negligable on the windows mobile and more on the android builds...its sooo anoying ....just get ur screen replaced ...u will start loving android buils

Well since trying WP7 - when i switch my phone off and plug in the charger it automatically reboots.
I thought it may be a wp7 problem but now i have switched to a nand Desire z build (by dandiest) and i have the same problem..
Anyone have this problem? or know of a fix?
Thought it might be a charger problem but surely if the connectors were faulty it wouldnt allow me to flash various roms...
I have googled but no luck..

I dont understand this exactly, so do your phone turn off or does it reboot? Or does it reboot, when you TRY to turn it off while the charger is pluged in? If this is the case, then its working like it should. (i guess, you are allready on magdlr 1.13)

Yeah it turns on when the charger is plugged in..
Its a "Feature" bit of a strange one..I didnt read the Magldr thread because i didnt think that would be the problem.

That was the only way cotulla could fix the problem of charging while off with magldr. With earlier versions, if you charged while off, it would not boot until you took battery out and replace... and people complained and wanted a fix, so he fixed it the only way possible: by making the phone boot up when connected to charger while off. You can go to earlier version of magldr if you want it the other way. Or just charge phone while it's on.

It's better than it not turning back on after turning it off while charging it.
I rather go with the new 113 version. i hate that i have to take the battery out since my case is pretty hard to pull out and put back in. I can't think of any con with phone turning on while plug in when off.

Hold the power button while it's powering on. That'll get you into MAGLDR.
i was charged my hd2 and it never waked up.only a black screen.anyone can help me?

Does it boot into bootloader(tri-color screen)?
sorry for putting the post in wrong place.it never happen something like this before.when i had wm i did a soft reset or removing the battery and everything was ok.now i dont know what happent.and all i did was to put the phone to the charger

You have to hold the volume down button AND the power button at the same time in order to get to the screen with the three colours (bootloader screen)
nothing.it seems like the buttery to be dead.maybe is butterys problem?or there is a chance the screen to be burned?

Read carefully before continuing. I suggest you start with a wipe (task29) then install MAGLDR - BUT ONLY IF YOU HAVE ALREADY PLAYED AROUND WITH NAND ROMS. If your phone is still a Windows Mobile device rather study this section before you do ANYTHING!

mine goes to bootloader without having to hold the power button down.

I don't believe it's possible to power on the device by any way other than the power button unless physical changes are made - ie soldering

Hey.... i had the same problem last week... atfirst I didn't realise what was going on, but then i realise it was my power button... The phone gets booted up automacally, screen turns on automatically... It bothered me for one days I guess... Then everything got ok again...
And yeah this @shadman0 is very confusing....
