I think I may have changed my Adobe Reader LE a bit. I seem to remember not having gray margins on the left/right (using Fit Width). Also the right black vertical position indicator has a wider white stripe that goes all the way down. I didn't think vertical white area existed before and it was just the black position indicator.
Am I imagining things? Or maybe I changed something?
(Also, when I use Sense documents and click on a pdf, it just opens Adobe but not the file. How do I fix this? I assume it's a file association issue.)

Hey guys I downloaded a theme to my phone but i do not like the portrait picture. How do i just change that picture to something else? Thanks!
SEARCH/READ THE USER'S MANUAL!!!! But, if you hold your stylus down on the picture you want as a background, you'll see the little circle things, then a list of options, like right clicking on a mouse, select set as desktop background. Then select how washed out you want it, and select ok. There, that was your freebie. Use Wiki and search the forum from now on.
no i want to change just the portrait picture. only when i slide my slider. i know how to do that. i remember seeing a deal about that now i cant find it.
I'm pretty sure there's no way to change JUST the portait picture. You mean like having 2 seperate desktop pitures with one to display in landscape, and the other in portrait, right?
Yeah. But I found a way of doing. Just a little more work than I intended. Thanks!
HEY! this is give and take here... So spill the beans, how did you do it?
Yeah! this I gotta know about. You may have found a secret no one knows. The other question is: how can you re-size a pic so that when it is used as a desktop background, it only uses a portion of the screen and doesn't obscure say the whole "black theme" in use?
I'll let you guys know as soon as i get it done. Haven't even tried yet. Been playing around with different ROMs to see which I like better. So far I'm diggin the Touch-It Light.

if you want to change picure ionly in portrait mode, bud not landscape, you must force edit the Theme you want.... or, ... maybe if it is multiple images theme, just replace one of them, but most are 1 file, .... in that case you have no chance without any program..
Google search for ThemeGenCE. It works like a charm and allows one to change the portrait (slide closed) and landscape (slide open) to different pics. it will also change almost all of the colors. I'll try to post a screen shot of the Halo3 theme I built with it. I've built about 12 different .tsk files with it so far and all of them turned out pretty well. It will also let you import an existing theme and modify it. I used the black touch skin and applied my own pics.
It automatically resizes pics to fit the screen...
Yeah. That's what I was gonna play with but never had the chance. I forgot what the prog was that's why I never bothered. Thanks!!
the gloss from WM6 doesn't show up when you make a theme using ThemeGenCE?
The gloss???
wow thats nice....this will work with the wing correct???
Yes... I'm currently running it on a wing. I'm having some issues getting the color fades on the start bar to work. It has to do with the WM5 tab but the descriptions are a bit cryptic as to what fields they actually represent. So I built one with a LOT of really out there colors to see what field effects what part of the screen. If you don't use the stuff on the WM5 tab then it will just be solid colors. The Halo3 one wound up just being green instead of the orange/green fade at the top. That screenshot is from the previewer in the program not what actually wound up on the phone.

Probably a stupid question but what were the size image options you put in? In the options it asks about the size of the screen & the size of the start menu
I moved my Vista Task bar to the vertical right hand side of the screen today and noticed that youtube and BBC videos bennefit greatly from that extra bit of screen height. Yet I actually prefer the task bar to be hoizontal along the bottow of the screen. Decision decisions...
So I would love to hear your thoughts; which Taskbar setting do use/prefer? Horizontal or Vertical? Always On top or hidden?
I guess this is also an oppertunitiy to include a picture of your desktop (fuzzing out anything that is personal of course).
Hi,
For Firefox there is a plug-in called Full Screen that switches it to full screen and back with a small icon (so, no need for F12 key). When I use that it also uses the space normally occupied by the taskbar.
I did have the taskbar at the left-hand-side for a while, but I didn't like it.

I would have thought with a bigger and better resolution display than the I-Phone the icon buttons on the Programs window would have been brighter and clearer. For instance I find it hard to distinguish between Notes and Tasks; Goggle Maps and Calculator.
Which is why I would like to ask why each icon is set in a black background on each button; and then in turn the buttions are on a black screen background.
Does anyone know of a way so that the coloured icon fills the whole button? Or maybe specs are the way forward?
weird, i dont have problems like that. Have you tried using glasses?
If I look carefully my display I can notice that display image is not properly centered, infact it has two different black vertical bounds.
I would like to expand image to cover all the display area (like a regulation for lcd displays for example...).
Is it possible??

Hi. That's a bit vague - difficult to understand. Can you take a screenshot so we can see what you mean?
Yes I know it is a bit vague, but unfortunately I can't take any screenshot of this, bacause it would show nothing about this problem... I'll had to use an external camera, but at moment the only one I have is the leo's one...
Let me see if I can explain in little words... what I see is that the potential area of display is for example 480x800, but the real display (image on display) is smaller leaving black bounds all around it; it seems projected to a smaller surface, resulting in a smaller display experience (not so much to be honest ).
Given that in all pc monitors you can adjust image position and size to best fit its window, I was asking if it could be possible also on this leo device.
Hope you can better understand now...
If, for example, I open Internet Explorer and wait till the address bar and bottom buttons disappear, I'm left with a mostly white display. There IS a border of about 1mm all the way round this.
Is this what you are talking about?
Yes, it should be! In my case the stripe on the left side is a bit thinner than the one on the right...

That's not an active display area. The display shouldn't go to the very edge, so there's nothing wrong with your phone, and no, you can't expand the display.
Ok, thanks a lot!
I've noticed some faint diagonal stripes on my LG G2 (LG-D802). They make a pixel like pattern of stripes, only they are diagonal from upper left to lower right and mostly visible on solid clear colors like red, green or blue. The stripes are very thin and the width of the stripes is comparable/or slightly smaller then the pixel width of my old Samsung Galaxy S2 (>200PPI). In other words, it's not something I see all of the time but it gets noticeable when you look closely. And as I said it is mostly visible on solid colors, and not on text and other edges where pixels normally is visible (not that I think this is the actual pixels I see). One of the easiest ways to see it is to search after "red" on google images and open a red image, but it is also visible in most apps or on the homescreen.
Is this something anyone else has experienced/noticed, or is it it my display that is faulty?
I'm not allowed to post an outside link in my message (new user), but here is a picture if anybody want's to see.
It was not easy to capture this on camera, but the stripes are barely visible in the red of the Google+ icon and in the dark blue of the image icon. For size comparison; I use Nova Launcher with icon size 70% and the Minimal UI icon pack.

Could it be a problem with your screen protector? If not i recommend sending it in for a check..
Thanks for the reply.
I don't have any screen protector on, but the lines does seem to be fixed to the screen. I.e. if I move an object the lines does not stick to the object but "new" lines gets visible, so it can look like it can be something with the glass.
If nobody else has experienced the lines I will definitively send the phone in for service.
I tried the local phone store, but the guy only laughed at me because he did'nt see it. Great service attitude when you make the customers feel stupid
Maybe you are talking about the touch sensors?
All the phones have it and it's more visible on xperia phones.
Maybe, but I think the lines/pattern is to small and dense to be the normal grid that people see. When I turn the screen off I can (barely) see the the digitzer grid, but it is a completely different pattern (horizontal and vertical lines) and the lines are separated by several line widths (some millimeters maybe?). The diagonal lines I see are very close together. It looks like they are only a line width apart from each other.
One other thing I just noticed is that the lines does not rotate when the screen is in landscape mode. They still go from the front-camera corner down to the corner to the right of the LG logo.
Is it nobody with a good sight that can confirm if they see the stripes or not? Would have helped me a lot when proceeding with getting the phone in for service.
