[eclair] Google Says: "You don't have a network connection."

I wiped and loaded an Eclair 2.1 Rom (Community Signed v1.7 from HTMedia).
Added my APN, and Browser is working fine, and most apps go online and mobile network is working great.
Problem is: I can't access "Market" because the Google-signup/signon part says "you don't have a network connection"
I tried with WiFi also. No good.
Problem also existed in Community-Signed v1.6 of the Android 2.1 Leaked Rom.

I also have the same issue with Android 2.1 ROM (Community Signed v1.8)... Any fix or help will be appreciated

It works perfectly for me if I reboot the phone during the initial Google setup after the phone boots for the first time after an update. The setup will resume and you will be able to connect to your Google account.

Hi, When I use a MOBILE NETWORK, I cannot access my Google Mail (Gmail HTC) and even Yahoo accounts (HTC mail), and also cannot access the Market (The password isn’t valid / re-enter your password)! But when Usage WiFi, everything works perfectly.
PS: With a MOBILE NETWORK, I can use normally the browser.

[Q] X8 unable to connect to HTTPS

Hi guys,
I'm totally new to Android and XDA so please don't flame me into abyss
Well I followed several How-To's to install Android 2.2.9 on my Xperia X8.
All was fine I was happy...
But then i regocnized my Internet isn't working fine anymore.
First of all its slow as **** (maybe imaginary?) And sometimes it just stops loading
Well but that's not the reason why I'm here.
The reason why I'm here is that since I installed 2.2.9 I'm unable to connect to any HTTPS websites (such as login-pages)
Furthermore I can't log into Apps like Facebook, WhatsApp and so on...
In facebook i allways get the message: "SSL handshake failure, I/O Error during system call, Connection reset by peer"
Other apps are telling me nearly the same.
The browser says when entering a HTTPS site: "unable to create secured connection"
What I tried, to fix it (without profit):
1) Reinstalled 2.1 (with my backup file)
2) flashed old Baseband (006 instead of 015)
3) made hard reset
(4) put my SIM-Card into another Smartphone (there the Internet was 100% working)
Maybe someone of you got an idea?
I really like my new phone but without https and so its like: =(

anyone has found a fix for this problem? im having the same issues here. can't login to fb, google play store, and other sites which require login.

Wildfire CyanogenMod 7.1.0.1 GAPPS/Market problems

Just Installed a Clean version of CyanogenMod 7.1.0.1 Stable build, And GAPPS 20110828, But after I booted it it came up with the Google Account thing, And I tried to Sign in to my account and it said something like "Could not establish a connection" so I decided I would skip it and fix it later. Then for some reason the Android market does not even show in the apps, but it does show it is installed. I tried to install it over it again but nothing changed. Any Help?
BTW I'm not sure if I am posting this in the wrong section (Noob) So sorry if I am...

Try reflashing gapps... It should be there.. As for adding google account you can go to accounts and settings, add account and select google..

Well that was silly of me, All I needed to do was connect it up tp my wireless and add the google account, Thanks

[Q] No more googles services

Hello.
I'm using Endless7's CM7 with GB kernel and since a few days ( maybe a week or more ), all google services doesn't work any more ( gtalk, gmail sync' , google+ ).
Every program not related to google services work fine... So I decided to restore my phone using an sbf and flashing a fresh version of the rom.
Obviously, the problem still persists and now I can't log to my google account ( unable to connect to the server ).
Any one could help me ?

I have the same problem, and obviously I do the same thing but the problem still there

Try to install Milestone2Toolbox, allow root access, run it and tick "Fix google services connection".

[Q] AP4 Facebook

Hi, and thnks everyone for the great job.
I have a X7500 with AP4 rom installed
Everything was working exept wifi, and thnks again it is fixed now.
I have a problem with facebook.
I have install:
Facebook V.everything
Skybook
XDA Facebook V.all
everytime i get "can't connect to facebook please check you;re connected to the internet"
The only "Version" that have worked is when i access facebook page, download the app and run it.
But it is not apiering in the programms or add/remove programmes.
I bielieve it is a permitions error, but i don't know how to grant them
P.S
Time/date is ok.
Tried with 3G/Wifi(wpa/wep/open system)/usb shared connection
