So i get to the gscript point and cpoc works fine but when i go to run noreboot and oshitttt i get this message... "delete_module vision oc" failed"... I put the vision OC file on the root directory... first folder as it opens not within a folder on the SD card... so i don't get why it is not working?

I have the same problem. I have SetCPU with custom frequencies, but it is not moving from 806MHz, even though all my profiles are set with higher values.
I have perma-root using the VISIONary process and I am able to access SU. Superuser also is set to ALLOW SetCPu, I can't find anything that can over clock it.
Just so you know I get to 6:17 in the video and that where I run into the problem.

Which terminal emulator program are you using? While this may not fix your problem, it may workaround if you use a different emulator program.
Have you installed RomManager? If so, you could run fix permissions to try to fix resolve the FC issue as well. I am not sure how well that works with temproot but it is worth a try.

I posted the answer you may be looking for in the other one
I recently received a T-mo G2, and tried to root&rom it.
I perma-rooted it, and although it seemed to work (i have the superuser app etc.)
when i try to install rom manager, it claims that my device isn't rooted. (superuser not found, blah blah)
Anyone else had that problem? i already searched the forum, not to find much.
Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.
How did you root? What happens when you type SU in the Terminal emulator?
rooted with visionary+ (temproot and then permroot)
Don't have any terminal emulator, so i don't quite have an answer to that.
I have the superuser app though, and visionary+ appears in the permission list, if that's any help
Check if you have S-OFF, because it happened to me when I got my G2 rooted by a friend of mine.
Also, post the method of rooting, because there are several, so more knowledgeable users help you out.
Look up xda wiki for htc vision. Current best practice is rage and gfree.

Hi guys, I know there was a thread on here before about how to fix the fingerprint scanner after a bad restore in TiBU but for some reason those methods aren't working for me. I am using Terminal Emulator and when I enter in adb.exe shell it gives me an error and I can't get past there. Can someone please guide me through because I don't really feel like doing all this work to get back to 1.57 rooted again and then install all the extra goodies again as well

If you're using a terminal emulator on the phone it self then you skip the step that says adb.exe and just type su then everything else that follows

try running fix permissions from terminal :
type su(press enter)
fix_permissions(press enter)
And reboot
Then,
try installing the app "cachemate for root users"
from the market, check power clear option, and clear cache
Then try running rom manager, if it still doesnt work, try uninstalling and reinstalling

I get something similar. Also, after doing the full root, I lose root after a reboot...and even after I have root...no root commands work.
