Bell Galaxy Tab = Tmobile & AT&t
As far as I know they are virtually the same and following Tmobile flash for phone calls directions worked great for me.
*but unless you read otherwise , avoid roms with #########JM# as i heard they may be unflashable once flashed to your device.*

i flashed jm6 ... i want to change rom . does this mean im screwed?
Did your 3g service work after you flashed for phone calls?
I have the Bell Galaxy Tab and after flashing Roto's JME the phone app was enabled and it totally works. Tested with Bell and Fido simcards.

I currently have a i-9000, the 3 button version in my hand.
I'm trying to use this for T-mobile.
Somehow, I was lucky to get 3 button PDA file for JFD.
I have been using it ever since for my t-mobile account,
however...
I'm in big urge to try the ROM.
I already have rooted and done several things with my brother's
vibrant version of Galaxy S, as there is many ROM's out there for it.
However, obviously, it is impossible to find ROM for I-9000 that is
designated for T-mobile U.S. version.
Is there anyway I can solve this problem..
I know that.. if I tried something like..
rooted i-9000 with any I-9000 rom on this forum won't work,
nor can I flash the modem file only after flashing ROM on the device.
What is possible solution?
My ultimate goal is to Froyo this i-9000 and use it as T-mobile USA.
Just wondering, why the need for a TMobile ROM?
The hardware is different, so it's prob not a good idea anyway. Your i9000 doesn't support the AWS band needed for 3G on T-Mobile, so you're prob stuck on EDGE. You might as well just use i9000 Euro froyo.
I want to use the I-9000 for T-mobile USA.
That's why I want to do this.
Currently, I have JFD installed and its working flawlessly,
but I'm thinking about loading a rom, but being cautious
Hi. I bought my Tab on CraigsList in Canada and was able to root successfully with z4root. The Tab has no phone software installed, but apparently has all the require hardware. It has some BELL apps on, but it is obviously no locked (?) since it has no phone capability. I'm thinking of flashing it with a ROM that allows me to use the phone. In the "Developers" section they talk a lot about device identification i.e. AT&T, Sprint, TMobil etc, etc., but I'm not sure which category my TAB falls into........all I know is that is has a few Bell apps on it.
I'm obviously quite new to the TAB and android and would appreciate any enlightenment on this.
Thank you.
Did you manage to identify your tab?
I also got a bell tab.

After flashing the Euro JM6 FW, I was able to dial, *#7465625#, and saw that my Tab was Network Locked. I then follwed Rotohammer's hex editing method to unlock the phone.
see: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=843323
I then flashed Rotohammers rooted JMC FW and my Tab is now working great.
Good luck on your venture.
Thank you!

Hi All,
Got a GS4 i9505 originally locked to Vodafone, had to downgrade modem firmware to unlock to all networks - put in a Three sim - gives me signal but for emergency calls only - No data, no texts and no calls.
upgraded the modem firmware again - no change.
But a stock rom on - No change
Rooted and put a custom rom on - no change.
Tried a different sim (EE) and doesnt give any signal.
Everything now points to the IMEI being blocked right - Nope, checked that and its not blocked.
So im stuck, any ideas?
Thanks all
Where did you get the phone from? New or used? What firmware where you on and what are you on now?

OP, what country are you in?
The reason I ask is there is no such thing as three in Australia any more, it was closed down on the 31st august.

Send my E-960/S4 LTE/N2 GSM and /Galaxy Y to xda
Thanks for the replies.
The phone is second hand - apparently it was "unlocked" for 3 when i got it - even though it had a Vodafone bloatware rom on it.
Im from UK - :/ but thanks for the suggestion.
Its on 4.2.2 - stock rom - it was on a custom rom (not sure what though)
When you say Modem, do you mean the hardware or software?
If it is the modem, how would the 3 sim get signal but an EE sim wont?
Thanks
Hello, I have a weird problem with my Galaxy S4 I9500. It was working normally then when I flashed the new stock 4.4.2 rom to it I lost connection to network, I see Emergency Calls Only instead of my network operator and I get a message "Not Registered on Network". But when someone calls me they say that the phone rings however it doesn't ring for me and I can't make calls or use 3G internet with it, I tried to flash all the modems available online but none worked for me. I got the same problem before with my previous galaxy S3 I9300 but I was able to solve it using patched kernel and patched modem done by a member here on XDA. I searched everywhere for a patched modem or kernel for galaxy S4 but I couldn't find one. I already had a back-up for my EFS and restored it but still the same problem.
Any help will be really appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Flash another modem. Use the search.

I'm sure this has been asked before, but when in the forums and I have my phone selected (Galaxy S4 Canadian on Virgin Mobile SGH-1337M), it recommends a few roms that I'm interested in. Anyone know if I'm able to install this even though the notes seem to speak to i1905 phones?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2537495
I installed a few i9505 ROMs to my i337m and they booted with no problems. I didn't use them for very long as I had to return to stock to make sure I had a working phone on an out of town trip.
