maybe if you logged in proper... in the URL is the usernameassword combination - your browser may not support that URL schema or supports it but refuses to work with it. Try a dedicated FTP client if that may be the case.

and.. btw, it's PDF file (acrobat reader). I tried to copy it to my wizard, but i don't have the acrobat reader. I installed Acrobat reader 2 from adobe.com, but it won't open. Any suggestion for acrobat reader on PPC ?mine is XDA Mini S with WM5.

I don't think that file would open in a PPC acrobat reader - it's fairly large (heavy on images). That said, try:

Was kind of wondering that myself.
Interestingly in the trouble shooting section It states that using an SD card will reduce the battery life.

I'm a little late hopping in on this thread...

i found an easy way to make quick apps for websites

i tried to make my first app right away
My first app is for Filgoal.com (Egyptian football news website)
that app is totally based on RSS feeds and a youtube Channel
after trying the app i found a serious bug
the bug is when you load the first line of the news it loads normally but when i press back and load the second line of the news it loads the first one!!!!
i found out that all the news are shifted by one
of course i don't know how to fix this so i attached the whole app and waiting for anyone who finds where the bug is and how to fix it

Yes, i am trying to steel the way for the scrolling, it seems that this guy added the webcontrol on a scrollable panel. that could be the solution for my problem the other things, i don't know the code is to modular to check it quick out, sorry.
By the way this example is from arun.sd this guy send me the Premium Partner E-Mail as i entered it, i think he is one of the main bada developers, and he is realy good, respect.

You could post to his topic on the developer page there he should look out sometimes

Already tried it with several sites and the same bug exist in all of them
when i get it fixed i'll make a one for XDA of course
maybe you can make for you sites too and give it a try it is really cool with its youtube feature

Already made XDA app put there is a bug also so it can't get data from RSS feeds on the bada forums
it now can get data from the portal,twitter and XDA TV
to me it is useless because it doesn't support bada in anyway(the whole world in it revolves around Android and WP7)
it is pointless to release it now
will try with Arun to find a fix for it too

could you send me your sourcecode? i will fix your problem. please make a file called

found another fix for the UI to make the Logo pic over the articles bigger to fit all that area

2)Search for LOGO_MAX_HEIGHT
3)Change values as below

PLEASE HELP ME!!!! My motoactv cant sync to Motocast ID, error 1810.

I´ve donde a lot of things, reset to stock settings, even try with another Motocast ID, I´ve created a new motocast ID, and nothing works, I hope you could help me

There is no device specific for the motoactv. I'm having the same issues too, still trying to find a solution. Glad I'm not the only one in this boat

Yes, the website Motocast is down, but the site motoactv.com is OK (for the moment)
I have think this. Is impossibile now login in motoactv with the credential because the motoactv don't speak with the site motocast.
But if someone know the correct link of the motocast request by motoactv, and know the code of confirm by motocast, is possible create one local site in my computer and crete one rule of routing in my router for redairect to this fake site.
Then, someone know the correct link of the motocast and the code of confirm?

HI Everyone, I recently went through this and the best solution (which I think is even better than the moto stuff), is the TCX Exporter by SuperDave. Everytime you do a workout it creates a file on the motoactv that you can upload straight to your favorite workout tracking site. I personally use strava as my primary workout is biking. Here is the link to the exporter: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1842658
only caveat is that you have to hook it to your computer for the upload, but for me it is so much nicer to have it all on strava.

Need help fixing an app

Hi all, I'm attempting to modify/fix someone else's app. The app is a forum reader. It used to be on the Play store, but has now been removed.
I still use it, but it doesn't work properly. I'd like to fix it to continue using it. This is for my personal use only.
Basically, I can reply to threads/make new posts, but I can't create new threads. (There is other stuff I'd like to change as well).
Could anyone help? I won't attach the app here now, I'm not sure if I can post it, as the app doesn't belong to me. (Can anyone confirm?)

You can post the app as long as its not a paid for application (posting paid apps is warez).
As for modifying/fixing it though, you'd have to use apktool to edit it and even then you wouldn't be able to work in java, it would be in smali which is a pain in the ass to work with.

I'm using Virtuous Ten Studio to edit the app.
My main issue is creating new threads. In the app I have this;

The forum uses the same command to post new threads, where the * is the sub-forum number.
I think the above string is correct, so I'm assuming the code is wrong elsewhere?

Need some help about WifiKill (ARP spoofing)

Hi all (sorry i can't put screenshots because it's my first post)
I come here because i don't found found what i need in french forums..
So i will explain really quick , so i want to use WifiKill in university because some guys
make internet sucks with the downloads, torrents etc.. and the network admin he don't make anything. I think this guy it's not always in the university. But i want to be careful.
So i want to know if it's possible to use the app anonymously in the network like hide my phone mac address something like that, and i have already try to use the app mac spoofer but when i launch WifiKill scan the app open a window who says "get_gw_info() failed" and the WifiKill network scan don't work.
And all computers are connected to a Apple airport express.
So if someone can help me..

Closing this thread. Using such an app on a public Wi-Fi network that isn't yours to begin with is probably not the wisest thing to do, and may even be illegal.
