Hi, I have tried searching for the problem I am facing with all the new builds I am using, particularly the ones based on CyanogenMod 6+, but could not find any information to enlighten me.
Problem: Normal video recording (using HD2ONE, JDMS) with continuous autofocus is fine if I were to record below 30seconds of footage. The moment I cross the 30 seconds mark, particularly 1 minute, it will force close on me.
Even using Darkstone's SuperRAM (without auto focus for video) gives me stuttering footage. It happens intermittently.
Have anyone had such a problem before? I am currently using a Toshiba 16gb microsd Class 4 card. Could that be the problem? Is there a work around?
Thanks. Any input would help tremendously.

Hi.
I cant post this in the correct thread, because i havent got 10 posts yet. Please someone post this for me here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=926507&page=1510
I just recorded a few longer videos (more than 5 min.) with the camcorder and i realized that audio / video goes terribly out of sync on all of them. Does anyone else have the same problem? Is there a way to fix that?
Camcorder only able to record short clips
I am also having a similar problem. My camcorder generally records beautifully till about 10min. Then, the recording freezes. I use the Sd-card variant of nexus hd android for my hd2 (nov6,2011) and I love everything about it, except this inability to record videos longer than about 10min. My theory is that the stock camcorder dumls all the record data EXCLUSIVELY in the RAM so when the free RAM is used up it freezes as the recording is forced onto the card (in the process also becoming an unreadable file). Can this be addressed or is there a 3rd party camcorder that can place its recording data progressively on the sd card WHILE recording?
Ok have you looked into the FAQ's for CoreDroid ?

BTW, in case anyone was interested. Open Camera has no video limitation and every function seems to work. There's still a 4GB limit, so depending on resolution that will produce shorter or longer videos. There is an option to restart video automatically. The hardware zoom is a little funky, but there's a touchscreen (-) and (+) to zoom which works fine for relatively stationary video.
This solved my issue with recording college lectures. I record in 720p so the video reaches just about an hour and restarts automatically. I upload the lectures to YouTube right after class. People are thankful if they miss class, and I get return favors, so life is good.
I installed 5.0 using this guide here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-3/general/guide-t2983873
It works fine thus far apart from one really annoying problem. I watch Twitch.tv on my phone and videos a lot. Whenever I have Twitch on, it doesn't allow me to watch in source quality, only high without lagging yet when I had 4.4.2 it allowed me all the time. And with watching videos... after sometimes 1 or 2 minutes, it freezes on a frame on the video yet the audio will continue. I can tell when it's about to happen as the lip sync starts to become messed up then within 5-10 seconds, it'll freeze.
Any help appreciated.
I'm having the same problem but on youtube and my camera video recording don't work how fix that plz help i m on lolipop
I seem to be having issues with video recording and stutter. The settings are 1080p 60fps, being recorded to a SanDisk Extreme Plus 64GB. It's almost as if the phone can't keep up and it makes the end shot look terrible. Not to mention my auto focus is constantly readjusting and out of focus. Anyone else having similar issues and/or know a fix? Here's a quick example (warning a little loud).

Hello,
I have recently switched from a GoPro to this app to gather more data on track but im experiencing some problems with recording. After emailing with the app developer we came to the conclusion that this seems to be a problem with the device and not the app itself.
Whenever i start recording the camera always seems to freeze at or around the 4min11 mark.
After watching the recording i noticed that the audio does keep going.
I have tried;
- changing the resolution (4K, 1080, 720 and SD)
- close all apps running in background
- exporting the videos to pc to play them with VLC (could have been a playback issue but nope)
Using the camera outside the app oddly enough does not give any problems.
Any chance there is way to solve this issue?
Phone is rooted, running stock oxygen software and had a factory reset 2 weeks ago.
Thanks
