[Q] Unlock with Samsung Professional Tools

I've got a T-Mobile Omnia 7 and need to unlock it, and I've found insructions for using Samsung Professional Tools and a USB cable to do it, only I don't want to try it and brick my lovely new phone!
Has anyone else unlocked an Omnia 7 using this method successfully?

Unlock Samsung i8700 Omnia 7
# Download and save it on your PC SPTCARD997(Samsung Professional Tools)
Dial ## 634 # and press call to enter Diagnosis Menu
# *# 7284 # and choose "Modem, USB Diag"
# Click OK to restart the device
# Connect the device to the USB
# Start SPTCARD997, select i8700.
# Choose SAMSUNG Mobile Model Diagnostic Serial Port
# Select unlock and click the Factory Mode.

Don't work for me, errors looking for a card reader...I assume you need another piece of hardware for it to work?

I bought credits for 15€ then unlocked it with success.
I took me 10 min with a standard micro usb cable abd the SRS tools

Sorry i haven't used this samsung Professional Tools to unlock the Mobile Phone.But i here suggest the unlock code method that will unlock the mobile Phone easily and step by step...You can buy the unlock code at here Onlinegsmunlock.com/samsung/rs7wp8/ and unlock it using the unlocking instructions...

Have anyone tried these?
I just cant get SPTCARD997 to work, even tried the actual version of this program. On windows 7 when i start the programs they exits right away without any clue, or error message. In xp they want some sort of storage card, and the program window behind the error message displays the text content with question marks, like the text was from another charset. I dont believe it, i even tried them on freshly installed windows x86/x64.
And the solution with the rom. My phone left locked after jj6 rom, so i dont think switching the rom is gonna solve the lock problem.
Can somebody help me?

hi i want to flash my htc touch dimond 2 but when in tri colour mode i conect it to pc . pc giving error usb device not recognised what shoud i do for it becous whithout contecd phone to pc i not able to flash it.

to resolve it, try installing the ms ActiveSync (for Win XP) or WMDC (Vista and Win 7) on your computer !

to flash the rom does not need to bring the device into botloader, simply connect your phone to your computer and wait until activesync /Windows Mobile Device Center admit and then run instead of .exe file (CustomRUU) at the rom

I think, you still can Flash ROM at your device using the Storage Card ! follow the guide at here ~ http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=7033683&postcount=3

thanks bro i understand all way to flash i download file and put it in blank mmc root dir with change name after that i press down volume key + power key phone start in tri color screen but after that its showing Loading... on screen and nothing more i wait one hour in this condition but nothing happen only loading showing .so what is problem or mistak i do in flashing tell me

previously make sure your MicroSD has formatted to Fat32! to format a memory card you can use the SD Formatter
open your file rom with winrar, Drag and drop ruu_signed.nbh file to a folder on computer then rename ruu_signed nbh. file to TOPAIMG.nbh and copy to memory card

You can view the contents of the file and extract it using WINRAR

I Download 5 rom files when i format card using fat in this condition its showning after tri screen looding then no image found and return to tri screen . and when i format card using fat32 its showing loading then chacking then not allow then return to tri screen whats happen bro tell me thanks.

Can attach screenshot your device at the time of the bootloader mode ??

hear is video bro i format mmc with fat32 and fat (same result in both) then put rom file in root dir with change name as you given in this video after tri colour say loding then no image fond then return to tri colout screen back

Is not clear what SPL you have.
Loading then not allow means that ROM is for other country.
Also means that you don't have Hard SPL.
You can recover only with ROM for what country ID have your device.

[GUIDE] Stock Rom - All S3 Mini

This is a detailed guide on how to put stock recovery and rom back onto any Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini phone. I like also add that I have found the information used and images off other sites and users of XDA but I will place them in credit meaning that I am not taking any credit for this I'm just placing all information that's around internet into one place to make it simple for people.
I have tested all these methods on my Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini ( GT-I8190N ) and can confirm that they have worked 100% for my phone.
If find any newer methods then I will update this post and if find way to reword / make it easier for method that already listed then I will update that on the post.
Hope this detailed guide helps people out and I will try keep post up to date as much as i can.
Requirements:
- Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini GT-I8190 ( N / L / T )
- USB Data Cable
- Windows Laptop / Desktop
- Odin3 v3.07
- Stock Rom ( Main / Mirror )
- Stock Recovery ( CWM / Odin )
[1] Install Recovery:
CWM =
- Copy File onto sdcard
- Place sdcard into Phone
- Boot phone to Recovery Mode ( Hold Vol Up + Home + Power )
- Click Install Zip from sdcard
- Find downloaded file on sdcard
- Click Install this Zip
- Wait till completed install
- Click Reboot Device
Odin =

(Micromax a120) No network on *3G only* after flashing custom rom (HELP)

****PEOPLE WHO ARE THINKING ITS SPAMMING POST THEN BE ASIDE FROM THIS THREAD****
I am using mmx a120 (4.4.2,8gb) And when i was not om custom rom then it was locking locking my 2G network in 5-6s and 3G in 4-5s and also 3G only working fine but afterwards i try to install wiko 5.0 Rom then on sp tool its shows i have to use "format all+download" So i do that and i forget to take a backup and after rom flashed then 2G is locking in 30-50s and 3G in 2-4min and no network in 3G only and when choosing 3G only then also 2nd sim getting no network and i have to restart the phone to get back 2G again !
I have searched on xda and i got a solution also but that is for micromax a210 (And mine is a120) so, if anybody have faced this issue before and now solved then reply here !
***IT WILL BE HELPFULL FOR ME TOO MUCH***

I am suffering from the exact same problem. I recently flashed my mmx A120 with stock ram and just like you, I didn't make a backup of any sorts. Now I have rooted my phone and I have 2gb for app installation. Everything is good except now when I choose 3g only, the network signals instantly vanishes. It's becoming a huge problem for me as no body likes to use 2g. I mean Nobody ! If you come across a solution please do help me as well by letting me know. I will be grateful to you.

Update parameters via maui 3g meta tool,
1. Open mauimeta 3g tool (run as administrator)
2. From options select connect smartphone in meta mode
3. Press reconnect
4. Switch off your phone and connect it to usb. the phone will boot up and stuck on boot logo(dont panic its normal). After sometime in the tool u will see the phone's parameters like gsm850,it means that it is successfully detected by the tool
5. Now select update parameter from the drop down menu,a popup will appear
6. click on change nvram database and select the given modem file
7. click on load from file and select the ini file
8. wait for sometime the barcode check box on below will be automatically checked and will display a message load from file completed
If you want ini configuration file of canvas a120

Fixing a honor 3c that keeps vibrating and disconnecting from spft

Hi Everyone!!!!
So you have a honor 3c that works as a paper weight cuz you were experimenting around and got it hard bricked and now you dont see a way to get your phone back... right? well no need to worry
GETTING SPFT TO BUILD A CONNECTION WITH YOUR PHONE
Now here are the prerequisites that u guys need :
your honor 3c
a laptop or computer with nessecary drivers installed
patience
a brain
ok so now that you have all that lets get into it
first you need to download this : mega .nz/#F!4HhnAJhY (remove the space between mega and nz for the link to work xda was not letting me put a url cuz am new here )
now :
1. open sp flash tool u find inside this folder
2. load the scatter file
3. and recovery will be loaded into the spft
4. now press download button and connect the phone without the battery inserted
5. wait for green circle and after that disconnect your phone
voila now ur phone wont disconnect again n again but dont jump now we still have alot to do
UNLOCKING FOR REFLASHING
Now we need to unlock your bootloader so that we can reflash the firmware
so first u need to download this: mega .nz/#F!QGBgQTBR (remove the space between mega and nz for the link to work xda was not letting me put a url cuz am new here )
now u will open the spft from the previous folder again
now :
1. Click “Scatter-loading” and select “MT6582_Android_scatter” file placed inside “Honor3CBootUnlock” folder.
2. After that, click Window menu and check “Write Memory”. A new tab named Write Memory should appear.
3. In Write Memory tab, click Open Raw Data and select “preloader_huawei82_wet_jb5.bin”.
4. Set Memory Setting to “EMMC”, Beginning Address to “0x800” and Container Length to “0x1B0EC”. Finally click Write Memory button,SP FlashTool is waiting for connection, now connect your phone to computer using USB cable, WITHOUT the battery inserted.
5. GREEN circle will be displayed if the download succeeded.
6. Now DISCONNECT the USB cable from your phone.
Nearly done
ok so now that we have done all that you can flash your desired firmware
