The manual says to 'lift', but it won't budge..
Tried squeezing, nothing..
Broke the nails on both thumbs!!

Heh - old problem mate, and you'll kick yourself once you do it.
Hold the phone, face down, with the top facing you. On the right hand side (not the side with the volume buttons) there is a groove. Stick your nail in there and pull it up, and it just pops off.
It's not the easiest thing in the world, but it's a lot easier than trying to pop it off from the volume side

I see the groove, Ive watched probably all the HD2 unboxing videos on the web. The cover is on tight..
The count is 5 nails chipped now.
With my left hand I am holding down the top and the bottom of the phone and with my right hand I am trying to pry the groove up, I flipped the phone so many times....
I can't believe I'm crying over a phone.

It's just one of those things that once you get it, you'll really REALLY regret asking for help doing it in here.
If you hold the top and bottom with your right hand, with the screen facing the palm of your right hand, and the volume buttons underneath, you should have the groove at the top.
Put your left hand fingers under the phone (near the volume buttons) and put your thumbnail in the groove. Press your thumb down and left.
It really is easy, so you must be doing something wrong if that doesn't work.

EDIT: Btw when you lay it on its front side the grove is on THE LEFT not the right and he's not a new guy he's been a member since 2007.

HP iPAQ h2210 (PDA WM2003) -> Audiovox PPC-4100 (WM2003 phone) -> HP iPAQ h6315 -> HP iPAQ hw6925 -> O2 XDA Atom -> Asus P527 -> now HTC Leo
(Numerous Nokia's/SE/Dual SIMs, etc)
All of them still work (I have all of them), two h6315s and three PPC-4100 (in parts but I can form 1 complete phone).. but I have been really looking forward to this Leo...
I purchased a 4 year warranty PLUS 4 year accidental protection + all the accessories I could find for the HTC Leo (to show my commitment to this phone).
Still no luck with this cover.. I bit off all my nails..
taking a break and will try again later.
Are there any actual video posts removing the back cover (reviewed some LEO unboxing videos but they all skipped that part) ?

It does make more sense now that we know you're of the female persuasion. A guy breaking 5 nails on his new phone just sounds a bit... well... you know
Have you tried using something like a small screwdriver or similar? It really does just pop off when you get it right, but long nails ain't the way to go.

Don't underestimate the power of revealing that here
I've had a closer look but I don't think it is wise to use tools to lift the back cover. That will damage you device. Start by asking anyone with stronger nails to open it up for you.

Ok, so I am using the original sleeve that came with the phone, which protect it well enough to my mind.
Some stuff were pissing me off though, like having to take the phone out of it to check for new notifications, or the fact that the sound (notifications/ringtones) was attenuated a lot by it. So much in fact that even at max volume, I missed a couple of calls.
So I did cut a round area where the trackball is located, which allows me to see if I have new notifications without getting the phone out of it.
I also cut it where the speaker output is located. Now I can finally hear my phone ringing, in its sleeve, in my pocket.
Did cut it with normal scissors and burned the edges (to avoid the holes to grow) with a lighter.
It is a dumb trick, but improved a lot my overall experience, so I just wanted to share it here
I ll try to post pics later on, as I am at work right now and cannot do it.

I've used a credit card slot ever since my 3Com PalmPilot days. Would love to get one for the Note 3 that has the electronics to do either S-View properly or at least on/off with the case opening.
Looked at hundreds of eBay listings and had no luck.
Anybody aware of such a thing? Does the on/off just require a magnet and only the S-View stuff the special IC? Any way to hack one easily?
Also, is this more appropriate in Q&A or accessories? Mod, feel free to move.

Yep, but I put a Pay-wave sticker on the back and it uses whatever account I set up to pay for stuff, up to $100. Who needs credit cards now?

My nexus 4 have a small problem with the screen touch, a space about 0.5 inch height and 3 inches width doesn't work. It didn't fall it just stopped working one day.
My warranty is still running, so if google decided to change it, will they give me a new nexus 4 ?
At leat they should give you a brand new one. Of course if they still have one. Or money back.

They won't give you a refund, They can either replace the screen, send a refurbished device, and/or there a small chance it will get a new device.

Obviously a Samsung phone, I was scared to play with it much but seems a glass back and front with metal on the sides. I apologize if this is being posted in the wrong section.
