It'll take some time before we are ready to release anything for it. It will take a lot of work to get devices to build with it

ICS evo Rom?

Anyone working on an sdk port? They have stable builds over at ns4g that work flawlessly for the most part. So?

Sdk ports are useless for the most part. Just wait for Aosp source to drop and I'm sure we'll have a CM9 alpha pretty soon. The Evo is after all very very well supported in the community.

CM came out and said they aren't working on CM9 (ICS) until AOSP source is released. They don't want to have anything to do with SDK ports.

Once the ICS source is out, we're gonna see a whole bunch of ports and stuff. I think I'll keep my evo on cm7 until the day when cm9 is out. Might even use boot manager to use whatever cm9 betas are released.

We wont get anything stable tell we have the source for ICS and from i heard it wont be tell mid November and i would take atleast 2-3 for devs to get anything good for are Evo since where not on there top priority list im guessing Evo signiture or Bionic well be the first real port

It's actually CM7 reworked to look exactly like iOS. They have a stand-alone launcher and apps, so most of the work would go into translating from Chinese.
Also, is there supposed to be a poll, or am I missing something?

because apple sucks. but that is why miui is so popular, it takes some of the best qualities of iOS and puts it on a platform not run and controlled by draconian bastardized dictators.

Did you try the Ultimate iPhone theme from the miui.us forums or did you get the one from the theme manager? Because the one from the forums is fantastic and the one that you can download from themes on your phone blows reeeeeeal hard.

FAIL! Should of waited for the GN!

The razr is really a great phone, it kinda sucks for them that it was released near the galaxy nexus. they would sell way more if they had waited a few months and shipped it with ics.

[Q] Will CyanogenMod 9 [ICS] on Fascinate be far behind like CM7

Does anyone know if a stable CM9 for Fascinate will be released far behind the release for other phones? Similar to CM7? Or will stable builds be released at the same time for all CM supported devices?

Personally I think the version we have now is pretty stable. As they add their tweaks and settings well get them. Either through jt or a Kang from someone.

It shouldn't. The reason CM7 took awhile was because a Fascinate version was created from the bottom up. Now that they have a base, CM9 should be out as quickly as any other phone.

Well apparently we don't have JT anymore either.....he won a contest on RootzWiki and got a Galaxy Nexus....so if what I've heard is correct....we probably won't be seeing fascinate development from him anymore (hopefully I'm wrong)
