Hey peeps,
yesterday my mDJ froyo 4.1 decided to give me trouble so i deleted it and installed the newest 4.6, now i know i'd rather post this in the 4.6 thread but i could'nt find anything related to my issue there, has anyone ever encountered this issue? once i unlock the phone the bluetooth automatically turns itself on
anyone?! this is driving me nuts here.. i'v checked the BT settings in WinMo too, thought maybe the BT is on overthere and causing it to turn on in android but no.. its off, i use flight mode in WinMo.. i'v noticed two services appearing when unlocking the device, one is called Bloutooth share, and the other BrcmBluetoothServices, ofcourse i ended them but they keep turning on when i turn the screen on

Hi,
I seems to be having a strange problem with my newly aquired m5000 I noticed the other day when it was sitting on my desk but not plugged into anything (pc or mains) the screen would turn on at random intervals stay on for the 3 minutes i set and then go off!
I have tried uninstalling things like GPRS monitor and SPB PPlus but still get.
I wondered if anyone else has had the same problem or worked out a solution?
It does it in minilaptop and pda mode, obviously cant tell if it does it when closed.
Quite annoying as it will obviously affect battery life and i dont want it turning on on my pocket when and accidentally dialing etc.
Any of you guys got any ideas?
no ideas I'm afraid, but my K-Jam also does it every now and then since I've upgraded to the new ROM
Hi guys, I'm new to the forum so please forgive me for any mistakes. I searched the forum but I could not find any related topic so I decided to post a new thread. Anyways, my tytn is new (2 weeks old) and sometimes hangs when going to stand by mode. I tried to dissable the "turn off devise if not used for.." option and turn it off (stand by) manualy by sigle pressing the power button. But guess what nothing happented!! I could not turn it on and I had to do a reset again. It is so annoying, I am missing calls, sms etc because my device hangs and stays off! Anyone experiencing the same problem? Is because the ROM version? (My ROM version is 1.18.255.3). How can I fix this problem? Thnx
I have occasionally experienced this problem and have tracked it down as a fault that only occurs when I have the wifi connection activated. I keep the wifi off unless in use the problem disapears. Hope this helps
wifi is off at all times. Actually I've never used wifi with tytn
Are you running Today plugins from memory card? One of the reasons Tytn hanging is related to that. Put these plugins into main memory until a future ROM is correcting this problem. Good luck!
I have also had this problem. Activesync was the culprit. I make sure I always close AS after syncing instead of minimising. In addition I delete the event that starts activesync (repllog.exe) in my notification queue. No freezes while on standby for almost a week now
I made a thread about it here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=278968
thx guys! I'll try and reply back
Seems to me cdyat was right. Thanks for the tip!
Hello,
Few days ago I've found that my phone drained my battery. After a lot of experiments and rebooting I have found that my phone doesn't sleep. Problem with enabling of Bluetooth and disabling doesn't helped. I'm using default widget for enable/disable, and switch pro result the same. (Yes my first Bluetooth usage was happened few days ago). After rebooting problem disappear till enabling bluetooth again.
On the top of prevent sleeping list (accordingly spare parts) is android system.
So my question is:
Does somebody have met with the problem that just after enabling (disabling) Bluetooth phone never will go to sleep?
Please could somebody verify this issue? Or maybe you have some suggestions instead of hard reset?
Thanks.
my firmware is native updated Android 2.2.1
I've tried hard reset and it doesn't help, I have pure device just two installed application: android system info and spareparts for system monitoring. No one paired bluetooth device, just enable.... So looks like problem in HTC firmware but I'm wondered so many people using it and nobody have noticed that...
Did a search and didn't notice anyone else posting on this so thought I might throw out this question. Has anyone noticed the LG G2 (Verizon model) screen freezing up when on Bluetooth? I only seem to get this when I am paired with my bluetooth device and am listening to music, on Youtube, or (most frequently) on PocketCasts. My only fix to this point has been to simply turn the bluetooth device off, and the phone screen unfreezes and starts working again.
I ask because I am still under warranty and was wondering if you all thought that the issue was OS/App related, or if I got a bad phone and need to go return it. Thanks checking out the post!

**BUMP** Hadn't seen anyone answer this, so I"ll try again. Anyone else having issues with bluetooth?
1. Noticed it will lock up if I am on bluetooth, take a phone call and turn the bluetooth off in call (via the button on the phone screen). Then when the phone call ends, it locks up trying to pick the bluetooth back up.
2. In my podcast app (Pocketcasts) I am noticing that if one podcast ends and I click to start a new one, it freezes up the phone as well, unless I turn off the bluetooth and turn it back on.
Anyone else experiencing similar issues??
**FYI - Just flashed CleanRom last night, and haven't noticed this yet with the ROM so maybe it's a stock issue??**
I am having this problem as well.
Phone totally locks up when bluetooth is connected. Have this problem on Hellfire ROM and LiquidSmooth. (both kitkat)
I have AT&T G2.
This happens within seconds after pairing with my BT headset or car stereo.
I was considering flashing back to stock ROM until I read this post that it happens on that as well.
PLEASE, can someone help with this?
It's the only serious issue I have on this otherwise awesome phone.
The only stable ROM I have found that does NOT have the Bluetooth problem, and has all other common features functional is CyanogenMod 4.4.4

Hello all,
I will start off by saying I'm running the Nougat Beta, I loaded that first day so I don't have anything else to compare this behavior to. Anyway I have a Huawei smartwatch connected through Android wear via Bluetooth. What I have noticed is that the Bluetooth radio on the phone shuts off (not sure if this is an automatic power saving, I did check and I am not running in any power saving mode). I can go back in and turn it on, but then after some time it shuts back off. Any ideas? Has anyone else seen this? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
