I would like to know which software allows me to benchmark my prophet in terms of CPU speed etc. to make sure it runs as fast as it should. I would really appreaciate if some of you could post some results along with the software used.
It would be interesting.
Cheers!

Just use TCPMP v0.71 and benchmark with the included Nature MP4 file.

buyaoxiao, can you post benchmark data without overclocking the CPU so that we can compare performances?
To anyone who has the Droid x, can you run a touch input test and see if there is a delay? Also someone run fps2d, that would be nice. I just have this slight feeling 2dfps are capped at 30fps(coming out of my ass) because if you watch this review, it doesn't seem that smooth, but I know from another review in 3d it gets 60fps.
Droid X does NOT have the 30FPS cap. In this benchmark he gets over 30FPS on the 3D test.
Whats the name of the app they used to do the touch input lag in this video? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=szOje7dcRlo

HTC Evo has a 30FPS cap on the display - period. Doesn't matter if it's a 2D or 3D application. That's why I posted the YouTube benchmark video. It clearly shows 60FPS in a 3D app which means it's not capped.

Huh? I not talking about the EVO at all, I am saying the Droid X does not have a 2d fps cap. You can have no 3d fps cap, but have a 2d one, it's perfectly possible.
I was just verifying it doesn't have a 2dfps cap, even though I already knew it had no 3d fps cap.

Then why did you say you thought it was capped at 30FPS in your very first post? The only phone that is capped at 30FPS is the Evo, hence the reason I mentioned it.
Once again, if you get over 30FPS in a 3D app then you'll get over 30FPS in a 2D app. Unless the 2D app is very demanding and your CPU/GPU cannot keep up.
Anyway, we know it's not capped and it beats the Evo in CPU/GPU tests. Gotta love it.
sorry for my poor english
u8800 limited the fps to 30 or 46.
i have tried to write debug.gr.swapinterval=0 to build.prop.
it worked. the neocore score was 74.4
but i saw some tearing on the screen.
how to unlock the limit to 60fps?

As i understanding by this doc http://code.google.com/p/pal-nix/source/browse/androidtricks that parameter unlocks FPS above 60. so with it enabled ideos should get more than 30.. up to 60.. and with it disabled - more than 60. But who needs more than 24FPS? you have non human eyes?

How to install these scripts? Thx before.
Edit. Tried debug.gr.swapinterval=0. It's unlocking FPS cap but not limiting to 60FPS.
smooth . you can feel it. it can make the phone faster . the experience will be ptomoted. we should lock the fps to 60
Getting 75.5 fps in neocore
Sent from my Desire HD using xda premium
Unlock Fps
So,to unlock Fps you must add To Build.prop:laugh:
debug.egl.swapinterval=0

Thanks very much for this info
hi is there any way to bypass the cap 30fps for micromax?
like the evo developers so far have reached?
Hey, i was wondering, is there a way of caping the fps of the whole OS (ui, games etc...). My reasoning is to cap my fps at 50 to squish out slightly more battery
