An appeal to all the senior members of this forum :(

Hello Everybody,
As we all know that GENE (P3400 and P3400i) are the cheapest Windows mobile phones available in the market and most of the people, who wanted to try this wonderful platform for so many years but didn't have the budget to buy the devices, have finally got their chance to try it. And one of the most luring upgrade for these phones is the Windows Mobile 6.1 ROMs, which are said to be faster and a little more feature rich than the Windows Mobile 6, which ships by default on the newer GENE devices, the Post March 2008 P3400 and P3400i phones.
Now all the ROMS that are currently on this forum, do not apply to these phones due to changes in the SPL and other parts of ROM. The version no of SPL, ONBL and OS for these apps varies between 1.10.0000 to 1.17.0000.
I can understand that it must be tough to crack these roms, but you are the heros who have done it in the past, and the reason for not being a single rom available for these phones is not this, according to what i feel. It may be ignorance, lack of time etc.
So on behalf of all the owners of these device, i brought up this appeal to all you that please take out some of your precious time and please try building a solid solution to this problem. Please try to port at least one Windows mobile 6.1 ROM (possibly with Manila 2D of Opal ) for these devices. I am sure many of us will feel greatful of you all.

Great News Guys! Ankit360 has found the ultimate working solution for upgrading newer P3400i phones to Windows Mobile 6.1.

It will first make your mobile dead and then recover using the Orekflov's Unbricker and then you'll be able to flash it to the rom of your choice.
Currently, only one rom is available for the P3400i, that is LomLom's Fusion 9. Find a link to it on the same URL.

Its very odd that there are hardly any cooked ROMs available in this forum! I joined xda vox forum and there are atleast 10 developers (No GREAT PEOPLE) who literally cook ROMs day in and day out. And most of their products are great, actually you will never want to use the Official ROM ever again , be it fh, fireburned or Dr. G (minus the Rose ROM ), sk.
I hope we will soon find some come cooked ROMs in this forum without the useless stuffs of official ROM.

Some people prefer WM os 'cause they see it a little more "in their style"

I think it's possible ... htc touch2 and htc tattoo is different only in appearance masks, sprecifikacija them is the same

doesn't work on tattoo, different drivers, and wtf, wm sucks, even if i develop software for wm. Like i saw on other posts, if you don't like android because linux is hard, just sell the phone and buy wm phones.

Write the corresponding winmo drivers for tattoo and then it'll work - have fun, since this is a hell of work coming towards one

guys i have Jade which has the same specs as the Tattoo and they guys at the jade section have been trying the reverse of what u want and it seems impossible so i got this one just to try out the android so i think its the same here so if u really wana try Winmo 6.5 then buy a winmo

A few weeks ago, there is a ROM developer, sorry I don't remember the name, has put out this ROM, and back then, I didn't have the time to install it until now. The ROM turn-out to be one of the best for my phone(HD2), but than the thread was deleted, due to some issue...
I do not want create another trouble thread here, just want to know who the developer is..., please.

Try go into the settings on your phone. Setting>About Phone usually the rom builder will credit himself or herself somehow on this page.

Sorry rom was not allowed on xda and I no want to discus about that rom (don't understand why, maybe becouse is the best? ), in anyway I haven't plan to use another rom (for now, until I see an better for my usage)!

Might give this a try aswell since I have some issues with the original ICS roms...

Even though I prefer ADW. Is there a similar ROM without the GO launcher available some where?

any one can tell me what is the recommended Android version for my HTC HD2 and whether NAND or SD ? coz i've tried the 2.3.7 version (SD) , but after i reboot my mob. it returned to WM 6.5 ..... neither the android launcher or Android folder did work

I would recommend Android nand over sd. I have built a competely stock MIUI rom, that uses the latest miui available. It is stable.

If someone gave me 1$ every time a person asked that, I would be rich haha

Don't even need to recommend, nand IS better than sd. It's more stable and has a better battery life.

It's normal that your device starts WM 6.5 after a reboot, when you had flashed any SD-Build. You have to start your Android in WM.

As for me it's more stable, than HyperDroid

nand is a way to go
typhoon is one of the best roms out there try 3.7.5 though(newest kernel is a bit unstable)

Nand is better in battery drain as said above.
Try Dorimanx Rom's, their pretty fast and absolutely stable.

Trapped in the latest Pixel Experience update

Maybe some users have heard about closing the Android 10 ROM development (pixel experience). The purpose of this thread is made to overcome the complaints of users. And maybe a solution will be found.

why what is the problem is android 10 of pe closing only for our device??
provide some extra info pls I need to know much about this

I also have this issue, I installed the 10.0-20200124-1501 version and now I can't update, not even install another room, is not possible anymore. I don't find anywhere any solution to this. If someone knows, it would be more than welcome.
