Just download the free app pocket cloud. Set all up giving me access to my Windows 7 pc very easily using the gmail log in. No sound and looks like ill have to pay for the pro app to get it. Anyone use it, is it any good or could you recommend an app for free that would do the same with sound and is not to hard to set up.

I use phone mypc. You can download it from the market and use it on three pc's. Also you can move the app to your sd card to use on other phones.

Is it dropbox or something like it? Wondering because I am trying to get Android 3.0 music player to sync all my music and it is not working with dropbox (meaning I don't know how to do it).

The "cloud" is the storage of any type of media on an outside storage service that is avail to any computer / phone / internet ready device at any time.
Dropbox is a great example. You can access your media on different devices, change the files, and the changes show on your other devices.
Think of it as wireless sync for files not stored on your phone that you can access anytime.

Just a few days after posting this Amazon came out with their own cloud system, its pretty cool. I get 5gb of free storage and my songs from my computer are finally showing up on my phone through the Amazon Cloud Player. I'm happy now.

You can email them to yourself, or setup dropbox. I personally recommend dropbox, it rocks.

Box is just like dropbox but so much much better plus you get 50gb of storage space you can't beat that

The Splashtop HD 2 app is free at the moment in the play market for a limited time.

Very odd. I tried downloading this on my main account, but it would always pop up with an error. Then I switch over to my other account and it works fine? Weird, but hey, I got it for free! Thanks!

Is it better than the stock Splashtop of Asus?
but if you want to access any computer outside of your local network it costs 9.99/year. They just changed their marketing model with the new version.

Enable sync, log-in with the same gmail on both your Nexus and your PC. Use Chrome. Visit the website yourself and copy it? Otherwise just use Airdroid, or even Evernote.
DESKNOTIFIER! Haven't been using it for quite awhile so I'm not sure how it's holding up now..
