Does anyone know how to get this to work in landscape, I have the trial version by the way and a search did not help me.
Turn the phone sideways? Make sure autorotate is on.

Hi guys
Does anyone know if there is a fix for this bug as mentioned on the Gyrator website help page? In fact, does anyone get this bug or just a special few??
Q. When I rotate to any new orientation, the phone application pops up, or the today/manila screen appears?
A. As you'll probably know, orientation is disabled by default on the Diamond, because the HTC developers are either too incompetent, or lazy, to build applications which are orientation aware. As such, strange things happen with either Gyrator rotates the screen, or you use any other application to do the same thing.

Yes, it is a PITA. I'm using a file called "rotator-netxscale-2003-4k-v420". It brings up a box on top of other apps to change the screen around. I have it programmed to the down volume button with AEBplus. The trick is never to switch the screen orientation while in TouchFlo3D. If you start your app first then activate the above program to change the screen it is all good, if you go to the TouchFlo 3D interface...it is not a happy camper. Unlike the normal WM Today Screen, TouchFlo3D Home is allergic to landscape.
I use Gyrator2, and TouchFLO is disabled by default in the settings, preventing it from being re-oriented if the device is turned. If you do a little searching, you'll find more threads that can help you configure Gyrator2 to stop the phone app, including incoming calls, from re-orienting. Plus, you can add any app you want in the settings. One I added was the Bubble Breaker game, which would restart a new game automatically if you turned the phone...
The same thing can also be done with MobileMagic.
Just deny auto rotation to the the apps that do not like
to be rotated or that rotate them self, like Teeter.
Thanks for the info chaps but i think that there is a bug in the system which SOMETIMES pops up the phone or manilla when i rotate an app (opera or tomtom mainly) from portrait to landscape using any method (gyrator, gsen or handymenu). It seems that these apps (phone, manilla) dont like any change of orientation even when they are in the background and opera or tomtom is rotated.
I have changed the gyrator2 .ini file to make no apps rotate except the ones i want to. Not even that works........
Any more help please?

Hmmm, donĀ“t have that Problem. Dunno why, but it works as it should.
Hi, just found a bug using gyrator on my new touch HD when typing a message in landscape mode. The dot (.) and comma (,) are inverted, so trying to type one of them gives the other as a result. Haven't yet tried without gyrator if the keybord gives the same problem, and will post it here later on.
Thanks
This is a fix for the rotation problem where you close your keyboard and it does not rotate back. In order to fix this problem you can not rotate the screen with the keyboard in but since i never do it that way its a great fix for me so i thought i would post for others who feel the same way. If you want source code so you can add exceptions for certain apps drop me a pm and i will send it to you.
I want to give a big thanks to robp for helping me with this if you want to donate, donate to him - https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=9432507.

Rotate to Landscape with G sensor
It would be nice if anytime we turn the Tilt 2 to landscape the screen would go to landscape without the need to slide the keyboard open. Any fix to do this?

Actually, there are quite a few ways to do this. I personally use Changescreen, but there are other ones such as Gyrator and G-config which also work just as well.
all of those above will work but will not work with my app so you get one or the other
Finally i found the right person who can help me with that

I was just replying to ADVANCE's question, I didn't mean to imply that it would fix the screen rotation problem, since I'm honestly not sure if those do that or not

my response was not meant in a negative way. I was just pointing out that the way my app works is different and if you used one of those apps with my app installed it would keep rotating back to portrait
Mine just doesn't work. Does anyone else have this problem? Any one have a possible solution?
Mine works in landscape mode. In portrait mode, I have to use home/menu/notifications to get there. It's like the touch on that row is dead or something.
Any insights as to a fix would be appreciated. I have tried reboot, soft reset, and a factory data reset.
I started a thread on this yesterday the title is:
"I can't be the only one with this problem...."
I am too new here to be able to post links
It might be.. a bad screen.
There is a app that test the input response to touch. I do not remember the name of it... I was used to show how the nexus 1 screen was better touch response.
Use that to see it the top of your screen works

The app in question is called Multitouch Vis Test. Search that exact term on the Android Marketplace and it will come up.
Does anyone know if it's possible to setup auto-correct on the hardware keyboard? Or at least make sure it's consistent? Sometimes it seems like it'll auto correct some words (like now "im" automatically changes to "I'm") but others times notsomuch.
Anyone else noticing this? Anyone else annoyed by it?

Well, that's embarrassing. Thanks for the heads up - I can't believe I missed that.

It is in an odd place under touch input - I first read that as on-screen keyboard, but in my searching I happened across it.
Glad I could help
If you have your on screen keyboard changed to swype those settings don't do anything, if it isn't obvious.
Correction and prediction doesn't work in the HTC messaging app no matter what the settings.

This may explain a lot. My ROM does not provide me with any option other than "Touch Input."
I have been trying to get back that Blackberry autocorrect feeling, but the other threads that suggest hacking the reg to switch compime for et9ime always screwed up my hardware keyboard.
If you use SwiftKey you'll get auto correct with hardware keyboard.

Swift key if the way to go with hardware key board... It's amazing. I use keyboard manager to have swift key in land scape and swype in portrait. Perfect combo

Hello,
I have a DESIRE HD with the latest official rom, but I have trouble with my auto-rotate.
Only with the application NaviPanel HTC, impossible to get rotation on the navigation map.
You have the same problem? And I already tried the factory reset. For example the DESIRE Z, the rotation works with this App.
If you know how to turn on the rotation on this application or modify the registry or other, tell me.
Thank you.
Up ! Help me please...
Its the same for me, the original Navipanel app doesn't work in landscape mode.
But if you look at it when it loads, holding the Dhd in on its side, it looks like it starts in landscape mode and is then somehow forced back into portrait mode.
I'm use Car Dock Home v3 now, works in landscape mode if you use the correct setting, no autorotation though.
Ok, now wait update from HTC for this ?
