[APP] Internet Explorer 8.12

Hello,
Is it posible to download IE Mobile 8.12 somewhere on the internet?
I already searches xda, but i can only find IE Mobile inside a rom. I just want IE mobile cab ore something to install on my exsisting rom.
And if there is one, does it work on my 6.1 rom?

you could download wm6.5 rom sone beta 7 if you are using a diamond. i have tried it but went back to ie6 because this one has many bugs. anyways if you want to try it most 6.5 cooked rom have it.

yes i know, already tried wm6.5 beta 1. its a good rom but also got some bugs. thats why i went back to wm6.1.
but a realy liked the IE mobile 8.12.
so my question is: is it posible to download and install it on my wm6.1?

Ha ha, Microsoft ist not still ready with the 7 one and thye are offering a 8.2 version...pretty funny....!!

if you dont believe me download this rom by yourself, and look at the version of the IE.

you don't need to get ugly so fast, the 7 version is still a buggy beta version, what dou you want with that one...!! but is Ok you can have it.
By the the way, I was not laughing about you but Microsofts release politic...!!

If somebody installs this, can we have some bug reports or performance issue posted here. Any microsoft beta release make me think of BSOD

i registered my self to the forum and downloaded the file.
but i cant install it.
it says; the installation of IEmobile 8.12 whas unsuccesfull.
maybe someone is familiar with this problem?

WM 6.1Pro. (Build 19971.1.2.6)

Well,for those who wanted the original ROM,here u go....The ROM is basic as it comes in the device...ive taken snaps and the applications ive installed are available with me and not loaded in the ROM...the ROM is fast,but ive added OMAP CLOCK PLUS to increase the clockspeed to 276 MHz....till now i am having no problem with this ROM and hope no one complains too....
It contains all the features a Stock ROM would have...At start-up,i have 34-35% memory usage.ROM version is 1.35.720.2 WWE.

Please Note....memory usage as in the attached pics may differ to the actual specified value after flashing the ROM because i have installed heaps of applications starting from dialers to advanced configuration tools...if any1 needs more info on that,please PM.

Ya but better keep it out of the ROM...let it be a custom install...Don't want to any one to complain...and if its a OC ROM,u cant e1 warn any1 to flash it on their own risks...i mean no 1 will flash with the fear of doing sumthing wrong...Also there are reports that the OC ROM by Pajerm[Beta 2] couldn't be installed,but the Non OC did well...so think twice and execute decisions...

I already looked around for emulators, a lotta ppl said the only way to test was on your device so thats wat i am doing now.

Just reset the device from the bootloader mode(the tricolor screen) or reflash the WM 6.1 from the forum...to follow the reflashing process,download the .nbh from the forums and then put that file(after extracting) into the installation package...then simply enter the rom update utility(RUU) and then follow the on screen instructions thereby...best of luck...again,if u find this difficult,do post your grievances.

No there aren't any problems.

I tried your Rom
Dude I tried it.
It has a Bug,when you use YouTube app,strange noise comes in middle and sound goes off.
Then you have to restart the device to Bring back the Sound.
But Speed and Stability are Fantastic.Hats Off

Ahh. Glad u still using it. The thing is I never used the YouTube app as I wasn't much into it.also, I kept it simple although yes, the YouTube thing is a stock app. So it is likely that after a year of release, you have found out some bugs but as per today, I am sure I am not developing anything for opal.

Well, I did this custom install now and after installing almost(!) everything but not the crappy panels and some other unnecessary stuff (for me!), I have now: Storage: 221.80 with 136.17 available, and Program: 191.55 w 107.46 available.
Which is great, expecially since this crap phone had before only 80MB available. At least some more... and also, since I did NOT install the SlideView, I have so far no issues with hangs, reboots or any other malfunction. Just make sure you install all those little un/important cabs!!!
And all works well.

Strange problem with WMDC on Leo-Kitchen

I cook rom's with SYS 23696...initially everthing was fine. But anytime my rom just only connectet to my pc once after flashing. When i try to connect my leo after reset, it doesn't work. Connecting via mass storage is ok...but WMDC doesn't work.
Any idea?

Uncheck 'Faster Data Transfer' and see if it works

Know, what U're meanin'...but it was workin' since i've changed anything in my kitchen.

yeah i know , it is very frustrating when something was working and now it doesnt work...i have a similar problem with Manila album.

anyway ,first of all, it is a really nice rom,i like it ...how can you have an only 130 mb nbh? what you didnt cook inside? lol
So far:
It sync fine even after a soft reset, the problem is that after the soft reset Manila won't start.
Your build log should be more usefull to know the problem.

Sense is everytime startin'...sometime you've just to touch on screen. That's in every rom you flash
Only 130mb?...That's MY secret...and only MY secret!

What rom and radio are u using??

Maybe you should read more. You have to actually do a bit more than just put the files on the SD card.

Radio version: 2.07.51.22_2
I tried to put a new radio on, but to be honest it was a failure lol

Instructions:
- Extract the Android folder (with all files in in) to root of your SD Card. THIS IS IMPORTANT.
- After copying everything to your SD Card ensure you have at least 1200 Mb free space for data store.
- Go into Android folder(using your phone) and tap CLRCAD (for working sound), and after that just tap HaRET.
- On first run when there is “Creating a new datastore” just give it time to complete, and on first boot be patient and give it time to load everything.

Thank you, but ive read these numerous times. you have to understand i am an absolute noob at all of this. haha
my particular problem is that the android rom starts to load up and i get the tiny text on the top left hand corner of the screen, then it slowly fades away... and nothing.. its extremely frustrating! haha

this is normal.. leave it running a bit longer (takes a few minutes for the first boot to create a data store.. then it should boot up

Correct me if im wrong but any radio that has 2.xx.51.xx_x
That .51 being the main problem for some reason. You need to put a radio that has .50 in it. For instance mine is 2.12.50.02_2
Note the .50 in it. You need to first flash hard spl using this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=611433. MAKE SURE YOU READ THE WHOLE POST BEFORE DOING ANYTHING. Once thats complete you have to flash a new radio, which is actualy pretty easy using this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=611787 and this custom ruu file http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=4798017&postcount=1
I know this probably all sounds like alot, but trust me my friend I was also a noob when I first did all this.
