[Q] Another noob question about apps - Wildfire General

Hi, with help from these forums i have rooted my Wildfire and got Wildpuzzle rom working on it.The next question is how do you download and install apps.
I go to market search for the app I want click download and the download icon appears in the bar at the top,but thats it.When I search the phone there is no trace of it.
I have created a G-mail account and wifi is working ok,I`ve also tried downloading to my pc an transferring them to the phone but still cant get any to work.I`ve searched the forums, but cant get installer apps to work either.
Anyone else had this problem with the Wildfire and found asolution?
Thanks again

It looks like the download doesn't start right? Try flashing a new patched market. Can't say anything else at the moment

[Q] please help me...

i am using HTC wildfire with the original room (not rooted)
and recently whenever i open any application with and ads for Google the internet browser opens alone and shows the add...so i keep closing it but it reappears again...i simply cannot use any application because of this.....please help me!!!!
Maybe u should make factory reset?
And if that doesnt work you should root ur phone and install a different ROM
Btw i have never heard of such an error before
thanks...
i did reset the phone but it did not work..
do you recommend any room??
I would recommend Cyanogenmod or Wildpuzzle cuz those roms are the most stable i think Or else just search the Htc wildfire forums for Roms u think are the best

connect your phone with internet and it should be downloaded automatically

Android Market "not compatible"

Hi,
I've got a problem with the Android market.
I'm running Hyperdroid on my HD2 and was trying to download the App "SlideIT" from the Market.
Unfortunatly there is no download or install button on the Market app on my phone.
I tried using the Market via the browser on my PC and there it says that "this app is not compatible with my HD2". So I can't install it from there either.
Is it possible to make the market think that I'm using a desire or something? Could anyone help?

dude, i think that the problem is in your android rom, the app u need , might not be capable on running on your rom. But there is always a way out.
Weather u can flash another rom, or rather if u dont want to do it u can simply go to 'THIS LINK' , u can download all the apps from your pc. and put the fil in to your mobile via disk drive.
open the file explorer
and just install the app, and enjoy.
"Dont forget to push the 'Thanks' button.
Well I was using the software (SlideIT) before on my rom, but accidantially deleted it. So it's working on my rom.
I guess the problem is the phone model name which seems to be transferred to the Market.
I mean there isn't any HTC HD2 Android device except for the ones with custom roms.
I guess it would be helpfull to change the modell name to Desire or something like that. But it doesn't seem to be possible.
As I bought the App in the market it seems there is no other way to get the (full) version anywhere else.
Is there a way to downgrade the Market app to the old version?
EDIT: found a way to downgrade to the old market version (http://www.addictivetips.com/mobile/how-to-downgrade-android-market-3-0-26-to-old-market-tip/) and with this one I can download the App again!

However, gud for u that ur problem is soled

New Market

Ok,i have the cm7 and my market upgraded to 3.2 itself.I like the new design but is REALLY slow for wildfire. Is there any way to have the new market in a light version for wildfire?
Nope sorry. Seems it works fine for some but terrible for others. Only way to get the speed back is to downgrade and disable/freeze the autoupdater.

sorry to thread jack but, the new market place its really annoying me atm i can't seem install Google Maps since it keeps saying there isn't enough space on the device but the thing is my wildfire has just been flashed with the newest CM 7.1.0.1 any ideas?
You can try one thing , install the app " Set DNS" and choose "open DNS"
Reboot your phone and it's really fastly
Any one got any ideas for my problem?
Flash cm7 nightly 219 first. Then flash google maps 5.4
