So i get to the gscript point and cpoc works fine but when i go to run noreboot and oshitttt i get this message... "delete_module vision oc" failed"... I put the vision OC file on the root directory... first folder as it opens not within a folder on the SD card... so i don't get why it is not working?
Please help!
PS. I am using this video to walk me through it.

I have the same problem. I have SetCPU with custom frequencies, but it is not moving from 806MHz, even though all my profiles are set with higher values.
I have perma-root using the VISIONary process and I am able to access SU. Superuser also is set to ALLOW SetCPu, I can't find anything that can over clock it.
Just so you know I get to 6:17 in the video and that where I run into the problem.

I had recently changed the lock sound on the Mytouch 4G and I cant remember how to do it, I remember using the terminal emulator and running a couple of commands but I cant remember.
Does anyone know the commands to copy something to the root of the phone.
Also, phone is perm rooted
just use root explorer
It comes back and says that it is a read only, so does that mean that the perma root didnt work?

No it means you have to click the button in the upper right that says mount r/w...so that you can manipulate files..
Sent from my freshly rooted sex machine aka Icy MT4G!
I went through the screens on the Root Explorer and I am able to do R/W on the root but when I go into system/media/ui it wont let me change it from R/O to R/W, when I did it earlier today I ran it through the terminal, the reason its gone is because I only had the temp root and it repaired itself when I restarted my phone
my phone does not even make a lock or unlock sound.... the option is selected in sound settings and the volume is up, but no sound is made....
I tried some other commands and still a no go, does anyone know the command to mount the drive and move the file over

A few different builds I've tried have the percentage that shows inside the battery icon on the taskbar.
I've found a build that I like, but it just has the standard battery icon....How can I ad the percentage into it? I've found apps that will put battery percentage into the left side of the taskbar, but I don't want multiple icons
Try downloading Battery Icon Mod. You can find it on xda/apps..

Downloaded and installed but I get a message "Sorry, you don't seem to have full root r/w access. App will exit after you click OK."
I'm using TopiaHD NAND on my HD2...I thought it had root. I'm not having any problems using setcpu....and setcpu requires root.
I went into "Superuser" and I'm not able to figure out how to ad any apps to the list. Maybe if I could ad the battery icon mod to the list, it would work.
But something like Battery Icon Mod is just what I'm looking for....just need it to work lol

Hey guys. I know that there is an available atrix update, but I don't want to update. Att keeps sending me annoying messages to update. How do I get this to stop?
Sent from my MB860 using XDA App

It's easy to block the update if you don't want to lose root and also want to get rid of the annoying messages.
Just rename the otacerts.zip and cacerts.bks certs in system/etc/security.
The update will download (you must let it download), but fail the auth check and not install.
This also turns off the reminder notifications.
Easily reversible if you want to get updates later.

NVM. AS I POST THIS, Root explorer has decided to kick ass and rename it when I click the "Mount R/w" button at the top.
glad i saw this, i was going to ask the same question. thanks
Thank you for the tip. It works.
Another way of doing it is to freze updater 2.2.1 and upgrade app 2.2.1 with tit backup. Or so i've read
I tried that my self and it seems to work. I aint sure if the freze stick or not if booting though...
weird, i downloaded it but never installed it. i changed those two files posted above and it still just gave me the install screen of if i want to install now or later

Try my method if you're rooted. Works! I haven't got any prompts about doing anything after freezing the apps.

I want to update but I didnt get any notice. I was also beta tester but didnt get any update either. I flash sbf and ran system updater but nothing still.
I'm a little confused guys.
I pretty much followed the instructions for part 1 and 2 here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=12631216&postcount=2911
I flashed my phone back to 1.2.6 then ran the before update script. Then updated, then ran the after update script. I am able to download .apk files and run them without being pestered. But I tried to run boot strap, and nothing would happen when i hit "Recovery boot". I know the gignger blur installation instructions says to make sure I'm plugged in to an AC charger so I did. Didn't work. I plugged it into my car charger. Didn't work. Tried my USB cable connected to the PC for sh*ts and giggles, but still nothing.
So I though maybe my phone isn't rooted properly? I googled a little and found this: http://androidforums.com/32282-post3.html
I installed the terminal app and ran su and it said permission denied. But I think I am able to access /data/app-private (I type in cd /data/app-private and it doesn't do anything so I assume I'm in the app-private directory, no?)
...So I guess I'm just here to ask, am I going in the right direction to check to see if my phone is rooted? Any other way of checking to see if I'm rooted correctly? I'm not exactly looking for the easy way, I'm looking for the correct way.
Any help is appreciated =)
If you are properly rooted, there will be an application called Superuser in your app tray.

Open up Superuser and make sure it is in your "allow" list.

When I open up superuser it only says "No apps in list" under my Apps tab. And hitting the menu button (the button with the 4 squares) does nothing whenI'm in the Apps tab.
Strange... So when you type "su" in the terminal, does it give you a pop-up to allow superuser access?

Nope, just says "Permission denied"
Try switching usb settings from none to storage then back to none, and also uncheck usb debug and recheck it. I know when I updated my phone to restore root that is what I had to do or I would get premission denied.

Still no luck, I think I might have lost root ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=12685034&postcount=3303 )
How do you even loose root?
Yes, you don't have root. I was in a similar situation when I first tried the Mac version of aRoot. There was a bug in the script so I didn't actually get rooted, but it installed superuser anyway so I thought I was. Anything that requires root will simply fail.

try running fix permissions from terminal :
type su(press enter)
fix_permissions(press enter)
And reboot
Then,
try installing the app "cachemate for root users"
from the market, check power clear option, and clear cache
Then try running rom manager, if it still doesnt work, try uninstalling and reinstalling
