Funny howw...

We keep hearing froyo announcements for every almost every phone, but they havent' mentioned the slide recently I mean even the droid is getting in the next few days and even the vo which came out around the same time as the slide, and we still dont' know when we are getting froyo the only clue is before the end of 2010

after using espresso for so long its weird to not have it.
Plus I kinda want the 10.1 flash, would be great to watch my anime when im on break. (unless I can, and i jsut dunno how? :3)
but yea its getting stupid that everything but MTS is getting froyo, even galexy S has a release date (least thats what i read somewhere) makes me wonder if we have to wait til like christmas or something which is not what we were told before hand. >_<

Ill talk to eugene or clay to port something 2.2 from the incredible to here....but it wont be espresso

I kind of hope that we will get it around this month, the normal mytouch is getting updated this month along with the cliq and xt according to the leaked roadmap, and there is no update for the mt3gs except for july which already passed, so maybe we will hear something soon, I mean there are already dates for the droid,evo 4g,droid x, droid 2(should have froyo on release),samsung galaxy s lines, nexus one already received it, and where are us mytouch owners?

When i find a way to get sense-froyo on the slide, im going to a mytouch slide version of my rom, jdfroyo.

Asked them through Twitter just for the heck of it. This is the response I got:
"We don't have any solid dates, but we'll keep you posted! Try not to get too green with envy! ^PC"
Pretty much the response I expected but it was worth a shot!

That makes me angry for some reason... I'm calling tmobile right now and getting an extra battery for free just because of that! I love taking advantage of those tools. They owe me anyways... they just upgraded my entire city with HSPA+ and the tower by my house is stuck with HSPA regular (in other words... havent ever gotten over 1Mb up or down). I am looking forward to the eventual release of froyo but am happy with the nexus port with a2sd and espresso camera and gallery (enables changing of lockscreen). But by the time we get it, they will have already released the HTC Vision (G2 Blaze) and I end up picking that up too. Lol... Im losing it, I think!

For those of you in the bay area...

My first evo got its rsa keys fried so i just recieved a new one today and was super excited to test 4G. Well, in emryville, i got consistantly between 7-11mbs down and 1.3 up.
I know 4g isnt official in sf yet and to my knowledge no towers in the east bay and i have 1-2 bars of signal with amazing speeds.. wow im stoked for the official release! Maybe this is just lack of cell traffic but im really pleased with sprint on this one.

I'm getting 7-8meg in SOMA. I'm curious to see what its like at the giants game tomorrow. Will test capacity, maybe. I know one thing for sure, my iPhone won't work.

No 4g connecting

Can somebody help it seems that I can't get any 4g all of the sudden. Im running nebula rom. It searches for a while and says disconnected. I had 4g previously in Sacramento but today it never connects. I even went to 4 places where I've had it before but nothing.

Gee zusz.... I thought I was the only one having this problem it happends to me like every week or so only at night tho!! I was about to create a tread asking if anyone new if there was maintance or something cause my epic and my gf evo were not connecting all of a sudden and I was playing black ops lol thanks for this tread lol

Same problem with 4g not connecting. West L.A Area. Cali. Hope they fix it soon. I get around 1-4 mbps day time and some times 5-6 mbps late night.

Same problem for me tonight. East Los Angeles. First time it happens to me. Will wait for tommorrow morning to see what's up.

No, the earthquake happened around 1 am. my 4g was out way before that like around 10 pm.

Dallas here. No 4g tonight for us either it seems.

how did you guys find out that 4g was down? i have been looking everywhere for a status page and couldn't find anything.

Well this is the first time in about 3 months I can't get a signal. I usually keep my 4g on all the time because I can get a signal everywhere here in sacramento.

I got 2 bars at my grandpas. only use 4g at night at my grandpas if i need it because the router is far away.
always have 4g where i am but barely ever use it.

Well I think ill have to odin to see if it corrects the problem if not I 'll take it back to the sprint store.

It just went back to normal weird????

We have been having intermittent roaming here too. Never did b4. Terre haute indiana. Was on roam forever sunday. Yet airplane mode cycle and u could get 4/6 bars sprint network for 20-30 minutes at a time.

Better hurry up if they are going to make me roam and not roam and eat my battery!!!

No issues in the marana/nw tucson area. I'll be ecstatic if we do get 4G soon.

All set... I like my 11114 PRL
Have zero interest in not having 3G roaming.

My 3G improved a ton. Went from around 3-4 bars at home. To full bars most of the time when I'm home. Plus my 4G also improved quite a bit.

No difference for me here in florida, still -99 dbm :/ 1 bar, no 4G.

Is there a way to flash a new PRL using terminal emulator?

Not that I am aware of. You can follow the link in my 2nd or 3rd posts to use qpst or nandroid back to a sense backup.
