If you are talking about the team I think you are, they said they are waiting for official froyo to do it..
Once official froyo source drops. Things will go more smoothly.. its amazing that our devs here have made the progress they have given the lack of necessity available.

I was just about to make a thread asking about the development of this Galaxy Sense we heard about last month.
With launcher pro a custom dock and beautiful widgets you can make your homescreens look just like the sense ui if you want it for the ascetics or as a placeholder til it gets ported

Hero/evo/epic I ran cm6 on both htc devices. I rather have a pure aosp. I don't like none of the manufacturers gui's.

The Hero was the first android phone I ever owned, I loved sense on it because there were so many ways to customize it to my liking, tw just sucks, I want to go back to the evo so I can go back to the sense + froyo + CM6, but the epic's keyboard and excellent performance are keeping me here

Yeah I know alot of people like it pure google.
but to me it just isnt appealing or as functional.
the hero was my first android device so I did get spoiled
with htc sense. Just to my likings that it brought a better
experience and refresh to the Android interface. Widgets and apps.
I prefer it over TW. There are just a few things I prefer TW
over sense per say.
I think the rom was released and then discontinued for the galaxy s i9000 due to the devs having muliple issues that they were not able to resolve. Link to post --> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=877902
The only thing I ever liked about Sense UI were the widgets and the Weather effects.
With LauncherPro, you can get pretty much identical widgets, and then Beautiful Widgets will give you the same look of the clock widget. Plus, LauncherPro is infinitely customizable and you can do pretty much anything with it....
Sense UI has always been extremely laggy and slow in all the times I've used it, as a ROM port on my Nexus, and also stock on the Evo/Hero.
Wouldn't mind trying it out again on my Epic though!
The older version of fancy widget is also a wonderful alternative to the sense clock/weather widget.

I like ADW for the hidden dock bar and ability to remove the main dock. Sadly, I want the cube animation feature from Anarchy too...

Looks real good! I like it, don't really care for all the fancy options.Favorite launcher for me was Zeam until the developers abandoned it

Anarchy Launcher is GDE Launcher, if you weren't aware. Just Anarchy is themed a bit differently as well as being smoothed out in some aspects.
wave launcher is cool if you like webOS
So by far i believe that aosp is better than sense roms. CM7 is amazin and i cant wait for CM9. ICS looks great so far for th kushdeck rom. What do you guys think??

Well everyone has their on opinion on different user interface. I like sense bcuz of the 3d carousel and widgets. But AOSP is great too. But I prefer sense. Does this make sense?

I prefer sense for widgets, and how I can link my Facebook acc with calendar so I know who's birthday is today. I do like AOSP for its customization tho =P
aosp is the best for me, also i love Miui

AOSP is the way for me, i even have a link in my sig that has all the AOSP Roms/Kernels ^_^
Yeah when I was with the evo I was sense haha sometimes MIUI. Now with the 3vo I'm all sense but have cm7 and MIUI dual booted. In the end though sense works for me

Sense has better widgets, app integration, and visuals.
That is, until now with ICS. Looks great, feature packed, and so on. I'm finally okay with not having Sense.

MIUI for me.
Cm7 - Stable (for me), reeaaalllyyy fast, MTD, open source, theme chooser, lots of amazing other things, amazing battery life
MIUI -becomes really unstable really soon after flash, not as simple as cm7, dont like the themes as much
TW - Stable, not insane speed, normal battery life, crap, everything works

I'm on CM7 but I may try MIUI again.
I love MIUI's theming system, but it feels so much like a different OS. Not sure if I really like that yet. Also it's not as smooth as CM7 and still feels in early development.
Loving CM7...(even tho wifi is wonky) errrr... Aside from that this ROM rocks! THX CM TEAM!

TouchWiz is not a launcher, its more of a framework. So even though the launcher is gone its still TouchWiz.

I find miui simpler than cm7. I loved cm7, but once I themed out miui and got used to it u can't beat it. Theming is better than cm7 no doubt. Especially lock screens (awesome awesome). It FLIES on Mtd too..and really not buggy at all. Any bugs r minor and easily fixable and nothing greater than wut cm7 has. Transforms ur whole phone and ui. Cm7 is still very android-y, not that that's bad, but not TOO different. Also miui stock launcher is amazing, and the status/notif bars are more customizable and nicer.
Omair..U want to get an idea of what we're running ass-to-mouth? I don't see how that's relevant...but I think I get it..

Hi there. Been using icebox beast rom and its awesome. Go launcher is a bit choppy though and not as smooth as Id like. Switched to launcher pro and my phone feels like new. So smooth and quick.

i'd love to use the beast flavor v1.1 too, but the missing multilanguage thing makes me using the HeroICS v3 rom who runs well but not flawless. Anyone try to use the morelocale2 app?? does it translate all the rom? thanks..

humm I have some doubts.. most people said this was a major difference and i think also Icebox said it too..
v1.1 it's much more complete. I strongly suggest you try that instead of v0.1 or any other version because v0.1 used CM 7.2 rc2 as a base and people were making noise that after a while the rom becomes heavy and laggy. So v1 had the base changed to Decked_X for much better speed and stability (indeed it is much speedy than v0.1 and go launcher moves smooth on it), though you have only english...
Go launcher not as smooth as launcher pro. I'm on v1.1. Unless I have something that needs setting. Also mediafire is terrible on mobile it wont load

Well yeah, nothing can beat Launcher Pro, but Go launcher moves smooth as well on my hero (using it and my hero is OC'ed only at 176 - 633 mhz)
Still the best rom I've used though . You're a genius
