I am looking foor the dutch spelling checker and word completion file
I think it is this file
mssp2_nl.lex
It should be in the windows directory
could somebody please post it or sent it to me
is this the one that is used for the transcriber too?
since transcriber doensn't work very well in dutch, although it works great for writing english...
CIAO!
VOODOOS!L
I don't know I don;t use transcriber
Just found the file.
Unzip and copy mssp2_nl.lex into your windows directory.
In regedit go to lokalMachine/Software/Microsoft/Spellcheck
And change the string Main_Dict from \Windows\mssp2_en.lex
into \Windows\mssp2_nl.lex
Soft reset
Hi aage,
Does it work?
Wouter
I installed HTC Enlarge startmenu on the Xperia because it makes the startmenu and menues bigger and easier to use with fingers. But on the start menu I got the ordinary swedish icons for program and settings - but I also get the english icons and when pressing them nothing happens. How can I remove them or is there a "swedish" version of of the cab floating around ?
\windows\start menu\ ?

Got the same thing here, but i think i know why, there is different files in the swedish version of enlarge startmeny.cab, but i cant find it on the xda forum, maybe you could help me raise the question where to get it...
edit 1 solved!
replace 0409mui enlarge start with the swedish one named 041D in windows folder, then delete the other one named 0409, restart and voila!
Sweet! I've been having the same problem, great with a solution
This is a similar problem: I installed the "htc_ezinputxt9.cab" to get HTC's T9 phone input SIP, which worked properly. But after the installation, I no longer get word suggestions when typing with the slide-out QWERTY. Does anyone know a fix for this? Thanks

THE same, as U said, goto windows folder look up ezinput 0409 or whats its name, rename to 041d and then go to settings input and change language!!!
almost every thing called 0409 in win dir should be 041d for sweden versions of files, so download a rom and extract the content and copy the mui files thats named 041d...

Thanks! But the problem isn't with the actual EZInput, but when using the *keyboard*. I used to get word suggestions, and then you could press TAB+Space to select the word, but after EZInput they don't pop-up anymore...

Hi guys,
Thanks to Pool_13 I send you the mui file in spanish. After installing the program, you have to copy this file in the windows folder and deleting the original one. Soft reset and done.
I'm searching for a german version too!
I would like to change the English physical keyboard of my Dell Streak (Froyo) into German. The reason for this is that I use the German version of the Apple Wireless Keyboard (Bluetooth) and I write texts in German. Can someone post a file or script to copy it into my system? My Dell Streak ist rootet and I use Root Explorer. Thanks.
Hi,
I've made some keylayouts and keychars files to adapt the Logitech DiNovo BT keyboard for my streak.
You'll can find it be googling "Modaco DiNovo")
The basic process was to first find the proper keylayouts and keychars file name. This can be done by monitoring the adb logcat when connecting the BT keyboard (was "Logitech_________Bluetooth_Keyboard" for mine...)
Once that, you should try to find the proper scancodes for your keyboard (search with google the "keytest.apk" application from github)
Then you must adapt the kcm.bin and kl file to the correct keys
the kcm.bin is in binary format, use a binary editor for it (I used ultraedit)
Hope this will help.

I have found your post at MoDaCo but your instructions are too complicated for me. Is there a spelling app to change the "ae" into "ä", "oe" into "ö" etc by means of autocorrection?
Hi,
the ADAM has only a USB keyboard layout for QWERTY (USA), but I need a German layout.
I have tried to change the .kl file. It works for some keys, for example changing "Y" to "Z", but the special Germany character like Ö Ü Ä and so on I'm not able to add them. And I think I have to make some changes on the .bin file in the /keychars folder. But I really don't know how.
Does any one knows how I can create a special USB keyboard layout for german characters ?
Thanks,
Harvey
my german USB keyboard layout is ready. If you want use it, see here http://tabletroms.com/forums/showthread.php?78-HowTo-create-a-German-USB-keyboard-layout
I've got the
umts_milestone2-keypad.kl
umts_milestone2-keypad-hebrew.kcm.bin
files from the stock rom and changed their names to qwerty.kl qwerty.kcm.bin and replaced the files in the cm7 accordingly using the adb shell.
Now I can write in Hebrew using the keyboard but I can't write in English with the physical keyboard i.e. the TOGGLE_LANG (key 167 as it seems from the .kl file) button doesn't do anything.
Is there any way to make the TOGGLE_LANG switch between languages?
Also is there anyway to make the alt-lock button work?
Edit:
Well after a few more searches I've found out how to edit and build the KCM file and so I created a way for me to write en+he (base: he, alt:en, alt+shift:caps en).
but still the question stands unanswered so if anyone knows that'll be awesome. thanks
Hebrew Keyboard.7z contains the original KL and KCM files from stock.
Hebrew Keyboard2.7z contains the KL and KCM files with the en+he.
