Im planning on buying a nexus 1 asap, but im leaving this weekend to go out of town? I was wondering how long it would take to get to my house if u ordered it today? I know that the site says overnight? can anyone confirm that if i order it today (sunday) that it will arrive before the weekend?
Mines is in the box right now i guess it still counts since i didnt put it in my hands yet.
Fedex does not ship on weekends. I dont think they ship on monday either because its Martin Luther King day.
Ordered on launch day (5th) at 8pm GMT, arrived 8.37am on the 7th (in the UK).

I ordered the morning of the 13th and it was here by 3:00 Pm on the 14th.

I ordered mine at 9:00am on the 13th and it was delivered at 12:00 on the 15th
order it early in the day, I ordered mine at like 4:45 PM and had to wait an extra 12 hours. It was horrible.
Ordered mine Jan 14 10am EST time and got Email shipping confirmation at 9:15PM that night...

If I ordered it yesterday (Saturday) the 16th, when would I get it from? I'm guessing since they don't ship weekends and Monday would they ship on Tuesday, and I would get it Wednesday?
Also, what if I'm not home when the package gets here?
They ship on Monday. MLK day is not a FedEx holiday. Mine should arrive tomorrow, hopefully early.

Thursday evening, you can check the status of your order in the email they send you.
Ordered Tuesday night.
First attempted delivery = Thursday 2:07pm.
So 48 hours.
If I order mine tonight will I receive the phone by Tuesday? I live in Chicago.
I can confirm that, If you buy it on Sunday, you'll get it by tuesday...
I ordered my phone on a Sunday night. Fedex got to my door by 1pm on tuesday.
Also about 48 hours for mine to arrive.
Free overnight shipping - ordered on the 5th, received on the 7th THE MINUTE the fed-ex place opened, hah.
It took me about 18 hours from the time I ordered it to the time I had it in hand. I called my local FedEx office and had them hold the package rather than letting the delivery driver drive it around until 2:59pm (their commit time.)

Actually FedEx is delivering tomorrow on MLK day.
I'm wondering when it'll arrive, i have selected overnight shipping, but google takes some time to process too, anyone know how long until it leaves the google-dome?
As i don't have a Data Plan i'll need to replace the offline Navigation from my Nokia 5800.

my phone shipped the same day i ordered it.
I ordered 10am east time some thats 7am west. orders are worded on from 8-5 (my guess). As long as its done by 5pm it will be out the sameday and you would get it by 3pm the nextday via fedex
ps when its shipped your updated with a tracking number so be on the look out for that also
i ordered 4PM EST on a sunday lol, i guess it'll ship tomorrow and arrive tuesday (i can only hope )
I must admit, I was very impressed with the turn-around time. I ordered on the weekend, but literally would have received the phone the next day if it was daytime, mid-week.
You will get it Tuesday by 3PM.

I ordered mine on a Sunday late afternoon, it shipped Monday, and I got it Tuesday at 2:13PM CST. There is also a 20 pagish thread on here about this very topic, and it is pretty well established it will arrive on Tuesday if you order on the weekend.

Mine was delivered next day. Ordered in the afternoon and received it the next morning around 9AM with the standard free overnight shipping.
Mine delivered next day was well. Ordered 3/18 at 8 am. And was delivered 3/19 at noon. I live in Southern California

ordered around 7pm EST, rcv'd next day 11AM EST - used whatever their default shipping was (standard overnight?).
I odered mine Thursday the 18th and it's due to arrive sometime today the 22nd.
(UPDATE) mine arrived at 12:00pm on the dot... lovin this thing so far..
i ordered mine on 16th got it on 18th. but i live in toronto canada.

I ordered the first day. Ordered Wednesday, 1pm, had it around 1pm the next day.
Back in Jan it took 3 days to get mine but this time around, I had it within 24 hours of placing the order.
I got mine the very next day...but they ship out from Indianapolis and I'm also in Indianapolis....so that helps too!
I ordered mine yesterday and it shipped this morning. Should be here tomorrow. Can't wait!!

The distribution centre is in Northeast Indianapolis and the Courier is DHL. Might take two days depending on when you place your order in the day with Google and when that is relayed to their distribution centre. That lag took a day for me.
I live in California as well, I ordered mine a thursday morning at 7 or 8am and it came on friday. I dont know if fedex next day delivers on saturdays. On fedex's tracking for next day it say it'll be at your place by 3pm. This was my experiance. Hope this helps.

from the beginning. fedex folks were very nice, and tried a second time to deliever mine after i missed the first delivery (same day).
the clerks at the local office actually called the route driver to confirm his location, and if i wanted to meet him along his route. these folks do more than neccesary. fer sher.
lets see if we can bump into sum xda fellows at ur local store..
