This is a known issueon these forums, has to do with the the trackpad reacting to ambient light and thus make random jumps while typing.

[Q] Creaky keyboard

I have read a few threads on a few build quality issues but not mention this, if I have missed them then mod please feel free to delete.
Anyone else noticed this, its not a big deal but I noticed that when typing on the physical keyboard I could feel even hear a slight creak as I typed away. I worked out that this was being caused by the battery twisting and creeping its way slowly out of position. I have sorted this with a small ball of bluetack, no more creak.

Delays and lags

It takes a good few seconds
- Pressing the home button to wake up the screen
- calling someone
- answering the phone
- when a call is disconnected
Is this common?

What r u guys doing with your devices. I just did everything on your list and no lag. The only thing that happens is after a call ends, theres another screen that pops up with call back/videocall/message. Ive been running my device for 2 days now with zero problems.
Out of sudden there are so many thread about delay and lag. LOL. Never experience before with my device. Wonder what you all did. Hmm..
I didn't do anything. It was like this out of the box

[Q] Touch Screen Deadzone?

Hey guys I was just wondering if anyone else has been experiencing this issue. While typing sometimes my phone will randomly not be responsive on certain keys. Just those keys though for example I could be typing and then when I press "y" it won't register however all they keys surrounding it do "U" "T" "H". I can flip the orientation and get it but it can get quite aggravating. Any ideas?
Nope none at all I've seen this discussed before I have the same issue at times but only every now and then and yes it is aggrivating sorry I don't have the answer I would like.to.knoe the deal as well.....I.wonder do ppl that have stock phones ever have that issue....

Keyboard issue, gestures sometimes do not worko

Sometimes gestures on any keyboard i try randomly stop working (such as swyping or long press a letter for symbols). I found that if i press 2 keys simultaneously, it would fix the problem temporarily, until it stops working again. Also if i press 2 keys simultaneously when gestures are working, they will stop working. Whats up with that?! Another problem is when the gestures stop working, sometimes random keys such as the letter 'e' will not work. This is getting really frustrating and annoying. I am running a custom rom, dark unicorn v2.5 but this issue has happened with all the other roms ive tried, including the stock from htc.
Anyone know how to fix this or are experiencing the same? This is my second device (the first had some issues and i had to get it replaced) and this problem appeared on both devices I've had.

Knock-on sometimes unresponsive

Does anyone else have the problem that sometimes your phone requires some real *****-slapping to wake up via knock on? Sometimes it wakes right up but most if the time I have to knock five or six times.
I've tried knocking at different locations and at different intervals but I can't figure out the trick.

I don't have problems with knock on at all. In my case I've found that taping really quickly actualy reduces the sucess rate. Try moderae taps at stedy paste. Also if you cover proximity sensor it won't work. My guess is that it's a "pocket safety" feature to prevent self wake up.
A little bit of practise and you'll get there
No problem at all here, just like double-clicking a mouse:highfive:
but from my experiment, the center area is more responsive than the side, try it with light tap
Hi guys noob question here: I don't have any problems with knock knock but I thought there is supposed to be a knock sound when taping on phone? I can't figure out how to enable the knock sound..can someone help? Thanks
